Eureka, chaps and donnas, the Apostle has returned, bearing news and milk and honey and presents for all of you, you lucky cretins:

It’s been close to two years since I’ve bothered updating this dusty piece of work, and my oh my, what cobwebs this place has amassed. But, I digress: I’ve got a lot to cover, so grab a cuppa’ and settle in:

Spring comes thundering like a rabid score of demon-llamas, and with it comes one of only three certainties in life, change. (The two others are death and taxes.. atleast until some-bloody-one gets their arse of their chairs and invent that immortality injection, you lazy schmucks!)

One change being that I’ve graduated from my undisclosed education as an animator and I’m currently glaring into the tooth-riddled maw of recently-graduated poverty – I know for a fact that some damn flirtatiously nostalgic part of my brain in 10 years time will try to convince me that I’ll “miss the good old times when I worked 70 hours a day and only ate broken dreams and drank the dry tears of frustration, haw-haw-haw.” (I’d then take a sup from my insultingly expensive Scotch and puff on my rolled up $100 bill, BECAUSE ANIMATORS ARE DESTINED TO BECOME RICH! No, I’m not listening to your “but”’s! Lalalalala!)

Another is – why, I’ve actually drawn something! Look! Shiny colors! Swoon!

I don’t want to bad-talk animation, because I honestly have a love-hate relationship with the craft, but there’s something inherently empowering in getting but a hint of an idea about the application of color. It’s like you’ve stumbled upon some (honestly pretty lame) superpower, causing you to quiver with anticipation when you unleash it upon an unsuspecting world.

It leads me to an ethereal question, though: I can’t be the only one, can I?

So, for this journal entry, lets try something novel:

Today’s personal highlight is the fact that I’ve begun playing Furcadia again! “What’s this?” you might say, glaring at me skeptically: “Are you one of those god-durnit roleplayin’ folks?” to which I’ll say “Damn straight!”. Once more, chaps and donnas, another reason to have some faith in human nature, -fickle as it might be-:

Apparently, some kindred soul decided to un-steal my MacBook, returning it to proper authorities that in turn contacted me with the positively D E L U X E news that I'm not 1.500 quid poorer after all.

Savvy that, eh?

After a brief conversation with the man in charge of handing out items adrift (among other things, proving my identity), he kindly gave me the necessary information to have my brother pick up said M'book and have it consigned to my home. Shizztastic.

Consequently, I'll be able to upload the indubitable amount of clean sketches the moment I'm home once again - REJOICE, and all that.

"An Unpresidented Faux Pas"

I've come around to update my profile - fittin' it for future plans and all that jive.

And I've even gone bold and added the possibility of commissioning me: M O N S T R O S I T Y!
So oogle my site-description to get some more details on that shizz-tasticness.

A random thought that occured to me is the concept of adversity - just recently, I conducted a f*ck-up (somehow managed to loose my MacBook) that -really- set me back quite a bout.

I know that some peeps in my surrounding social circles - the lady in particular - will go mental like a rabies-infested chipmunk, questioning whether there is a God in the World and "will we survive 2012!?"

Me, on the other, seem to take it with a slight annoyance, but somehow I keep turning up positive things learned from abovementioned f*ck-up - it's resulted in me drawing much more than I normally do, -and- forced me to kickstart the comic, I've been thinkin' b'out for ages, mostly as a necessity to establish myself (Yes, you gits, you hear me - I'm one of those greedy arseholes - Harhharhharh.)

S-o-m-e-t-i-m-e-s, it apparently takes some adversity to -really- get things progressing.
