My grandmother passed yesterday morning
Posted 2 years agoIt's been a bit of ride this month. My grandmother hasn't really been eating much or drinking much of anything the past few months, so I've been expecting this... but family has been hit much harder, my mother most of all as far as I'm hearing.

Any recommendations for comic artists?
Posted 2 years agoI'm looking for anyone who might be able to do a big comic commission for me, involving two of my characters at a younger age (Baker being 13 and Duhir looking a bit younger in it)
It's a fully clean comic, it has some magic, and it's entirely SFW
It's having to do with backstory for my bats and it's something I'd *really* love to get turned into a comic

Feel free to ask me anything
Posted 3 years agoOn the off chance anyone has anything they've wanted to ask me but haven't, due to me being a bit weird when it comes to replying/ect, feel free to ask me anything here.
Though anything adult ONLY ask me in notes.
If can be about my numerous OCs, about me, or whatever.
Some things I may not answer due to being very private (Like certain trauma/big events), but pretty much anything else is on the table~
And if this is open, then feel free to ask anything~
Don't ask me about 'I know someone you blocked why'd you block them' though, that's reportable~

R.I.P. Brook
Posted 3 years agoMy mom's dog, a bit over 14 years old, had to be put to sleep yesterday due to cancerous tumors/growths inside the body... won't say the rest cause it's unpleasant.
My main worry now is that without Brook around, we need to pay attention more to keeping an eye on my mom because our dog used to wake up when she could tell my mom's blood sugar was dropping.

The rules for reporting stolen art on FA = annoying as he...
Posted 3 years agoMultiple times now I've come across peoples' pages where they just upload art they like in some way, don't even credit the original artists nor do they usually give information they they're not the artist.
In order to report any art theft on FA you have to be one of two things
1) The person who drew it
2) The person who commissioned it
There's artists that either don't have an FA page, or they don't speak any english at all, so trying to communicate is a huge pain in the ass. And you have to push against the rules hard to get staff to remove images that were done by non english speaking artists because of that. More so when they seemed to have abandoned their FA pages as well.
I've given multiple links to the artists pages, their original uploads on pixiv/twitter/FA/ect, and you have to push hard to get FA to remove the stolen art.

Anyone here play FF7 The First Soldier?
Posted 3 years agoJust wondering. I'd like to be able to try a team match at some point without relying on randos that refuse to communicate

PiZe is doing a raffle~
Posted 3 years agoSo, I want to post more info about my characters, but...
Posted 3 years agoI'm a small bit afraid to?
I have a LOT of work I put into all of my OCs and I want to share it with others, but at the same time because some others did...
-Had one person try to steal Bacent (My blue tiger main OC) and try to claim it as their own back in 2009
-Had someone get a bit too interested, where they were editing my commissions without permission
-Had multiple people only say sexual things about my one female OC, even when told to stop (Haven't gotten anything of her since 2016 cause of it pissing me off)
I've mainly told close friends more about my characters, but I do want to share more.
Anybody have any suggestions in how I could possibly get a little less uneasy about it?

Just turned 31 today~
Posted 4 years agoBeen a long year, had a huge reconstructive surgery on my jaw (TMJ) with a 3-ish month base recovery time before I could actually chew again, mood has been a rollercoaster with covid stuff and family loss due to it, and just general chaos.
But hey, I'm still goin, hope others are as well~

