.:Terms of Service:.
Posted 12 years agoThese are the rules to abide by if you would like to commission me.FursuitsWarranty: There is a 90 day free limited warranty coverage. After 90 days there will be small fees for repairs and fixes. The warranty is nulled and voided if the item has been abused or used improperly; if the item has been altered in anyway; if the item is soiled or has a smell, and has not been cleaned properly prior to return.
If you require the costume to withstand above average wear, (LARP combat, rough housing, use on rough terrain, dancing, etc.), please notify me so that I can quote and construct appropriately.
Returns: If, for a sensible reason (I reserve the right to determine if the reason is sensible), you are not satisfied with the work, you can return, and credit the value for the item for another item or the balance (minus the down payment) refunded. The refund may be in installments or a full lump sum depending on the situation.
I reserve the right to re-sell any item returned for an exchange, or refund as is, or alter the item in any way I so choose. Items must be in the best possible condition, within warranty conditions, in order for a refund or exchange to be issued. I do NOT issue refunds, partials or full, on works once COMPLETED. Upon approval, the project becomes final.
Commissioning: Quotes are valid for 4 months after the day they are given. If your down payment (50%) is not received by the end of 4 months (keep in mind, payment does not have to be one lump sum. It can be separate, as long as the amount accrues to the 50% down payment.) you will need to re-contact me to inquire if it will be a different amount than what it initially was quoted. Once the down payment is received, your price is 'set and locked' and cannot be changed.
Shoes MUST be provided. This is to ensure that the feet paws fit correctly and comfortably. If you have non to provide, I can see about getting some slippers at an added cost to the quote.
You get 1 MAJOR alteration and 3 MINOR alterations once the project is started.
If there are any important features in the concept art, please NOTIFY me. I will try to make the project as close to the concept art as I can. Please keep in mind that not all aspects and features of the concept art can be possible to reproduce due to human proportion, human flaw, limitations of materials, and limitation of physics. Significant alterations will be discussed with you before the project is made.
I will only require a duct tape dummy for full suits and muscle suits. Partials, heads, hands, etc. can be made via measurements, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7541333/ , please provide measurements with no seam allowance, for I will do that myself. Tape measures should not be really tight, but should be comfortably slack against your skin when you take the measurements.
If you have a deadline, I will do everything in my power to meet it within the time allowed. However, I offer no guarantees for the date completion unless it is for a rushed order. Fursuits are finished in the order they are received. Any rushed orders will be charged a rush fee, based on how soon they are needed and how many other rush orders are in the queue at the time.
I reserve the right to turndown any rush orders or unreasonable deadlines. I also reserve the right to cancel any commission at any stage of the process if the commissioner is rude, threatening, harassing, or otherwise unreasonable. The customer may cancel at anytime. The balance (minus the down payment) can be refunded or the full amount can be credited towards another project. I reserve the right to complete the cancelled project any way I choose and sell or auction it.
I will NOT reproduce copyrighted characters, costumes, or designs without prior written consent of the company or individual who owns the character or design. As with many other commissioners there are certain lines that we will not or cannot cross. Therefore, some projects may be refused. If I refuse a project, the customer will be notified with reasons included.
Concept Art: There are 3 forms of concept art I will accept.
1)Artistic Freedom: Basically you give me a rough idea and some pictures of what kind of markings you'd like to see and I make something creative.
2)Text Description: Not the greatest, but fine to give. I just can't guarantee that the outcome will be the same as what you and I are seeing. This method is good for people who want their character, but don't have anything specific in mind.
3)Character Reference: Most likely the best option. A good, non-messy, non-sketchy 3 point turn around of your character. This is the best way where I can achieve to produce every detail to your liking.
I will NOT accept MULTIPLE references. (Ex: This pic for the feathers, this pic for the nose horns, this pic for the fur...)
Shipping: Shipping prices are determined on a case by case bases as an ADDITIONAL fee to the agreed final cost and will depend on box size and weight. Which then leaves this to be determined at the very end. Your item will NOT be shipped until the entire project is paid in full, including shipping. I will hold the project for 45 days, I reserve the right to sell the project and you forfeit your down payment.
Once you receive your package from Bagel Beagle Productions, I am NOT responsible for any shipping costs on return items. The customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs.
If your package arrives damaged, DO NOT open or unpack the box. Please inform and contact me immediately and I will contact the shipping company, who will send out an agent to collect the package and take it to the inspection center. The damage will be assessed and the package returned to me so that I can repair the item or otherwise deal with it. There is no other way to claim the insurance. Please follow this procedure, otherwise, failure to cooperate and comply will void the warranty. Over seas procedures are different, but I ask that you still contact me immediately upon seeing damage to the box. Packages will be insured up to full value.
Payment: I currently accept paypal, cash, and cashier checks. Make sure the check and/or cash is securely enclosed with in a protective envelope, (http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/Sta....._sc7?$splssku$). I am NOT responsible for lost checks and cash in the mail, for I have no control over the mailing system.
If you do not pay your monthly fees in accordance to out payment plan agreement and do not keep a strong e-mail communication/contact, I reserve the right to cancel your project and refund what you have paid towards the project, minus the down payment (50%). The down payment is non-refundable. If for any reason something comes up that keeps you from being able to pay, simply e-mail me explaining your situation. Failure to do so will be a result of me assuming you decided not to pay anymore and your project will be cancelled. If this occurs, you will be notified.
Stuffed AnimalsWarranty: There is a 1 year warranty after the project is completed. This is a free limited warranty coverage. After the year is up there will be small fees charged for repairs.
