Comic Pages *OPEN FOR 2*
General | Posted 9 years agoAnyone interested in a comic page? I'm really enjoying drawing them :x idk really what to price them at. I've done them for as little as $40 and as much as $140. The $40 was too low and the $140 scared me [x So I need to figure out a middle ground d: I was thinking as a sort of introductory thing, $65 for flats, $100 for shade, 4 panel minimum, at least one close up or internal, you provide a general idea [nothing too specific, these are still pretty wing-it style] and you provide any text. [complex markings or tattoos will add to the price, it'll vary tho, like if the character has a ton of markings and is in all 4 panels with all their glorious markings, it'll be more, if the markings are only shown partially or in full in one or two panels, it'll be less]
This will give me a few to mess around with and see how the pricing points work [as well as add some other options, like uncoloured//lined, maybe sketchy] compared to how much work I put in them. And how long they take me. I'll say that I can give an estimate of completion of about 1-2 weeks safely, 3 on the outside [probably for the shaded ones...]
So.. despite it not being Monday, I am inconveniently inspired and so... I guess I'll take3 2 comic pages.

Sorry for being so quiet, last week had a bit of a downward spin for me, so I haven't been around as much. My apologies! This week I should be around a bit more, HOWEVER! This week is going to be crazy w/the kids and school. Because of this, I will not be opening any commissions today//this week, because I know I won't be able to devote much time to them! So no traditional comms [like I ever open those, anyway [x ], no IA's, no QuickBatch's, and no [new thing!!!] Comic Pages!
Yeah, I decided to make comic pages a thing. Cuz I really enjoy doing them. I've got a couple of new examples I worked on last week that I'll be finishing up today//tomorrow and I'll upload them They'll be minimum 4 panels, lined and flat coloured [shading WILL be an option, as will a black and white lined page, or even a b&w shaded sorta deal. idk. I haven't really worked out the details, yet x:] They'll be SEMI custom, meaning you give me a general theme and I run with it. Max 2 characters, I think... fitting a 3rd would give me less room to work with if I wanna keep the 4 panel thing. BEAR IN MIND these will NOT be telling much of a story. They're going to mainly just be various perspectives of you guys fucking d:
Uhm.. hmm.. Think that's it. Since I'm not opening comms, I WILL be putting up a premade MALE XIII, a premade MALE SHALE and a CUSTOM female XIII throughout the week. Along with finishing up and uploading the stuff I worked on last week. And answering the notes I haven't yet gotten around to responding to. FUN TIMES!!! And I'm going to TRY to find some time to stream. Ugh. I miss those 10 hour stream sessions ;-;

General | Posted 9 years agoSo despite being a total fucking idiot today, I managed to get most of what I'd planned to get done, done. I wanted to have everything lined and ready for flats tomorrow, but I still have ONE piece to line ;-;
...and of COURSE it's the one I fucked up on ._. [YES I'M SALTY]
But I'll line it in the morning, then get flats done. Theoreticaly, if I don't fuck up again, I should still be on schedule.
SPEAKING OF SCHEDULES

I realize this is a bit… weird… and probably feels very “factory” or whatever, it’s just how it works for me at this time. I like doing all of the same thing at once, then moving on to the next thing. That, plus with this particular method, you’ll know when your stuff is coming to you, and, let’s face it, it will really help me keep organized, which, in turn, should make you all much happier [Yay adhd!]

What this means for YOU, dear reader, is that I’m ONLY gonna be accepting comms and such on MONDAYS. And only a few at first, til I get in my groove. So if you have a super awesome idea, but it’s Wednesday, HOLD IT! I have a problem of not being able to say no [x SO just hold onto it If you wanna buy a scrap, you’re more than welcome to, until THOSE are gone, I’ll be squishing them into my schedule, BUT they’re going to be done in the following MONDAY batch, even if you buy it on a Tuesday, even if I have spare time//an empty queue, I have to stick to my method. Sorry if this is a pain in the dick ;-; Truly. I wish I could take on ALL of your comms, ALL the time, you guys have some awesome “yes lists” [x

