Where should I stand?
Posted 5 years agoIt is still worrying to know that what you studied for 4 years isn't what you really want to do for living.
TL;DR I've recovered from college semester and reworking the price sheet.
I love drawing. It's my norm that i felt comfortable with it, but that's the thing I'm worried. I should be putting what i learn in school to expand my arsenal and making it worth the resource I spent. The expectation my family have for me is also mounting with how much of my other life, this life, this furry contents I've been making for the past few years they didn't know exist. To be fair they probably trusted me with my decision, but they seem to not care for what I do in the first place. Our family bond is so loose that we could live on our own without sitting down at the dining table together for weeks. Maybe it's good for what I do here. Because making porn is illegal by our community law but here I am.
Enough drama, eh? Let's talk update.
It's summer time and I still got one more semester left on my degree. I've make up my mind to balance my off-school season to be 80% Furry content and 20% college folio building (which is a bad call). I love drawing and I mainly want to lived off of what I grew up with. It's likely for me to end up as a full-time furry artist (which my family is going to kill me for it) or i will be taking care/over of family business. that's that. Is it really an update? Come on!
I'm reworking my price sheet from three years ago, as well as the commission form to smooth out our commission process to be as informative as we can. the more you can fill it out, the less stress you will have over the whole process.
Additionally, while clearing up the old commission batch, I've cooked up many mini-series (and plans on continuation of what I've already posted).

Posted 7 years agoIt is another year. And I am less active than ever. To be honest, I never really have a passion for drawing in the first place. I picked up drawing when I was 12 with the help from my sister. I take drawing as some kind of escapism. I draw to kill time. I draw because I have nothing else to do. But as a human being that likes to master at something, I tried plenty and failed many times that my art came this far from where it all started. I used to have the motivation to be as good as some artist out there, Wolfy-nail, Fluff-Kevlar, and many artists that inspired me a decade ago were what I looked up to when I was still immature and fresh to the community. However, now I grew up and sees things differently. I am not saying that I will stop making art, but my goal changed. Maybe I just don't feel inspired at the moment, but I am less interested in this community than before. Maybe being an adult is more pressuring so I just can't enjoy making art. I should be doing something more rewarding than just making furry art. Just to let you all know.

Commission is back online and I am free myself up once again.
College schedule this coming semester isn't so bad but i might stuck with more workload and have more bad time management along with bad life decision.

I will try to approach drawing fanart more. Called me whatever, but I kinda need to step up my full shading game. you people seem to like more refined work than massive sketches dumping in the gallery.

Despite not attending any panel this year, but I have so much fun in Artist Alley! (and probably talked more than I should).
Got to met with awesome fuzzy people and fursuiter, I could never believed to met with my idol and I am glad that
shazzykatana dragged me to this unforgettable experience.
If you've missed to pick up your 5 dollar drunk doodle, please let me know so I can scan it and send it to you (or not. It is just 5 dollar, right ?)
And the rest of doodle with be slowly delivered as i got overdue paper to be completed.

I finally managed to get everything set up and ready for new tablet test run/calibration. Also purchased a new monitor (DELL u2515h) as an investment in long run.
My schedule this year ended up without using any tablet for drawing (Mostly 3D modeling and rendering) and more of a traditional drawing. So I guess I can use my tablet for drawing commission.
Will see how it goes

- I might stop taking commission after this coming weekend.
- Planning for new WACOM tablet

It is time of the year again that I have to getting back to "school" Ugh.. Since I am international student, I have to get ready for a flight and moving stuff into a dorm, getting to talk with new people(Wow fun !), and let them know how much of a degenerated furry I am. Posted 8 years agoThere is a plan on making YCH material and taking less commission slot. For now I am currently tackling more of the personal work and more NSFW stuff. More polishing and more time consuming. Fan art still be expected but surely commission may get a pause for a few moment.
