So I moved today. Holy damn. I... I love having my own little bit of personal space again. This is so fucking nice. It's been 4 goddamn years since I have had a room of my own OR a bed.

I don't quite have everything where it goes yet but for the most part it's all in order. Missing a few things, like my oil paintings I did in highschool. Really wanna hang those up on the chimney pillar thing that goes up through my apartment. Eventually I can get some weeaboo anime fag stuff to hang up. It'll be nice.

I think I'm looking forward to having people visit the most. Man. I am just so happy and chill right now. x3

First and foremost no I am not moving to a new account. I am happy with this one. I am actually moving to a new apartment! Holy god I know. This is so awesome. My parents are gonna be helping me get my life together. Most of the credit goes to my dad. He's the superintendent of a huge house that is divided up into a bunch of apartments and he's gonna let me have one of the economy apartments on the top floor. I get till my birthday in April to get my GED and job and start paying for the apartment myself or I get kicked out. I really hope this ends up working out. I'll be moving over there tomorrow :3

So. Mohegan Sun is a casino. They do stuff there other than gambling. At the Arena. Concerts and cool shit like that. Turns out they have ANOTHER cool place. And it is at THIS cool place... That I will be spending Halloween night (kinda).

At midnight. They are showing Rocky Horror. For free.

I am so fucking psyched. Going with my most bitchin' uncle, Heath. Not planning on dressing up or anything cuz I'm a noob and haven't known long enough (and FurFright also made me go broke so there's no money for a costume anyway) Whatever! Hopefully I'll meet some people :o

So. FurFright was amazing. Furry cons are excellent. And everyone was so supremely nice. I don't think I met a single jerk or asshole. There was one dude who was really REALLY drunk but he was a funny drunk. Many fursuiters were hugged though I think my favourites were the moose, the scary spear-wielding hyena with the horns and hooves, and the nice-smelling skunk with the squishy tail.

Saturday and Sunday (mostly Sunday) were prolly the highlights, though there were the fursuit breakdancers on Friday. Saturday was spent wandering around with  WeissVicious,  VoodooWolf, and one of her friends. We spent a while talking with some artists in the Dealer Dungeon, though nearly all that time was at the wonderful table of the wonderful  razzek. Ended up getting the cutest pic of Princess Peach and Bowser. It fills me with happy whenever I look at it. I spent a long time up in the videogame room on saturday, too. Watched someone play some Sonic Unleashed. The speed stages were pretty cool. Then I ended up playing Rock Band with some great guys. Then... It was off to midnight Rocky Horror with furries. Most excellent.

I also commissioned a badge on Saturday from  Farellemoon. The Bondage Badge was too good to resist. When I went to pick it up on Sunday she invited Weiss and I to hang out later for a sketch party. That was extremely awesome and made my night. Before the sketch party. Weiss and I wandered a bit and I found some guys in the atrium playing some shmups on a laptop. Ended up hanging around with them. Talked DnD and games and crazy fun stuff (ROBOGEISHA!). Turns out one of the guys was  odendo! A very pleasant surprise, I do say. He draws the cutest dragons and it was nice meeting him.

Around 9 I headed up to the sketch party, Weiss was hanging with a nice couple we had met earlier. Turns out Razz was at the party, as well as HollyAnn. It was very laid back and awesome. I was very much out of my shell of nervousness and not talking that tends to come with meeting new people. Farelle was once again very awesome and even gave me a sketchbook. It will be used only for furry cons and is one of those fancy themed sketchbooks (I decided on plushies xP). Weiss came up and hung with us for a bit, too. Laughs were had by all and it was excellent.

After the sketch party, I went and tracked Weiss down again (he had left early to give a drawing to X and Serina, the couple we had met earlier). We ended up spending the rest of the night with them. Tried to track down some parties, but none were found. We ended up just wandering and talking, still very nice. Ended up leaving around... 3:00 a.m. Stopped at a gas station and picked up some munchies, which promptly exploded when I tried to open the bag. Weiss is gonna be finding Crunch 'n' Munch in his car for a few weeks, I bet |3. Got home at 4-ish and collapsed into some nice sleep.

