But yeah, gonna slow down, now. The next couple of days will be exceptionally busy for me, here [last weeks of school for the kiddos=test prep, open houses, awards ceremonies, projects, etc. etc. etc. Plus work is just crazzzzy right now, on top of more frequent PT visits due to my wrist and shoulder and knee. Who knew being such an active child//teen//young adult would cause me so much pain @_@;;] SO! Things will be slower. But not completely quiet [x Gonna still be working on whatever I can tie the 20th, but I'm not gonna be able to rush them as I have been. AFTER the 20th, I'll probably take a day or two to recover, then get back to my schedule, finish up all the things that are due, and what not. Until that point, I will absolutely NOT be taking anything else on! I've gotta re-think my "schedule" and how I offer things with summer coming up. And hey, maybe I'll get to streaming again! [tho... I have taken so damn long with this one because I REALLY wanted to redo the lines BEFORE I did it, but... my wrist has been driving me fucking crazy and I just haven't been able to, yet. Personally, things... are going. In a lot of physical pain, which isn't helping my depression, so I'm still being pretty quiet. But I have hope. This won't last forever!

So... yeah, I've been... really quiet lately. Going through some stuff. The prolonged illness [pneumonia, then post pneumonia fatigue, then the pneumonia relapse coupled with strep throat, THEN the concussion and the fractured wrist] really knocked me for a mental loop. Who knew being sick//injured for over a month could have such a negative impact ;-; So.. yeah, trying to mentally sort things out. So yeah, dealing with that, right now. Means I've been pretty quiet ;-; I apologize for that. I hate being so... quiet. It's SO not me >_< *sighs* But, I'm pulling myself slowly but surely out of the hole. So my "bad health" streak continues with a relapse of Pneumonia coupled with Strep Throat. FUN TIMES AMIRITE? No.

I just... don't even know what to do at this point. Clearly I'm just... going to be sick for another couple of weeks. I don't even know what to say anymore. No one is more tired of me saying I'm sick than... me.

I have some personal characters I've had sitting around that I've designed, some that I've purchased from others in the past, that I will be offering for sale sporadically over the next few days. I'd like to refund everyone, everything, anyone waiting on anything. idk. I'm just so... sick and tired of being sick and tired ;-;

As you may [or may not] know, the status of my XIIIs has been in question, bringing my status as a trusted artist in question. As of this moment, I've decided that I am going to keep the XIIIs. However, there will be some changes.

Ref sheets//base will be redone.
-Aside from any XIIIs that I currently outstanding, XIIIs will be taking on a new form.
*The feral ref--a nod to their inspiration, Nanaki [Red XIII]--will be removed entirely. I will be redoing the feral ref, but it will not be included on the ref sheet as it has been.
*The UPC will be further edited, though placement will remain the same or approximate.
*Feathers will be replaced with... something else. Not entirely sure what, yet. Perhaps feathers of a different sort, with different placement.
*Shackles will remain, though bandage will be replaced with another shackle, perhaps with a small section of chain.
*Fire will remain, though it will be slightly different

They will always be called XIII, that will not change.

What this means for current XIII owners--not much. After I redesign the sheets, I will offer to redo yours to match. This will take me a lot of time and will be done without a charge. It's hardly your fault this is happening, it wouldn't be fair to charge you. I ask for your patience because, quite frankly, these took me a lot of time to begin with, so it will probably take quite some time to redo all of the refs for the XIIIs out in the "wild".

