Good news, is that I’ve pretty much finished the move! I got my stuff down to my destination, and have finished setting up my place so I may continue to draw on my computer. I have accounts with electricity and the internet.

On to the bad news. Said internet, kind of sucks. It’s not at all powerful enough for me to stream said art. I’ll be working on art offline in the meantime, not streamed, but I just don’t have the money to pay for a new ISP for a few weeks, so no streams for a couple weeks.

So, I decided to extend the diaperfur drawing suggestions thing through August because I haven't had time to draw many of them yet.

However, I will be changing it from a strawpoll where people can vote multiple times, to a google form that'll collect responses until Sunday afternoon, and then I'll use a random number generator to choose from the responses. So, if you REALLY want to see a certain character drawn, please suggest them here. You can suggest as many characters as you want, but duplicate responses will be combined in to one in the final list.

Hey y'all. So, tl;dr is basically, I WAY underestimated how much money I needed to move, and overestimated my ability to earn money.

To start, I miscalculated how much I was earning at my summer job, because of taxes and then paying less than the regular year's work. Plus, I have to pay for my own insurance since I lost it from my old job. Basically my work situation is less than ideal. But it still takes all of my time so I have less time and energy than I thought I would to work on commissions. So sorry to anyone who recently commissioned me and has been getting slow updates.

As well, moving has taken up even more of my time. What with packing and dealing with all the logistics, it's been time consuming. And, I keep finding out more things I have to pay for, so I'm getting deeper in to a hole that I can't figure out a way out of besides basically desperately asking some of my close friends and boyfriend for some financial assistance, which is not fair to them. For example, because of my poor credit history, I'm being asked to pay a deposit of $500 just to turn on utilities at my new place. And I just don't have that at the moment. There's *much* more I need to pay for in the next couple weeks, but I'll spare all the details.

So, um, all this to say, I could really use any and all financial assistance y'all are willing to spare as I navigate this move. I will make it up to y'all with lots of art once the move is done with, but for now, if you could spare some money for commissioning me, that'd be greatly appreciated.

If anyone follows me at FlamingAzalea and/or AdultFlamingAzalea, you'll see I did a mayternity thing where I drew pregnant characters based off an open poll. I kinda wanna do something similar on my BabyAzalea account with diapering characters based off of a poll this July.

Twice a week, I'll draw a randomly selected character from this poll (which has the option to add more suggestions) in a situation where they're in a diaper. Gonna try to keep the characters true to canon in terms of how they'd react to being padded to the best of my ability. The poll is linked below, and will be open between now and the end of July.

I am going to be moving in August. Unlike all my previous moves, this one is probably the one I am most nervous and also excited about. I am nervous because I will be moving from a state with very strong protections for queer and trans people, to one with fewer protections. However, I am also excited because the reason I am moving is because I want to be closer to my long distance boyfriend. There are several other reasons why this is going to be an emotional move, but I don’t want to get into all of the details.

What I DO want to get into, is that moving several states away comes with a hefty price tag. And, with my specific profession, summer means less work and lower pay. To make up for that, I will be drawing more and trying to take more commissions. My streaming schedule starting Sunday June 15th until Thursday July 31st will be:

In August, I will need a week or two to unpack, set up utilities, and get settled into the new area. So, this year has had its ups and downs, but it was still a pretty okay year compared to other years. And I was just thinking at the end of last week that the year was wrapping up nicely, then my car slid into a rock in the snow, knocking off a huge piece of the bumper. :c

I took it to a local body shop, and the estimate to repair the damage is like $1,800 which my meager savings can barely cover even a fraction of. And, I do want to get the damages fixed as soon as possible, before I get pulled over by the wrong (or any) cop and am told the car, while still drivable, is not street legal, thus accruing more fines that I cannot afford.

So, long story short, if you want to commission someone for art, please consider us, because we kind of really need it.

I feel like I have to say something after recent events in the United States.

In case I never said it before, I'm basically a socialist, part of what many may consider far left. That being said, it should be pretty obvious which of the two main candidates I was hoping would win. And when she lost, I was heartbroken and filled with despair and anger.

My headmate Gabi, however, is helping me get out of this spiral of anxiety and depression, urging me to channel this energy out of being sad, and towards positive change and action. Now is not the time to give up hope. Now more than ever, we need to fight! For rights, and true freedom!

All this to say, I don't want to alienate any of my audience. I want my art to be enjoyed by all. HOWEVER, I will always side with the queer and trans community, with communities of color, with disabled individuals, with individuals of different faiths or lack thereof. With marginalized peoples of all kinds. I will side with people who are underrepresented in society as a whole.
