I have been pretty busy lately, sorry it's been a while. Work is keeping me busy, and I've been distracted with Overwatch and learning about AWS and Terraform and continuing my MSc degree. RL stuff. :O Also I have a gig to do with a friend at the start of Feb so I am practicing for that. Gonna be great~

My current plan is to get to Feb, open for commissions for a day or two not long after, and then close for a longer period while I work on a novel and a few other musical ideas. Exciting times! But it may be your last chance to pick up a one-day commission - for a little while at least.

I'm on mobile devices almost exclusively now, and find it much easier to pop on there and keep in touch and put up little bits of content and occasionally more. Random thought: is there such a thing as a writing livestream? Would you go, would it be of interest?

It just occurred to me that my one-day commissions model lends itself to streaming quite well. Also my whole writing process is generally very solitary and it could be nice to try something different.

There's also then the opportunity for doing small commissions on the fly (descriptions etc) or live outputs like RP. (Though not sure if I'd actually want to open for commissioned RP, haha.) But yeah, thoughts welcome!

So, finished all the one-day story commissions I received. I think opening for that style of commission was quite fun, and I might well do it again in future. It's been useful to try it out and I now know more to make it better next time.
For starters I think I should post the form and announcements the night before, so I can actually write stories on the day. Maybe go with short and long options rather than per 1k words, since I'm always over the count and in practice it'd only be two options; 1k and 2k have been fine but I'm not sure if I'd take a 3k+ commission at the moment. :o

As well as that I changed my thumbnail icon style again. More readable for you? I do wish FAs thumbs for stories were bigger, though. :/

I've had a couple of new jobs and real life is looking pretty OK now, and I'm having plenty of ideas for interesting stuff to create, but still can't get past the blank sheet of paper. Boo. :(
