Greetings & Salutations people.

Around august/september my Cintiq 21UX sadly broke down, and after much figruing out to fix it, I came to the realisation that Its probably better just move on and buy a wholly new one. So after making as many commissions as I could, before its eventual death, and some careful savings I managed to buy myself a brand new Drawing monitor.

Huion Kamvas 22 Plus, it's been different, but not in a bad way at all. It just takes some time to warm up to it.

It is a bit silly to get attached to piece of equipment, but it was kinda sad to see my old one give away. Well anyway lets not get too somber, rest well my degenerate friend, we made plenty of pieces together! I am hopeful that this one last me for many years to come.

I will be resuming commissions as soon as possible. Meanwhile I'll do some warm up doodles and post what lil' traditional stuff I was doodling all the while.

Another milestone looms over, which is exciting~ I accidentally passed the 1000th submission milestone, by bombarding so many doodles. Which by the way seem to have been received a lot better than I thought! Thank you all who went around lookin' at them and leavin' feedback~

Is kiriban still a thing? if so, then that is something to look forward to :D

Other than that, I'll strive to work on the commissions I still have sitting in the backburner, and other quicker doodles in-between.

I had an amazing trip in the Netherlands, I've been wanting to visit the place for so long now. I went all around the place too! Meeting friends, old and new and just seeing the country's different regions. Truly exciting times were had.

I am very grateful for all my hosts, that I was allowed to couch surf at! Hopefully I can visit soon again~

Now its back to normalcy and time to pick up things again, even though Midsummer's eve is just around the corner.

Focusing on some commissions just overall trying to have fun with art :D

So my birthday came and went, and its the start of a new whoooole year. Turned 32 yesterday, didn't seem to have much time to write a journal about it.

Work goes well, and it does keep me busy, still some commissions on my queue that needs doing, a lot of ideas just flood my mind, and I've really had fun to just do quick sketches / doodles rather than fully rendered pictures. One reason I've had some trouble getting my mind set on making proper commissions.

The poll stuff was exciting and fun, and I'll be doing more of those as well, if people are interested in it? I'd be happy to hear suggestions if something needs changing and such.

That's about it really, toodaloos and hopefully this year will be fruitful!

These past few years seem to have gone in a flash almost.

I'm bad at writing journals in general, and forgot to make one for my birthday etc. But yes one year older again, and I've graduated from my study.

I've generally been getting back to finding employment, reaching out to different places and now waiting basically, one day at a time.

Meanwhile trying to get my queue done that has been chugging along for a while now, I'd like to thank you all who were in the queue for your patience and understanding!

After the queue is done, I have been thinking some prices and price changes to commissions, just to reflect on the parts that take longer to do.

Other than that, I ain't got much else to say, hoping for the best and fearing for the worst, eh?

What a year, its remarkable how much things can be fitted into it.

Of course I'm not gonna go listing all of it, some of it is more personal than others but the general gist of it is that I've made great progress focusing on my study. It is nearly over, only a few things need to be finished off. I did not anticipate myself focusing this hard into anything study related, but I suppose when things click in your mind, not much can be done about it.

The study has kept me ever so busy, and falling into a routine has eaten away at my creativity, that and some other things. In general this year was hardly fruitful when it comes to art, but it certainly was for everything else. Luckily I've been able to do commissions at the later part of the year, and slowly pushed myself to draw, and I really feel good about that.

I won't have time to post things yet, but I'll be dumping all manners of doodles from 2022, come the new year. Once I've worked my old commission list, which admittedly has been on ice for nearly a year ( Thank you all for understanding! ) I'll be taking in a new batch, and hopefully this time I'll be having less distractions and other shenanigans happening.

In other news, at the beginning of this year I started dabbling in game design with Unity, but due to the wacky stuff around the summer I haven't really felt like touching Unity. I am looking for other ways to dabble some more.

I'm not even going to try and comment on the things that are going on in the world as of right now, with each passing year the world seems to get wackier and harder to comment at all.

So as it happens, today is my 30th birthday. It feels a little weird but a great milestone I suppose. I'm a boomer/grey muzzle now then?

A lot did happen between 20 and 30 I must say. I've spent a lot of time reflecting upon the experience, and learned what I can from them.
People come and go, you meet new ones and you lose some, I think that is life in its normal form.

I don't exactly have much else on my mind than my study and school projects that I'm working on. I'm not even one to really celebrate birthdays, but even I realise that 30 is something to celebrate.
Art certainly has been on a hiatus, at least the more refined pictures. I've doodled quite a bit into my school notebooks.

So all in all, not much has changed during my time at my study. It keeps me plenty busy, and as I mentioned previously I've stopped dragging my Cintiq to the campus.
But I feel like even the weekends when I'd have the time to draw it all goes to other things.

Regardless I hope you the reader will have a good time today, even if the world currently is in a bit of a turmoil.

