University Life & Possible Account Switch
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! I know it's been a while, but hurrah! I'm still around.
For the past several months I've been helping my family with stuff while also getting ready for the Fall Semester of my new University life. Now that it's about... week 4, I can honestly say, it's cumbersome and tiring af. However, due to large gaps in my class schedule I have been able to doodle about in-between classes which leads up to the next topic: an account switch.
For years I've been trying to update my dragon sona and no matter what I've done in sketches I've never felt satisfied at all. So alongside with a possible sona change, to my Greninja character, I'm also contemplating on moving over to a new account. I've already had the account made, but have yet to do anything yet. School art projects have kept me busy and I'm still debating on moving everything to said account. While it's starting anew, it's also leaving what I've invested into this one thing for years! And with the watch in the hundreds, will it be close, or equal, to the numbers once I make the switch? It's uncertain. Once I make the decision, I'll be uploading my doodles probably next month for more to see.
That's pretty much what's been going on with my life currently, and I truly appreciate all of you guys watching, faving, commenting, critiquing, and taking the time in reading this. I'll post another journal once I made my decision for the account change. Thanks for reading and take care~!

Please read this carefully before contacting me for a commission. As my client, you automatically agree to the conditions listed upon commissioning me for artwork.
If you have ANY questions or concerns, feel free to send me a note on Furaffinity, DM me on twitter: @AzureBahamut, or email me at azurebahamut[at]gmail.com .
Payment
I will only be accepting Paypal as payment.
Send payment to azurebahamut[@]gmail.com. (Commission process will start once I have received the payment)
To avoid any unnecessary issues with PayPal, please use your username as the subject/title, then include the type of commission you would like for me to do. Then send me a note, or directly email me with the contents you’d like your image to have.
Commission Details and Progress
Please provide details of what you would like done.
I will make a rough sketch first and send the client to check if it is acceptable.
If accepted, I will ask for the full payment before continuing the work.
Any major changes late into the work cannot be applied. i.e. Asking to change pose when I’m already onto coloring the work.
Ownership
All commissions are works for hire; however, I reserve the right to post the finished artwork to my galleries and otherwise distribute it as part of my art portfolio, unless requested otherwise within reason.
Process
Initial sketches will start the commission. I will post a list of accepted commissions on the front of my FurAffinity page. If you wish to be anonymous on this list, please inform me upon commission request. Once the payment is received, the commission is considered IN PROGRESS.
In addition to the Commission Slot’s progress on the front page, I will keep regular contact with the client. The duration of individual works usually takes me 3 days to a week to complete, but personal demands and special challenges related to the commission in question may impact this estimate. The actual estimate will be quoted by email, notes, dm, etc. but is non-binding.
Rejection and Disputes
I am a welcoming man who loves people of all walks of life. Most people are good, but unfortunately, not everyone is. Sadly I must reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, but especially on the grounds of personal differences, abusive behavior, demands for previously listed objectionable content, perceived bad character or conduct, or possible use of my work for political or harassment ends. I reserve the right to terminate an agreement if needs arise. If I am at fault the refund will be in full; if I deem the issue to be with my client, I will use my discretion, with no guarantee, what, if any, refund may be given, from $0 to the full cost less transfer fees.
Any disputes will first be handled by a “good faith” effort by both parties via personal communication; if that fails the client must agree to make a “good faith” attempt at arbitration with a neutral third party artist in the community, to be selected by me, before seeking other methods of relief or publicly declaring ill or misconduct of myself. Failure to do so will result in the client forfeiting any possible future relief.

Flat Colored Lineart:
- Head: $11

Fully Shaded Picture:
- Head: $15

Initials prices for Lineart, Flat Colored, and Fully Shaded artworks are for single characters.
Reference Sheets will be flat colors and include color palette. In addition, I will do a nude and a clothed version of said character.
Add-Ons:
-Plain or One-colored Backgrounds will be free for all works.
-Simple Backgrounds: $5 (backgrounds with light detail)
-Additional Characters: $5 per character (2nd character is free)
Original Characters with Complex Detail: I will charge extra to OCs with an incredible amount of complex detail. Price range will be from $5 to $10, depending on added detail.
The client will receive a high resolution quality JPG, PNG, and PSD file of their commission.

Information Update!
Posted 7 years agoHey all! I've been hard at work these past couple of weeks, both trying to keep up my artwork flowing/improving, and researching and setting up my Terms of Service and Commission Info Guide. After careful thought and had friends proof-read it, I believe it's finally ready to launch!
However, since I'm just starting out, I'll be opening up 5 slots later this afternoon at 3:00 pm (Pacific). This will give you time to read over both documents before requesting a commission.

