Song titles that seem wrong for the said artist
Posted 14 years agoRandom joke idea, name an artist and then make up a song title for a fake song that the artist would never make. Some of mine:
Al Green "Touch my pipi"
Garth Brooks "Black power"
Soulja Boy "For the love of music"
Louie Armstrong "Fuck Jazz"
LL Cool J "Around the way man"
Rick James "D.A.R.E."
Gil Scott Heron "KKK (is okay with me)"
James Brown "Can't Dance"
NWA "Hug da police"
Eminem "No Complaints from me"
Rebecca Black "Rebecca in deep thought"
Earth Wind and Fire "Depression"
That's all I got now :p

King Vulture EP (LaDerelict)/Remix project
Posted 14 years ago
LaDerelict just released a 5 track Ep consisting of experimental bassy synth tracks. Here: www.kingvulture.ca
So far, "Maelstrom" is my favorite one!
He's also looking for beatmakers out there to remix a track, I'm currently unable to due to my Korg's cdrw being messed up. (I've only been working with vinyl)
We're also gonna work on a EP :)

Posted 14 years ago
Miyabisan His tracks have so much feeling, great vibes. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6996670/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6551737/
Inculta A grimey beatmaker, is all about Hip Hop's rawness, I love how dirty and dark his beats sound, be on the lookout for a collab between us soon. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7013806 http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6374367/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6198743/
Flarethedragon Another raw beatmaker, dirty drums, bassy jazzy BOOM BAP beats! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6565931/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6418141/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6054845/
Chibiknight What can I say, I think this dude is very talanted but gets overlooked around here, he's also got rhymes! His makes both original and sampled based beats with chill vibes http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5594293/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5551303/http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5352600/
I've been thinking about doing a free beat project to give more exposure to beatmakers on this site, I also think it would be fun putting everyones beats together, YOU GOTTA BE GOOD AT MAKING BEATS THOUGH!
The Los Angeles Clippers
Posted 14 years agoSo after going through so much as a long time Clippers fan
Lamar Odom (I got his jersey in 2004)
Michael Olowokandi (Candy man was a pretty cool nickname, but that's it)
Corey Maggette (I called him Corey Spaghetti)
Shaun Livingston (SHAUN, DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO LAND AFTER YOU JUMP???)
Injuries, bad picks, INJURIES. (Blake Griffin had me worried)
There is hope that this franchise will turn around, I wanted to keep Eric Gordon in the Chris Paul trade, but I guess they didn't want to give up the oppertunity of having two stars on the team.
I feel real bad about the Trailblazers, they have had so much bad luck that I think they are cursed. :(

LET'S START A CRAIG MACK ICON MEME! lol
Posted 14 years agoMACKALICIOUS B!

BOYEEEEEEE
Joking aside, Craig Mack is an awesome emcee, you might remember him for his song "Flava in ya ear" and as one of the first artists in Puff Daddy's Bad Boy label. He was overshadowed by the success of Biggie Smalls. I think Puffy missed out by not having him on the label, maybe Puff Daddy was trying to change his style or music direction and Craig Mack wasn't having it. Either way, I've been listening to his second album "Operation: Get Down" and I am LOVING IT! I can't stop listening to "Sit Back & Relax"
The beats are smooth, Craig Mack's rhyme delivery is unique, and I like the singing in the songs. It's not the same raw funky hip hop that everybody expected from his first album but it's still knocks IMO.
Anyways, I hope you guys are having a good Thanksgiving!
Much Love to you!!

My Album Cover Idea involving you
Posted 14 years agoI'm getting a lot of tracks done for my album, they all have the early to mid 90's sound that you hear from A Tribe Called Quest, so when I was thinking about possible album covers for this album, I immediately thought about A Tribe Quest's "Midnight Marauders" album cover that featured the faces of a lot of people involved in the Hip Hop community, check it out:

So I thought it would be cool to do the same thing with you guys :) lol
The only problem is, I don't know how to go about it LOL
Oh well, it's just an idea I had lol

LET ME SHOW YOU HOW HIP HOP STARTED IN 1912
Posted 14 years agoHip Hop originated in 1912 on the famous ship known as the Titanic when a dog saved an immigrant mouse from being eaten by a cat.
He pioneered Hip Hop when he immediatelty broke into a rap song about "PARTY TIME!"
This inspired DJ's 60 years later to beat juggle drum breaks in the Bronx which emcees began to rhyme over.
It's safe to say that hip hop groups like the Sugar Hill gang, Run DMC, A Tribe Called Quest, and the Wu Tang Clan wouldn't exist without this rapping dog.

Is there a better word than "Furry"?
Posted 14 years agoI was thinking of "Anthroist", has anybody said that before? lol
It's more universal than "Furry", because it's not restricted to fur. I just can't identify with "Furry", it feels....I don't know..bleh...
I also don't identify with the cuteness thing a lot of furries seem to do, where are all the badass looking suits?
Just the way I feel, anybody feel the same?
Maybe I'm just too "mundane" for this LOL
