Does anyone know any counselor therapists for furries? I have not ok since 2021!

I've been trying to find people willing to help me, but they just aren't trained counselors. And it's not like they want to handle my mental baggage! They just want to sweep it under the rug and keep having fun inflating bigger and bigger!

But how can a counselor know the specifics of living as an online furry? The Submissive vs Dominant or Switch dynamic. The constant fetish banter and teasing, yet I can't do it "correctly". The rePosting of artwork, how you do it in a polite way? Do I need to blow myself up bigger than the woooorld in order to feel connected with someone that *wants* to draw for me? How can a work provided counselor understand those problems, know the solutions?

I have problems with jealousy, the fetish specific banter in certain servers, maybe the need to feel popular or even just belong, not getting "enough" giftart. I appreciate any I got though! I'm lucky to get any gift art at all! Those asking for gift art get blocked, right?

I don't know what I'm not doing right in order to get what I want! Will somebody help me

beyond the platitudes like "I'm here for you" or "Hang in there you'll make it"? Will somebody help me get rid of these bottled up feelings I keep inside due to the need to behave and not ruin the funny with drama? We haven't been updating lately because my Artist Hewlett has been working on the Balloon-Dex Project, an archival art gallery for as much pokemon inflation art as we can get our hands on. It's actually coming along nicely.

Rrrrrr... Hewlett... also managed to get an IT job. I know I should be happy for him, but we have to wake up so early, and sleep so early. After driving an hour from work, we get about 2 hours before we have to go to bed to get our 8 hours. And that means less time to do art. Or even do stuff like cooking. And we're preparing for Christmas too, so the chances of commissions is very low right now.

And yet... he's actually noticeably happier. We're run ragged, but he doesn't care that I'm being selfish. He is thankful that his career is FINALLY getting somewhere. Gaining that pesky "previous experience" and learning that "balls over quals". I want Hewlett to be happy, but... this is pretty stressful.

We do get 3 days off though, but that's used on cooking mostly. (Oh yeah and some community college, but that one class is easy.)
I wonder how other people do it, cooking for themselves in general. We cook too much, the parents say.

TL;DR Dont cuss out art thieves! Show God's love and He will take care of the rest.

If you are a true fan of me and you see someone stealing my art, above all else do NOT cuss at them! It just makes people more mad than reasonable. Try to have pity on them. Show them God's love. And politely but firmly telling them to do the right thing.

I hardly know what "God's love " means in this context. I was hoping you'd figure it out. I can say that you can show love by not showing hate. Cussing is hatred. It raises emotions and they'll just hate you instead of correcting themselves!

Believe me, I'm pretty upset that they used my work without my permission. At time of posting, it feels like my act of kindness blew up in my face! It takes true strength to not do what the world usually does (sick my angry fans on the little guy). Talk to God and he can give you this strength.

Strength to see things from the thief's point of view. As blatant as they are, their rude attitude could hide a scared teenager or an adult that's given up on being lawful. There is reason to pity them before casting judgement on them.

There are consequences for crimes, but we can present the bitter medicine in a more palatable manner.

Ohhhh I wish I could hug yoou all! Hmmm I had wanted to release a multi-person YCH when I reached 500 watchers, but... Hewlett has been busy with school and work. It is a hard time for him and it's all I can do to keep his spirits up.

I've had to give up things so that Hewlett could do his daunting, complicated, dense homework. But he miraculously passed a test he hadn't studied for! School has been kept under control for now, but he's not relaxing, not even for Spring Break. Apparently one bout of laziness and he falls behind again.

But it looks like we won't be doing summer school! I'll get Hewlett to finish the framework for the YCH, and maybe I can convince him to not work at <Mail Dragonites> so much and open for commissions! I need your guy's help to convince Hewlett that people want to buy art from us!

I could ask at any time, but New Years seems to be the time to reassess goals. I've wanted to ask my audience occasionally what Hewlett should work on and resources for how to get there.

Hewlett wants to "make video games ", but that could mean literally 50+ things! Character concept art, background artist, gameplay programming, UI, UX, the list goes on! How can we find out what to learn if Hewlett wants to work at a game studio, or should he just learn to make 2d games, by himself?

And should we focus on moving out of parents house instead of career stuff? Living with parents has been a major source of stress. They argue a lot, and we find ourselves in a policy of "Keep them happy, so they leave me alone!" Maybe the desire to get a high paying job to move away, should take priority over being an artist for a living...

The mystery of career advancement bleeds into Hewlett's art goals too.
-I'm running the Balloon-Dex.org so that Hewlett is forced to learn code.
- My stickers are being made in Inkscape vector art, so that Hewlett can learn "Adobe illustrator" for job skills. Is vector skills even useful anymore? Maybe he should learn to sprite instead.
- We're always complaining we're not good at shading, despite what's in my gallery. But maybe Hewlett is good enough? Maybe I should only hold flat color and sketches if I ever get commissions? I don't advertise because Hewlett is always busy. But I sometimes take commissions if I'm asked. I'm just worried about how long it would take to finish it.

- I was lonely at New Years because I didn't have anywhere to go except my dysfunctional family. I wish I had a new family that I could share the dumb little midnight countdown with. And my social skills aren't the best, especially for career social networking. Maybe social skills and soft skills should be a higher priority than making art?