Belated Happy New Year & Commission Update

So with the New Year already starting I've switched from Photoshop to Clip Studio Paint. I'm doing some test works to get used to the new program while I'm still coming up with a starting commission sheet. It's tough, but hopefully I'll get it completed very soon.

Photoshop Alternatives?
Posted 7 years agoHey all, I'm having a bit of a problem and I need some recommendations for alternatives to Adobe Creative Cloud's photoshop. With the year nearly over I realized that the art program I'm currently using is subscription based due to my Graphic Design course earlier this spring semester. I found out that once the subscription ends I will no longer have access to photoshop and, while it is a year payment, I really don't want to pay the $119 to keep accessing only Photoshop. Are there any alternatives I should look into to get?

Life Update & Upcoming Plans

I apologize for being so quiet and such, but school stressed me out so much that I feel I had so little time to relax and do what I want. Good news is that I've graduated with an AA degree in Studio Art last Spring semester. I'm taking the time to actually relax and not apply for classes currently, which is why I've been uploading more artwork recently. So with feeling that I'm able to control my life better, I also feel more confident to start commissions very soon.
I'm planning out and typing up my commission information and prices now. After revisions I may upload it by next week. While I'm excited to start commissions, I'm also trying to work on the remaining requests I've had these past years. That also means my request status will be changing once the commission info is finally launched.
So that's all for now and I hope to improve my art by doing these.

I feel I had a jumpstart to my New Year's Resolutions this past week~
I recently obtained volunteer work for feeding the cats and cleaning the adoption center at my local Petsmart Thursday mornings. I've also been sketching and experimenting in Photoshop to improve. I hope to submit more works this year than previous years.

Posted 8 years agoIt's a bit late but I wanna wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I had a fun Christmas Eve with family and somewhat of a relaxing Christmas Day. Unfortunately my mother is sick so for the past week I've been in "good son" mode and helped around the house with the holiday festivities.

Posted 9 years agoFree from the evil clutches of my art history research paper! Sorry for not updating as much. This thing was a major pain to work on the past few months and I wanted to make sure I focused on my assignments more than sketches. Now that the research paper's done I'll be uploading sketches and stuff a bit more often.

Posted 9 years agoHi guys, I know I've been my usual silent self but just wanted to let you all know that I'm still around FA, and will be trying to upload more work during my summer break. Been thinking a lot about possibly starting commissions, thus I've been messing around in photoshop to learn more about the program and studying/planning things out. Not sure when this will start, but eventually. May make a Furry Network account just to expand, but still undecided. Til then, I'm stlll sticking around FA and other sites.
A Somber Morning
Posted 9 years agoJust a short, small life update. It's getting close to the end of the semester and been busy with 3D design art projects and studies for other classes. But, this morning was very gloomy.
My cat has passed away. She's been with us for many years after adopting her back while I was in elementary school. We'll miss you Lucy, our beloved house cat, 2004 - 2016.

Thank You For The Faves and Watches + Small Life Update
Posted 10 years agoYo, I want to thank everyone from the past couple of months that faved/watched me for more work. I've been meaning to thank everyone sooner, but school has crammed me with work and classes. I will upload more art soon, including some of my paintings/homework from my Fundamentals of Painting class. Plus, probably that one post on e621 might have something to do with that... :P
So school has got me occupied with class projects, taking 2 pe classes to keep up with my conditioning and training for Tae Kwon Do, then focusing a lot of my time on painting with oils so I can try and improve, and learn more with different techniques to try and apply to my digital works (If that's possible). Overall the semester has been kinda stressful but very beneficial.
Thanks again for the recent faves and watches and I'll try to upload some art in the near future! ^.=.^

Fall Semester Starts
Posted 10 years agoSo, fall semester has started last week for me, so my art uploads will be slow. I will continue uploading sketching I do in-between classes, and possibly some art projects from my Fundamentals for Painting class. Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up.

In art related news, I've been sketching here and there, but nothing too major. It's been so long since I last completely drew something decent that my skills have suffered dramatically, hence I'm only really sketching bit by bit. It sucks trying to get back at full potential. Once again I've leveled up and such. Now 22 and feeling a bit better, by that I mean I'm recovering from a cold. Anyway, school is nearly over and I've been trying to draw a lot lately, be it random sketches or trying to get poses right for the requests I've piled up. That has been the main reason why I haven't posted up much work, I have trouble with getting certain poses down, so I've been practicing on that. I'll begin posting progress bars on how close I am to completing works.

Posted 12 years agoHey guys, school's been out for a couple of weeks now and, after some soul searching, I finally found my motivation to draw once again! For the past couple of days, I have been trying to sketch out all of the overdue request pics, so I will be posting up each sketch and their progress.