Greetings!

I know I haven't been posting too much, School has kept me rather busy, and I haven't felt all that creative after having such a nice run earlier. At one point I stopped dragging my Cintiq back and forth between campus and home, just so it won't get damaged or scratched etc. SO I haven't even had any means to create digital stuff for a month and more. This will change however as we near the summer and my internship will start, I'll be hanging back at home for a long time.

I get to catch up some art I've been wanting to try out. Maybe open up commissions too~ should people be interested. But all in all, studies have progressed well and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Still feels like it would be march. I have sketched and doodle here and there whenever the situation allowed me, and I've posted some now.

But this is how my plans are going for the summer, I hope its going to be warm, and lovely soon. Snow has overextended its welcome.

March is here again, and so too will I be turning another year in my life. It's been a good start of the year for myself, the new study is going really well actually, and I've gotten to doodle some more things and doing a bit of experimenting. I got some ideas for the next few submissions, and I hope ye'll enjoy 'em. All in all I've been enjoying my time alone and when gaming with friends.

Too bad from henceforth my studies will go long distance, so I get to sit around zoom calls and such, I don't know if my focus will keep onto that, and not go to say drawing some furry stuff on the side :´D but we shall see. Only time will tell anyway at this point, but I'd rather be at the campus and classrooms to learn things.

But other than that there is not much to say or update ye, life goes on and we're on a collision course with summer. Let's all keep our focus and try to enjoy the little things in life. <3

Well that was a milestone that went by, I was keeping an eye on the numbers for a bit and let it be on itself. For a few days straight  KuroFurryFox held the 1000th Watcher title.

BUT to all who happen to come up on this journal and is a Watcher of mine, I'd like to give you the chonkiest Thank You, to each and all of you!! A milestone is a milestone, regardless how small or big~ and I for one feel extremely satisfied for this one. Now I'll turn my eye to the next milestone, that'd be the 2000 Watchers. Probably hitting that at around 2025ish.

Mm other than that, I'll be starting a new study, so commissions will remain closed, 'til things calm down and I can take a few every so often. I will still finish the ones on my list, don't worry~

What a year, hard to believe that it actually has an end. Unless this will be the world's first 1.13.2020

Who knows, All I know that I get to be thankful for a bunch of new friends and, surprisingly, a bunch of new people who enjoy seein' my art.
Huge thanks to all of you old watchers, and new watchers alike~ It is a pleasure to have you around.

Next year, I'll be getting into a new study, lookin' forward to them for sure! Artwise I will keep going at it, despite the busy studies. Commissions have been closed for a while now, December always is a rather busy time of the year for me. They will stay closed 'til I find some time in-between the studies to do them at a nice pace :3 I have a few still in the queue, which I plan to finish up after New Years.
During the studies I'll see if I can make a journal for some requests and stuff to see what people would like to see. Just gauge at things~

That's about all major stuffs really, glad to have ye here and hopefully things will start calming down next year.

Here's to hoping at the very least. Hope ye all will have a relaxing and peaceful time from henceforth~

As mentioned, I'll be off fer a while. Gonna go fer a trip fer a few weeks, so I'll pipe down on uploads here!

I don't do journals often, but it's been a crazy time with the global pandemic and whatnot. Luckily me and my circles have been able to evade it so far.
One thing did surprise me though, the amount of commissions people have been orderin' from me!

Hello to you Watcher, old or new ones!

I set off to go on a spontaneous visit abroad, where I was planning to stay for a couple of weeks but ended up spending more than a month! Oopsies, it happens when yer having too much fun. I explored around, met new people and even joined a LARP even out of the blue 'cuz why not. Seein' as I enjoy roleplaying LARP always fascinated me in some sense :D and boy was it interesting, but I will reroll my character for sure next time!

Other than that, I don't think I have much else to say really. Just to explain my absence from FA I suppose. It was lovely to return home though, and seein' new watchers and a boat load of favourites. Thank ye all so very much!! I have been sketching and doodling some stuff abroad in my sketch books, which I will proceed to upload, and after that I'll be getting back to digital arts.

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer in some way, I sure have. Now its only looking up to the spookiest time of the year and the eventual winter. Gloomy dark and (hopefully) cold times are ahead, but let's not dwell on that right now, instead enjoy the warmth we still have!

So hooo boy, I managed to get myself a Cintiq 21UX!! it is all thanks to those who have commissioned pictures from me, and I can't thank ye enough! It has certainly boosted my morale to doodle even more~ Though as I have stated in some of the recent pictures that now many of my new pieces might look a bit wonky as I am trying to get used to this. It is way different than my old tablet, it did break my heart to shelf my old tablet but I think 12 or so years is a good lifespan for a tablet :D

Rest easy pardner, I'll miss you. Aside from this major ass news, I don't have much else to update really. Life goes on, Summer is here finally. Commissions on the line, and some other stuff too. Somehow I gotta fit in some of my own doodles as well.