I am VERY conflicted in what to do to succeed at life!

...I think I'm done pouring out my heart in public today. If you actually read some of this wall of text, I appreciate you. And I'd appreciate you even more if you gave us useful advice! :D

I have been looking for days for this one anime where people get inflated by touching "gut-busting" fattening dumplings. It drove me crazy! But it looks like I was smart and had the video bookmarked in advance.

Here is is, from an obscure anime/OVA called "Kidou Shinmengumi Moeyo Ken" (WHAT a mouthful). Episode 11 specifically.

It's mostly huumans getting inflated, which isn't my thing, but a cat ghost and a panda get poffed too.

MMMMPH! We finally quit one of our twoo jobs! So I should be able to think a little clearly. But I think damage was done and Hewlett needs to see a councelor. I'll be figuring that out in the background. X(

I'd like to say that I'm opened for commissions, but Hewlett really wants to learn how to code for video games. He's serious. But I'm sure I can sneak in some small sketches into his schedule. Can't forget about those art skills!



Other then that, we had a good birthday, despite these uncertain times. Hewlett was brave and called some IRL friends that he hadn't spoken to in months. And yoou know what? They wanted to hang out that day! What bravery! Don't be afraid to call up old friends. Maybe they'll be happy to catch up, or even pretend yoou never drifted away!

Maybe I should give an update of my current life... (Wall-o-Text alert; TLDR is above)

-At time of posting, I work 2 jobs to make money... and I have to work 7 days a week!
I'm a firm believer that you deserve AT LEAST one day where you don't have any work, but the jobs conflict with each other, so there's no other way. I am NOT going to miss out on my 8 hours of sleep... So I'm just going to have to change my definition of "day off": ALL of my time when I'm not working a job or sleeping.

-From the beginning, "making video games" has always been my dream, even if I failed computer science in college. Honestly, I don't care what I do as long as I'm "making video games", but artists don't have much power. But if my art isn't good enough to attract programmers to do my bidding, I'll have to do it all myself. I hear living an "ordinary and safe" life is something to be celebrated, but I can't give up on my ultimate dreams! Would I want to die with those regrets? So I'm taking a different path from the rest of my family: continuing to learn without expensive college instead of working a safe job to pay rent, which meeeeans:

-I still live with my parents. I've forgiven myself for this shame, but forgiveness is an ongoing process. I have to remind myself again and again that it's ok for an adult to still live with their parents, because life is hard for a lot of people these days. But I'm still affected by that poisonous stereotype of "the fat man-child that lives in their parents basement with no life". And honestly, I want my freedom from them, with their nagging and their dated values! That's another reason I'm working so hard!

Well, it's my birthday today!... Too bad I gotta work all day today. -w-;

But that's why I celebrated on Thursday instead! I fleww my church friends downtown for some gourmet donuts! The oreo filling literally burst out when I took a bite!
And then for dessert, we went to the ice cream parlor a feww miles away! ... They had samples of durian ice cream. ^~^; I decided to get my favorite Cooookie Monster instead.

We hung out for a bit then I took them home before doing chores and overseeing art. Hewwlett's getting good at drawing faster! Putting himself under a timer and having no muusic or video sure is boring, but it seems to be helping!

I wonder if, should just post sketches for how busy we've been, workingtwoo jobs? It'd feel kinda cheap doing that, but maybe I would post more if we didn't have to worry about that pesky line art stage. Seems lots of people do that too and get away with it.

My Birthday is in a little under a month! Juuly 8! \^o^/

I miss those days. It was simple to just say "We're going to Amuusement Park for my birthday". But then adult life happened. What are "normal" adults supposed to do for their birthdays?

There seems to be a theme of loneliness issuues around birthdays. I'll admit that I spend the majority of my time alone. And uusually for my birthdays I go out to eat with the feww IRL friends I have, bless them.

I sometimes think about what I would even want for my ideal birthday. Something to work towards for the fuuture. Like if I magically had all the money and friends and prep time I could wanted to have the best birthday ever. Even if I don't obtain it, I can get as close as possible.

I'm curious. If yoou could manipulate reality into your perfect birthday, what would yoou do for your birthday?

And whoo knows? If anyone knows what a "normal" birthday is, let me know too.

If all goes according to plan, I'll soooon have a job at the cake factory. I don't know how badly this will affect my (already non-existent >A<) presence in the arting life. It'll be hard work, 8-12hr shifts, with the threat of 1st shift, but I want things to change! I've felt like I've been playing catchup for the past 4 years! So even though this dragon woouldn't be getting much beauuty sleep, I am determined to make this work!
(Or whoo knows? If I don't get noo job, I'll have more time for yoou guys!)

Maybe I should also talk more. I got infected with the "don't-talk-toooo-much-on-Facebook" plague, so maybe that's one reason I'm shy. What was even better was the pre-previewws, where they played a bunch of Godzilla commercials and cartoooon clips from the 80s and 90s. What a nice touch!

Yes, it's a reboooot, though Godzilla still comes from radiation. But now Godzilla has <spoilers>!