I've yet to hear back from Trusted Artists [to be fair, my note to them wasn't sent all that long ago, so I probably won't hear back from them for a while], but I'm going to assume for the time being that I am no longer a Trusted Artist. Not because I've done something untrustworthy like abscond with money, leave everyone hanging without updates, disappear, etc., but because someone [or someones] have decided that I shouldn't be considered trustworthy because of my XIIIs. Because I will not give up the species I've put so much work into. And that's Ok. They are not comfortable, so I will not force myself upon them, nor will I fight them over it. I've worked very hard to be trustworthy. To keep lines of communication very open, to offer refunds when I know that I am falling behind, to always, always let you all know exactly what's happening. I hope that I've been successful in that. I will be opening up a review thread in the near future so that anyone may leave a review of the service they received, good or bad, from me. When I say that XIIIs are a closed species, I am in no way saying that you are not allowed to create your own Nanaki inspired character. Please, do! Have fun with it! Nanaki is an extremely inspiring character! He looks amazing! Please, knock yourself out! What I am saying, is that you cannot count them amongst my XIIIs. You cannot use their lore, you cannot add them to the breeding pool. Stuff like that. That's all. If your Nanaki-inspired OC gets it on with a XII of the opposite sex, don't expect them to have a bunch of cubs or whatever, because that would go against the lore.

Next, my status as a Trusted Artist is.. tenuous, at best. They're making no concessions and I'm not really sure if I'm inclined to just... let my XIIIs go. There's no middle ground, no compromise, apparently, so.. I just need to decide whether to let them go, or to let my XIIIs go. I've put a fuck ton of work into the lore and they want me to just throw that away, basically. So... yeah. idk. Guess I'll figure it out soon. My status as a Trusted Artist is now in question, just as a heads up to remain completely and absolutely transparent.

So I'm just putting this out there, because someone took it upon themselves to make a strong effort to have me removed from Trusted-Artists because of my XIIIs, stating that they are just a recolour of Nanaki [more commonly referred to as Red XII from the Final Fantasy series]. Ok. Perhaps at first glance, if you don't pay attention to what the XIIIs are, it would appear that is the case. I've made no secret that my XIIIs were inspired by Red. So... yeah. That's... just a heads up, both on my current questionable Trusted Artist status, and the XIII species.

Now that that's taken up a ton of time [that I don't currently have], I'll take this opportunity to update! As I said in a previous post, I am hustling to catch up and am still slated to have everything complete this week! [So.. estimate by Sunday you should have your _____ delivered to you! While I'm still struggling with... consciousness, I'm pushing myself to get things done. I have 2 SHALE's and 1 Chip left to complete, and they've been a bit more difficult for me as I need to edit my linework and I just can't really... do that right now ;-; I TRIED... but I'm still pretty weak and the whole... falling asleep constantly thing doesn't really... make lining things easy ;-; BUT I'M TRYING! REALLY HARD!

Hey all [: I've been conscious long enough, time for an update!

I have been given the all clear, no more pneumonia! Huzzah! HOWEVER, I'm suffering from something called post pneumonia fatigue or something
Which basically means I have been asleep since roughly Monday ;-;
[Is this what narcoleptics feel like? Cuz it fucking SUCKS]

I've tried going for a walk, I've tried running, I've tried doing a SUPER low key workout, all things that typically fill me with energy but... to no avail. So.. after even more tests [I am a fucking pincushion right now], I'm basically being told just to wait it out.

ANYWAY, some of you have been waiting for your SHALE and//or Circuit WEEKS at this point. I'm gonna put up some adopts that I've got no real use for and refunding you all. At LEAST until this chronic fatigue goes away. Because holy shit, I can't get anything done ;-; I mean, you're totally welcome to continue waiting, but I feel like shit for making you wait this long. I AM STILL ALIVE! My Dr. has given me the go ahead to go back to work tomorrow, though... I probably won't be able to manage. I still feel rotten... but hey, at least I'm in the clear, now ^^

I TRIED to draw last night, even went so far as to stream for a bit, but... yeah... that didn't work out >_< Still, I'm going to try again, tomorrow I am SO fucking eager to get back to drawing... I miss it ;-; [Who'd have thunk]

SO yeah, pneumonia, BUT I'M GETTING BETTER!

Meds are definitely working. I've had, like, 48757 Dr. appointments BUT I've stayed out of the hospital [which they were totally threatening] and yeah, I can at least breathe, now, without feeling like I'm inhaling burning embers mixed with shards of glass! Woohoo!

I estimate I'll be "up" [I've seriously been asleep for days] and back in the swing of things in a couple of days

So my condition has worsened to the point that I am heading to urgent care right now. I feel just... rotten.