After all this, I am dead set on going to more cons and nothing will stop me *evil laugh goes here*

Ok so. On July 6th, I started painting a house for my dad. My entire reason for doing this was for a PS3. I painted that house until like July 30th for 3 to 5 hours a day, taking a few off here and there. The PS3 was ordered. And it finally came in. I am so damn excited. I even got my brother to play BlazBlue with me.
Speaking of, that game is SO AWESOME. I can't wait to actually start learning how to properly kick ass with some of the characters. Definitely gonna romp around story mode a little bit, too. Because I am a sucker for story mode. But that has to wait 'till tonight because people watch tv in the living room 'till like... 10 at night, 9 on a good day (for me lol) So I've got a while to wait. Still. Excited!

Today was a good day. Mmhm. *nods*

I was kinda tired of that other thing being the journal on my front page and I'm a bit bored at the moment... so I figured a journal was in order.

Things... are actually good! I've spent the last like... 3 weeks at my dad's house. I've missed out on hanging with friends, but the tradeoff is I am making money here. Painting a house for my dad so I can get money for a PS3 so I can play my copy of BlazBlue that I bought on launch day because I am a nerd that buys games for systems she doesn't even own yet. Fun! I've made enough money for the system, though. Go me.

Also: possibly a con in October! FurFright is like... an hour and a half away from me. Extra money from the painting will go to admission and hotel and random furry junk from the con! God it's exciting. I had no idea there was a con in Connecticut. If I go, I'm definitely gonna be going with  WeissVicious, my scary wolf friend that I've known since 8th grade.  Voodoowolf is prolly gonna be coming with us as well. And that's all the furry people I know in meatspace, haha.

On the downside (cuz there's always a downside, I guess lol) I am nearly out of paper in my sketchbook. Guess I'll bug daddy dearest for some printer paper if I run out before I go back to my mum's house. Kinda feel like writing, too. Most likely about Gwen and Orion because they're cute.

Well I guess that's it. Time to listen to more Demetori and think a bit about Gwen and Orion's story.

I'm subjecting myself to a theme challenge. Nothing like the supermassive art orgy that is the 100 Theme Challenge, though. Only 10 for this one :D
Well~ Here we go.

Original Character Theme Challenge.

This is for any kind of character, be it manga/anime, furry, animal, plant, whatever.
This is a challenge to draw one of your chars in ten different pics. The goal is to see how far you can go to make your character looking different, but still able to tell who it is.
If your char happens to be one of these already, then make your char more dynamic in his/her’s own elements, or what I have put for you otherwise.
Also try to go out of your comfort zone of what your drawing. Any art is good art.
(You should try to have it in color… make it interesting to the eyes.)


The different themes:

1. Opposites
-draw your character either as the opposite gender doing something they normally do, or do a “angel vs. demon” or “black vs. white” type drawing, but, of course, the same character.

2. Thing of Nature
-make your char look as if it was one with nature, being where your char likes it the most. (Ex. Vines, trees, rocks, earth)

3. Cyborg or Thing of a Machine
-Your character should be with some sort of machinery around him/her/it, or be part of it. Make it the center point of the picture.

4. The Element of Fire
-Have your char engulfed by flames, surrounded by them, or controlling them. Something to do with F.I.R.E, and it the main part of the picture.

5. The Element of Water
-(same as Fire)

6. The Demon Inside or The Animal In Me
-Draw your character as something out of hell, or if it already is that, then draw him/her as the animal he/she would be. Or draw your character a lot more demonic than he/she really is.

7. Seasons
-Draw your char in his/her favorite season, showing the signs that it is that season. (or you can draw all 4 seasons)

8. Light
-Make your char “heavenly”, as if he/she came from heaven, or just draw a picture with a lot of light. (Ex. In a cave with bright, glowing lights, in the forest where the light is showing through)

9. Death
-Draw your char in pain, things sticking out and what not, being barely alive, or dead.

10. Realistic
-Draw your char realistically, and if your char is already that, then draw them cartoony or in a manga style. You choose.


All of these drawings should be of the same character, no switching.