Just gonna clear the air on some things about me/what I l...
Posted 4 years agoGonna be blunt about this, since in the past I've had some unsavory comments/messages that I just flat out didn't like since I've joined the site and still get on occasion.
Just because I've commissioned someone in the past who's done some more fetishy art, don't assume I'm into any of that.
I've commissioned a couple pictures from someone who mostly done baby fur stuff, and I'm not interested in it. But some people don't seem to think that 'Oh he only commissioned them, doesn't mean he's into it'.
I've had some people ask me about some of that stuff before and have flat out said 'oh thought you liked it since you got art from that artist'.
Like cool you be whatever you want to be into sure, but just stop assuming that someone is into a kink/fetish/ect just because of commissioning someone.
Same thing goes for certain other things as well. I've had to delete comments before due to people saying stuff about my character's feet just because he was bare footed before. Fuck off with that kindly.
And I've had people tell me what kind of things they want to do to my ONE female character to the point I don't get stuff of her often because of those kinds of people. I've even had people say stuff about her when I told them to stop, and they either forgot due to not caring much about it, or ignored me and kept going.
I'm gay. It should be obvious by the fact I'm with my fiancé and we have a few different character couples that are all male/male, but I'm flat out stating it now in case people missed it.
I don't like feet, I don't like diapers, I don't like anything related to using the bathroom in any shape/form (I'm disgusted by it), I don't like fat/obese stuff, I don't like any form of smoking/drug use/alcohol use, I don't like bi/straight/herm art. I've had people try to start uncomfortable conversations with me because they only wanted to talk about what THEY like.
I only like normal male stuff with nothing a non-male would physically have and I'm going by scientific textbook definition about this.
I don't have anything against anyone/anything that's different (Female/intersex/herm/trans/ect)
I don't appreciate anyone coming along and posting stuff like 'omg I want them to rape me!' like I've had in the past. If you're gonna comment and you don't see anything about someone wanting those kinds of creepy comments/ect on their page, just don't do it. It's not hard to use common sense.
Soo tl;dr - Don't assume what someone likes based on who they've commissioned. Don't be a creep.

Recovery from TMJ surgery
Posted 5 years agoOn the 27th last month I went in for TMJ surgery. I've been having pains in my jaw just from talking/yawning/eating since I was about 13. Turns out part ow what could have started my TMJ was my tonsils being removed when I was in first grade...
But anyways TMJ is when you jaw is misaligned and it can cause varying levels of pain. My right right of my jaw would sometimes pop out of socket, and rarely get stuck in said position. It's happen a few times, and while the normal pain from it was bearable (About a 3.5) the loud cracking people would often hear from my jaw would spike up to an 8-9, and when it got stuck it'd be at a full 10.
My lower jaw was also about 1/3 of an inch further than my undersized upper jaw. Which also made eating a chore as well. I couldn't bite anything from the front of my teeth, and at this point only two of my teeth made contact. So a few years ago I started a super long process of getting it corrected... which started with two different retainers.
The starting one would put some material between the teeth on one side of my mouth to allow me to make more contact, and after about a year, I got a new one that did that, but also helped unbend my jaw joint a bit due to the misallignment.
Then a bit over a year ago I got braces.... for the second time (First time I had them from 10-17 to correct my crooked teeth, but hey I'm gay so nothing on me is straight, lawl)
They slowly moved my teeth around to the correct positioning for surgery, as well as having to contour some of my crowns to better fit the space they'd be taking up (Some crowns were SUPER chonky)
Then the 27th of October finally came around (My original jaw surgery was supposed to be in july, but yay covid), and when I came out of surgery, I was fucking terrified.
The amount of swelling in my face, and the fact that the swelling kept getting bigger for a few days after surgery (Which was expected), but it felt like my throat and nostrils might close up, and I was scared to even sleep. I was on edge the whole time and I was getting sleep in like 15-20 min bursts. (One thing that made iit worse is the hospital bed I was on had no cushioning under it, so I was sitting on my tailbone the whole time).
But today I saw my surgeon for a checkup, and she said I'm healing wonderfully and I'm where they expected me to be with my recovery (Today is day 10 out of 8 weeks), and today is the first day that I got some kind of solid food inside of me. I can't chew yet, but the chicken noodle soup and applesauce I had, I could finally feel texture with my tongue again... and holy shit I almost cried...
TL;DR - I had huge jaw surgery, long buildup for it, and originally was scared for the first few days. Doing better now though~

Just turned 30 today
Posted 5 years agoSo, yay? I just want this month to be less depressing.
Grandmother just died last night
Posted 5 years agoYup, everything feels depressing as hell here. My dad cried which I've only seen 3 times in my life, and I'm going to be 30 in a couple of days.
Can this year just stop already?

Why does it feel like I'm watching people I've never watc...
Posted 5 years agoThis has been going on for a while now, but it feels like there's a lot of people I'm watching on FA, that I wouldn't actually watch. I go to their galleries and there's nothing I've faved, so why am I watching them?
I occasionally see a journal or a submission and go 'that's not something I'd follow' and then I'm confused again and again as it feels like there's more and more people I'm watching that have nothing of my personal interest.
Nothing against said people, but I'm not interested in following fursuit/picture accounts... or just accounts where people post pics of their car or alcohol they've gotten, but I see it in my recent submissions.