I'll be largely unreachable Christmas Eve and Day, so I'll just say I'm taking them off. I still feel fairly confident I'll have everything done by then, so I can start off the Monday with a clean slate

But I'll line it in the morning, then get flats done. Theoreticaly, if I don't fuck up again, I should still be on schedule.
SPEAKING OF SCHEDULES
I've kinda figured out what I need to do.
SCHEDULE:
MONDAY: I’ll be taking commissions on Monday. I’ll be limiting myself to EIGHT to start with, since I feel fairly confident that I can do that with the schedule I’m setting up for myself
TUESDAY: I’ll be sketching aforementioned commissions. They’ll be sent to you for approval. If they’re approved, I’ll accept payment and move it on to the lining phase!
WEDNESDAY: I’ll be lining the approved sketches. This is the longest part of my “process”, so Wednesdays are gonna be crap for me [x I will probably NOT be very communicative Wednesdays! Linework will be sent out to you, just as an update, before I go to bed at some ungodly hour after finishing them all [; If you commed me for lines, this is when you can expect your piece to be delivered! Yay!
THURSDAY: Flats time! All linework will coloured, markings added, etc. If your comm is only to flats tier or coloured sketch, you’ll get your piece this day! Huzzah!
FRIDAY: Shading and lighting day. A.K.A. “I hate my life” day! Final step before I take the weekend off to do personal crap or be lazy d: All full pieces will be delivered this day!
FRIDAY 2.0: Along with finishing off whatever commissions that I’ve got left, I’ll also be opening up whatever YCHs I’ve got planned. They’ll close on MONDAY or TUESDAY so that they can be started with that weeks “batch”
I realize this is a bit… weird… and probably feels very “factory” or whatever, it’s just how it works for me at this time. I like doing all of the same thing at once, then moving on to the next thing. That, plus with this particular method, you’ll know when your stuff is coming to you, and, let’s face it, it will really help me keep organized, which, in turn, should make you all much happier [Yay adhd!]
OBVIOUSLY I have kids and a job and all that, so delays are possible, which is another reason why I’ve scheduled nothing for Saturday//Sunday. So that I have those days to play catch up if I need to. This is for me as much as it’s for you! [*cough* -momvoice- THIS HURTS ME MORE THAN IT HURTS YOU. ONE DAY YOU’LL THANK ME] Some weeks, I’ll have nothing to do, some weeks, I’ll have a ton to do. That’s alright with me I have a metric ton of personal crap I wanna do, but don’t have time, so this’ll ease some pressure for me, too I wanna continue loving drawing dicks and pussy [x The last thing I wanna do is get burnt out, or set off a downward spiral.
What this means for YOU, dear reader, is that I’m ONLY gonna be accepting comms and such on MONDAYS. And only a few at first, til I get in my groove. So if you have a super awesome idea, but it’s Wednesday, HOLD IT! I have a problem of not being able to say no [x SO just hold onto it If you wanna buy a scrap, you’re more than welcome to, until THOSE are gone, I’ll be squishing them into my schedule, BUT they’re going to be done in the following MONDAY batch, even if you buy it on a Tuesday, even if I have spare time//an empty queue, I have to stick to my method. Sorry if this is a pain in the dick ;-; Truly. I wish I could take on ALL of your comms, ALL the time, you guys have some awesome “yes lists” [x

Third! Unless I've told you in the past 24 hours that I'll take on your IA or QuickBatch, I'm NOT taking any more until I've at least lined the stuff in my queue! So a couple of days d: EXCEPTIONS are shit that's already sketched out and in the BUY ME folder [ https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery...../274306/BUY-ME ] d; I've had decent turnaround lately and I'd like to KEEP it that way IF I get done with everything by Wednesday or Thursday, I MAY open up for one or three more. Fourth! Kids are home for vacation, I'm working half at home, half at work because of it. MEANING my communication will be sporadic, at best, during the day! Early morning and night will likely be when I'm most able to talk [PST] Theoretically, I should be able to get more done, faster being more home. Flip side of that, kids are ALSO home so I can't very well ignore them in favour of drawing dicks and mare pussy [x So we'll see after the first day or three what sort of balance I'm able to work out!