On other news I've gotten myself some employment in the form of gig's 'round kitchens and the like. Which is cool and at least something right? I'll be workin' with some project from here on out, so I might be postin' a lil' slower fer a while. I've got a trade comin' up too, so that's exciting!

Other than that, it's business as usual. Vidya games, doodles and now work. Time is flyin' already.

Ahoy 'vry one! I'm back from my travels and once again sittin' neatly at my PC. 'Twas a lovely time to be away from it all and spending time with the family and loved ones B3 But as everything life it all comes to an end at some point. And now I gotta get back to the routine of job hunting, doodling and gaming.

Hopefully even losing some weight this year who really knows?

Nonetheless I'd like to thank all new Watchers and the loads of Faves i got during my absence! It made me realize I'm not far off from 20k and nearly a whopping 1000 watchers! Bonkers~

but with that 20k views nearin' I think its time for that one thing called a kiriban? if anyone even does it anymore :D But I know I will.

Other than that, its just getting back to the routine of life, blech. I hope this year will be more pleasant in that department and I hope y'all have a wonderful year.

A year gone by once more, and I'm ready to spend my holidays far away from PC's and such and the like, yes.

Spendin' it with the family and eventually celebrating the new years with my ol' buddy-o-pal: it's gonna be a good time all 'round.

I'll resume my doodlin' whenever I get back around January, maybe nab few games off the steam sales who knows~ I don't have much on my mind while writing this, as I'm in the middle of packing and all that whatnot, and my ride will be here very soon.

So all in all, I know I'll be having a great time for the end of the year, and the start of the next one. So I do hope all ye who read this will have an enjoyable time. No matter how one chooses to spend it!

On my last journal I was asking if anyone wanted to have a freebie, but no one really raised up for the occasion, so I figured I'd make a journal directly about it.

So, let me know yer suggestion. I think this kinda thing is first come, first served, so drop me a suggestion and I'll doodle it durin' the week. It can be anything really, yer sona/character or just some popular character fanart :3

So the summer has kinda passed, and we are starting to look to the dank future that lies in front of us. Or at least for the finns, its gonna start getting a whole lot darker from here on out. But it's not necessarily a bad thing, some peeps even like it. It certainly has been somewhat of an emotional roller coaster for the past month, but I'm starting to get back on track again.

Unemployment and job hunting still going stronk, but I thank all those who has commissioned me so far. It does help :3

I was also wondering what kind of stuff people, or more specifically, ye the Watchers would like to see more? I've been thinking about it and I really would like to know some feedback. Should I do more fan art like Digimen or Pokemen etc. Or keep doing more of my own characters and random shenanigans?

I have no problem with either of them, but just out of curiosity ;3 Speaking of which: I could use some outside influence to get my motivation rolling again. So if yer interested I could do one Freebie to anyone who'd be interested! I am also willing to do more commissions and trades.

I can't think of anything much to add, 'cept I will be upgrading my PC and technical stuff. Though not my tablet, it is old but dear to me even still!

Hoo-wee.

Time sure flies when yer constantly working, and then relaxing before getting to work again.

It's been busy time in the restaurant, we've had some special events like -20% off from purchases and so on, so busy bizy buzy.
I've had such a work schedule that I'm nearly always at work, I got a few hours during day and the night to do something I'd like, and well that has boiled down to just staring at youtube and then falling asleep.

I've made some doodles here and there though, trying to keep the skill warmed up, but at the end of the day I don't wanna risk breaking my wrist. After spinnin' Wok pans around it sure plays a part of nearly destroying my wrist!

I'm not entirely sure if I'll continue working there though, the conditions of the schedules and the boss herself is a bit of a nutcase.

In other news, I leveled up on the 7th of March again. Yay I wonder what neat stat upgr- Oh more anxiety and adult responsibilities?

All in all, I've had hard time balancing work and art at my current state, I do have a commission that I need to finish too but I don't wanna force it out. I do enough of poopy scraps already!

Boy what a start I'm off to.

Remember all that talk about jobs and stuff I had prior to Chrishmush? Yeah turns out I just landed a job, and I'm starting next Monday!! Damn it feels good, especially because I was actually invited to the job interview. What a weird time to live in.

And I'm not done yet! It also happens that I was asked into starting a relationship, by the fabulous finnish noodle  Chryseus !
I must say, I can't remember when my year kicked off so nicely ever in my life. It was a joyous moment~

So wiith all that off of me chest, I'll be wanting to get up to 25k pageviews this year :3

I'll be trying to be far more open about my art and just doodle what I like and not think too much of things. So expect to see something unexpected maybe? And from that I'd like to try out and do some trades or commissions this year. Setting up paypal and all that jazz, So all in all it should be a fun year!
