suggested it would be a good idea to do a commission, then a personal project; wash, rinse, & repeat.
So for every commission I put out, expect a personal project to follow. This helps me shake things up and make drawing.. fun again. I NEVER draw personal projects when I have commissions to do. I've been stressing about art for the past week or so. Every now and then, I go through small spurts of art block; I know what I want to draw, but suddenly find my skills in the gutter.

I'm relieving myself from the burden of unfinished art for the next few days. Letting you guys know will (hopefully) clear my conscience enough to de-stressify myself. I want to draw so much but I won't force myself and put out art I know I could have done better. To my commissioners, Sorry for taking so long...all the time -.-# but yea, it needs to be done!

Instructions on how to wash your Toilet & your Cat

1. Put both lids up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the loud noises, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse".
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the here and the front door.
7. Standing behind as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out, streak through the room and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

Anyway, the fandom has saved me in more ways than one. Just wanted to let you guys know how much it all of this means to me. I love yo' faces.

When I tell people my species is a Dackal (Jackal-Dog with the dominant trait being a domestic Golden Retriever over the Black backed Jackal), People tell me my species is redundant.

I've been told Jackals ARE in the same category as my golden retriever half. I guess in a very broad, vague way, I they're right. But that would mean Wolves, Coyotes, dometsic canines, etc are all the "same thing" too. They are all in the same family of animals.

I'm not 100% about too much of anything, but I am almost certain there IS a difference between Jackals and domesticated dogs from all the research I've done. And the Jackal-dog hybrid is neither full dog or jackal.

I'd like to ask you guys to find info on the topic. My OCD won't let me just say "Fuck it, I'll be whatever the hell I want." I need facts!!! D:

Despite his… unorthodox coloration, Boom is simply a hybrid of a dog (Golden Retriever) and a Black-Backed jackal; a ‘Dackal’, if you may. He gets his bounciness, eccentricity, friendliness and enthusiasm from the golden retriever in him, while the jackal half of him contributes to his sarcastic, mischievous and devious side.
-Actually, to imply that Boom was anything close to SIMPLE is a blatant lie.
His story began in the early 1800s, when the dread pirate Flannelbeard, a jackal infamous for raiding and sinking 15 ships with nothing but his trusty spoon, Spoonerwick, was lost at sea after a freak spooning accident.
It was 200 years in the future when his body was found, frozen and perfectly preserved within an iceberg, by a famous golden retriever explorer named Dorado Exuberius Flinterwocky McJabberjaw Bigwood XVIII (publicly known as ‘Gold the Explorer’, as ‘Dora the Explorer’ was already taken).
When Gold chipped off a bit of ice for his vodka, Flannelbeard exploded out of his icy prison with the help of Spoonerwick, and after a few minutes of struggling with the language barrier, the pirate engaged the explorer in a deadly game of tic-tac-toe.
So intense was their match that entire fields of science were devoted to studying how the world withstood the forces at play. Never had a game of tic-tac-toe been so impressive and beautifully horrific at the same time. The match was never finished, as one glance at Gold’s ancient god cards and millennium puzzle was enough for Flannelbeard to fall deeply in man-love with the Explorer’s rad duelling skills.
The sex that followed was ungodly and masculine. The Dackal was always bored.

Unique markings and fur color aside, Boom possessed a long, powerful, prehensile tongue, quite similar to a tentacle. He’s very skilled in its use, and often uses it to stimulate those ‘hard to reach places’.

In Reading, I scored a 91/120, which is two points over average. I'll be taking a standard college literature class me thinks. :3

In math, I made a 39/120! They used to let people use calculators, but they said our class was one of the first to test WITHOUT. When we learned to divide fractions in High School, we learned on calculators, and guess whuutt? Half of the questions involved the division of fractions! :D
So I'll be with the dummies in remedial math. I may go back and retake it.. -.- GOTTA STUDY THEM FRACTIONS FURST.

Where I shined was Sentence Structure and Writing... I made a 117/120!!! She said the score was excellent! I've been studying pronunciation, grammar, and... well... sentence structure for the story I'm writing and it REALLY helped me out. I'll be able to take an Advanced College English/Writing class if I want!! :D And yea... I WANT.


Overall, I'm satisfied with my scores. If I'm not able to just retake the math part, I'll remain content learning maths I learned back in the ninth grade. -.-

I've found that I've been writing my story more than drawing. I have about 5 chapters, 50 pages and still so much more planned. Every attempt at writing a story before was a one night-fuck around kind of thing. This has been going on for about 3 weeks now.

I'm naming the first 7 chapters, "Seven". It will stand alone as a short story.
I plan on writing a book (ambitious, right?) called "Broken", featuring Seven at the beginning.
Its not a Furry book, but I never specify it isn't. I feel like its easy to imagine the characters as anthro. I know I do when I write. x3 I just never use words like "Fur", "Paws", etc.

I'm so excited to keep this great story going! I've been studying proper grammar, pronunciation, and spelling in my free time. Don't worry, I'm still working on the arts too! x3
