I'm going to really have to power through the pain in order to make this goal, so I'm gonna be offering a comic that I've been working on for the past 6 months or so. It's not my traditional sort of comic page, it's a whole little story. Involves some of my favourite things... wincest, beast, some cheating thrown in for good measure... it's short, 8 pages in its current form, tho tbh I have a couple of extra pages storyboarded because I'm not 100% sure how I should end it x: there will be 3 slots available, the son [main, over 18], the parent [mom or dad], and the dog d: this WAS started as a sort of personal thing, that I was gonna try to do long term, but... eh. I don't think I can produce a good looking comic, not on the level it'd need to be, soooooo... I'll try again later, maybe after my shit is fully healed.

Unfortunately, my youngest had the flu last week... which means I've got it, now. Which means that I'm basically lying in bed, sore, coughing, sneezing... leaking. And not the good kind of leaking. It'll probably be a day or three before I'm able to force through stuff, at which point, I'll post the comic, and open one or two Quick Batches. Maybe 3.

As I said, I’ve got a shitzillion few sketches that are up for collaborations. If you’re interested in collaborating on one or more [me=sketch and flats, you=lines and shading, 50//50 split]. This folder only has a VERY FEW of the sketches that I’ve done, because I don’t want to throw them ALL in there and end up accepting too many. I’ve gotta work within my physical constraints… which suck ass right now. And not the good kind of ass.

For adopts, you can do up to 3 per species, only to THREE people [unless otherwise indicated...]. No more at this time. Use my lines, tho you’re welcome to add some extra things if you’d like to increase the $ it earns. They must stay true to their species guidelines [ask if you’re not sure, but since you’re using my lines, that shouldn’t be a problem!] and must credit BadArt for the species//lines. Not sure the split on these, suggest something to me?

To the few artists that are around, I've got a damn ton of sketches I've wanted to turn into YCHs that I'm going to throw together into a file within the next few days, and I'm gonna ask if any of you would be interested in doing them with me as a collab to sell. I [obviously] do the Sketch, and I can manage doing flats, but you'd be responsible for lining and shading. Some of them can be multi slot, some are one offs, and some are comic pages. I'm even thinking of giving one or two people access to a few of my species to do a few collaborations with them [GoatDogThings, Blunders, maaayyybe even Shiko idk]. When it comes to my closed species, it's NOT forever access [unless we come to a separate agreement...], just for one or three adopts per interested artist. For the sketches [and adopts], it'll be a percentage for each of us, and for multi slots, the will be a set number. I'm half asleep so that.. is all probably worded.. wrong, but hopefully you get me xD

I'm just trying to do something that can help offset my medical bills*, and honestly lining and shading is killing me ;_; my adopts are apparently crap, so that's not an option xD so.. yes! Thought something like this may be a happy medium..

Unfortunately my wrist is still fucked, so art is still on hold, buuuut I ordered some CBD stuff, and some biofreeze, and I'm hoping between the two, I'll have a functioning wrist. My only worry is I'll do too much cuz i can't feel the pain and damage it further.. sigh. Either way, surgery on my shoulder is just a couple of weeks away, and after that's all healed, my dr. is gonna start working on the wrist. Wish me luck @_@;;

Sorry for the quiet. Pain is still a factor, but more.. importantly, I've had a very.. there's been a death in my immediate, very, extremely close family. Because this year hasn't sucked enough. Even more sucky is, thanks to being broke af from all of my medical bills and surgery shit, I can't even go to the funeral. This year can seriously go fuck itself at this point. I'm all out of silver linings.

Like.. an insanely long, long while. I won't bore you with updates [there are.. a lot of them.. and very few are good], but I did want to let you know that I am, despite all appearances, still alive.

Up until about 2//3 weeks ago, I couldn't draw. At all. At first, it was simply due to a bit of a.. depression induced block, I guess. But then, I started to get ideas, again. Started to feel that "gotta draw!" urge. And so.. draw, I did. It.. wasn't great. Mainly, because my wrist is still fucked up. They [my ortho] want to do surgery on it, but it's going to have to wait. Until after I have surgery on my shoulder. The process for that little gem has taken me months, and there are still at least 8 weeks left to go before they'll even schedule it [thanks, insurance!]. So.. while I've been drawing, it's been just.. random crap. And it takes me forever. But.. I suppose I'll post 'em up. Cuz why not? Hate to see them go to waste. The plan for them, really, was to do them as YCHs, so they're.. not exactly.. finished. I'll probably still post them as YCHs, but with the understanding that they won't be done with any sort of speed. Payment after completion, as usual. Especially now with the.. iffy shoulder, coupled with the wrist.

Things have been. My Dane passed. Way too young. He was [almost] 4 years old... Rattlesnake bit him, then... his heart gave out. They couldn't save him. I couldn't.. save him. It's.. the pain is still.. really fresh.

I guess it's time for a small update..

As some of you may know, the kids all had the flu back a couple of weeks ago, the one that spawned double ear and sinus infection(s) in me, but everyone's better now.. except one of the kids has been having debilitating migraines ever since.. every day. I've missed a lot of work and teaching just.. being with him, trying to help him through them. Spent a day in the peds//urgent care//ER and they couldn't help, told us to wait it out ANOTHER week and then see if he'll need to get some scans and such /: he's got an appointment with a neurologist coming up, as well.

So that's why I'm so quiet this time.. I do apologise for it, but honestly I've just been completely consumed with this.. I rarely sleep or eat, drawing for me is currently impossible ;-; interaction is at an all time low.. and yeah.. I'm just.. I'm sorry. I'm so incredibly stressed out over this.. I don't know.. I'm trying to think positively, but it's so fucking hard right now when at the pediatrician's office, at urgent Care, and at the ER, they had to retake his vitals several times with different machines because they were so bad, they couldn't figure out what's wrong with him and couldn't relieve his pain, and they just.. sent him home. My poor baby /:

So.. yeah. I'm truly sorry. I'd say I'll try harder to be on while this is ongoing, but that would be a lie.. until this is solved, I'm pretty much going to have blinders on, focusing on it.

Bless my kids, tho.. they know Christmas is gonna be.. light this year, and they just keep saying it doesn't matter, they just want him to feel better. I am so incredibly lucky to have them. They are the best gift I could ever have.

So that whole "I'm arting when I can" thing turned into basically "I haven't arted at all" ._. after jury duty, I had so much work to catch up on.. then the art classes I teach.. then the seemingly infinite mom things I need to do.. *flops* I've basically been getting up at 5am and falling asleep at 9pm. I'm just.. fucking exhausted. I haven't been run this ragged in... forever.

But it's a good busy. If that makes sense. It's keeping me so busy that I'm actually happy. I don't have any time to sit and think about all of the things that I see and read and remember that hurt me. It's just.. constant go go go. I'm almost afraid to stop. Hell, I AM afraid to stop. It'll all hit me like a ton of bricks, I'm sure.. so until I figure out how to stop gracefully.. I'll probably just.. keep up the pace...

Having said that, though, I AM going to SOMEHOW find a way to art. Because I need it. My head is bursting with the things I want to draw and I've just gotta get it all out. So.. next week, I'm going to really put some time into.. trying to fit in a couple of hours every day to draw. For my sanity. And so it's not so dead around here x:
