You know how there's 14 Land Before Time films in total? Most of em are ehh...ho-hum.

Reason: Capitalization & franchise milking

Most folks would agree the sequels shouldn't have existed. That's one reality we wish.

But imagine another timeline where they still exist but in totally different forms for a totally different reason, as if they always genuinely tried their damnest to make "the perfect sequel" and to reach max masterful potential with each and every story iteration

If we were part of an alternate reality like that, would you watch all of those instead?

Alright y'all. The Paragon is back & alive. Still kickin' through.

So here's what happened: Major career change I went through; I officially joined the military and finished Basic Training in the US ARMY. So, that's my new life now. I'm a soldier -- it was tough & demanding but it's finally over & I just graduated. I've been settling down my stuff over to my new location, so I'll get that organized before I can be back online fully to update y'all on art, contents, entertainment, commissions, & business-related matters.

This however also means I'm nearing the end of an era essentially. I won't be working on commissions anymore (hardly at least) as part of my main job as a former freelancer. So after 2022, it wont be the same anymore. Plus from here on out, I honestly want to work on new comic series and graphic novels I've dreamed of for a long time, as well as remake/reboot my old projects from the past before.

Please understand all of this, and I do thank each and everyone retroactively and in advance for these decisions I've made.

That being said, I'll still post & be more active online, and I'll even return to continue streaming art on Twitch (and play video games too hopefully), but it will have a makeover, as well as an emphasis on working on comics/sequential art more so than working on commissions & stand-alone, self-contained artworks.

Oh, and let's not forget my podcast program I started months ago, YapperZone (a.k.a YapperCast). That will be making an official return later this month too! New episodes, new topics & a new regime!

Where do I begin from here...

...So, everyone, I was essentially gone and missing for a whole year. It's like Azure didn't exist throughout last year. There were compalicted circumstances that came my way and I had to make resolve, both externally and internally. Let's just say combined with new duties I had to fulfill IRL, I also figured it would be best to not take part in the furry community or any online community as a whole for quite a while when the new decade approached. Part of this was due to how much turmoil affected me greatly and other unfulfilled desires needed my attention for once. Some I'm still working on. It has been very awfully stressful since but things simmered down for quite some time. That doesn't mean even recently, things were a cakewalk, combined with the global pandemic that I, and y'all, are very much aware of.

Regarding commissions and business over here, DO NOT FRET. I reassure you, despite everything that transpired, I'm here again to continue for a little longer and make things better. The absence was not expected on my part and was due to circumstances that went dire back over a year ago. No I never went homeless nor was I gravely injured or anything as catastrophic as that, but let's just honestly say I'd rather not disclose how things were before.

I have redesigned an entirely new menu, so please respect the new reforms I've made. Due to rent, other bills, and vital goals in mind, this was necessary. I've new slots open now but they may *not* come in a first come first serve basis. It'll be by choice of concept & scope.

As for the artist side, I've continued to work diligently, be it individual pieces or ambitious projects, not to mention trying whole new or different things. I'm taking things much more seriously than I (already) used to, such as execution and polishing various works, as well as creativity and avoiding blandness or oversimplicity (depending the type & nature of a piece).
Speaking of unique, I'm also pursuing to try composing music again. It's been YEARS since I last ever dabbled on anything at all correlating to making listenable audio.

Last but not least, I'll continue my fun fursuit shenanigans and even have a separate YouTube channel that features me as Octazure in fursuit, in addition to other creative or informative film works. I'll also return to Twitch streaming now that I have new hardware. This will be great for working on commissions as I have set up a highly rigorous daily schedule that I'll be carrying through fairly soon! Many changes and expansions from me online will ensue soon!

That all being said, I am officially back. Anew and whole. New methods, approaches, customs, goals, etc. are liberties and priorities I have taken to prepare for a better life, and this includes my art, career(s), my social network, and more. The skydragon soars and roars!!

Just a trivial list of what keys I dig the most in terms of main chords, initials, & overhaulings of a song/track (read from top to bottom, barely my favorites to my most favorite ever (currently speaking)):

Some of you may remember me having these, and I have had some changes in preferences since. I used to like D minor a lot but it's too common, so C#m (D♭m) started to grow on me since it's better for a more haunting variation in music.

F Major is also way too common, which funnily enough, it's the relative Major to D minor, so I took a dive in listening to more tracks in the G# (and G#m/A♭m) key and it was interesting for me. It's not as similar to the A minor key as thought. Like F#minor, it's unique and best in terms of atmosphere, minus the perfectly sorrowful haunt that is optimized in the F#m key. F minor's Major relative is the G# (which is A♭), so both of those keys in general pitch do go hand in hand, however. For certain genres & any ambient tones, I would describe the G#/G#m key as mysterious.

That all being said, I was torn on whether to keep A#minor (Bb minor) or not, but it's replaced with F#m. A#Major (B♭ Major) is a whole different deal on its own, but I haven't had many songs exposed to that key. Oddly enough, it's just F key or G minor pitch, depending on the song you listen to that is officially labeled as that key in databases. It's thanks to the fact that A# is the realtive fifth of the F key, which is why they sound connected.

Admittedly, listening to songs, whether upbeat or soothing/uplifting, in the E Major key is beautiful, so both A#Major (B♭) & E do hold as honorable mentions. If you include those, that totals to 7 keys in my total rank of pitch favorites.

Welp, tell me what you think! I happen to think along those keys when I listen to trance music & game/OST/general.

EACH KEY, DEPENDING ON THE COMPOSITION, MELODY, GENRE, ENERGY LEVELS + SOUND, ETC. REALLY VARIES AND TO EACH THEIR OWN ON INTERPRETATING THE TONES AND CONNOTATIONS OF A SONG, BUT THIS LINK SHOWS SOME FUN DESCRIPTIONS: http://www.wmich.edu/mus-theo/courses/keys.html + http://www.cbcmusic.ca/posts/11744/.....gnature-series what I find neat about this page is what each example of an animal would be associated with what key closest to their style/kin/way of behaviors. It also mentions fictional characters, zodiac, & titular + overall descriptions, etc.

For instance, the Badger gets C minor, arguably one of the more ferocious keys if the song does, which fits but I enjoyed F#Major(the description) & characters from C#minor the most. Admittedly, the F minor's "clothes preference" & attitude, also enticed me.

More opinions (as of Dec. 21, 2018): I've always despised the Eb minor key / D# minor key THE MOST. APPALLING. Its Major equivalent is fine when listening to the mood of a song, but whether it's performing or listening to its minor counterpart, it's almost impossible for me to do, & it's HORRID even upon listening to songs especially if it's meant to cast an infinitely negative tone. I'd prefer the Bb minor any day if I had to choose between the two, because while that one is also terrifyingly complex, it's less sufferage, and on songs that sound less dark under the A#minor key, I get a more 'intellectual' feel while not too vanilla like the A minor key is. On additional side note, I find it weird when some songs on A#/Bb Major equivalent happen to be in the same pitch as the F Major key, but considering it's the 5th dominant, it's not surprising.
