Looks like Woofie Vegas (Christopher Sanders) is at it again, launching a new facebook page to attract attention to his latest scam, the "Las Vegas Fur Con". This convention is to be held sometime in August 2015, with no details on the location, accurate date or event planning. He claims the event takes place at three casinos, lasts three days and urges members to register as soon as registration opens. Keep in mind, there is no board of directors, no legitimate non-profit organization associated with the event (this could be searched by the Nevada Secratery of State's website) and no website. All of the advertising is poorly done.
Woofie Vegas has no legitimate source of income, he has no car and lives with his mother in Las Vegas. He does not participate in many of the Vegas Furs events and has been barred from some. He is a dangerous person in need of funds, and will go out of his way to scam anyone willing to buy a ticket to his event.

Posted 11 years agoThat's right folks I'm in Minnesota and the weather is fantastic! Got into Thief River Falls around 2 and met up with Azzy. Glad to be making this state my new home but sad to say goodbye to Vegas and all my people from there. If I've learned anything it's I'm not bad at making friends, so fitting in won't be too difficult, I just wish I had some already. :/

Posted 11 years agoA couple weeks ago I gave my puppy away to a really nice family. Upon arriving at the house the kids were in the backyard and saw Kaiser and I step out of my Expedition. I think at that point I knew I made the right choice. See I had been noticing my puppy was getting more and more anxious living in our apartment and with us not moving out for a couple moments I decided he needed to find a better place to live. When we got into the house the owner introduced me to his Boxer and his Chihuahua. Surprise to me that the Chihuahua (which I always call large rats cuz I loathe them) was the alpha of the house and put Kaiser in his place right away. I let Kaiser run around with the Boxer and I knew he was home. I talked to the man a few minutes, basic follow up questions and what not, and we walked out so I could give him the last of his things. He asked if I wanted to say goodbye and I really did but I said no. I couldn't bare to look at him again, I knew I would break down. I drove off and had to pull over, I cried so much that day, I still feel sad. I still feel alone without him here. He was like my child, I had raised him from 6 weeks old...
I put this out there in the world now because I needed to say it, or write it out. I can't hold it in myself any longer or I'll burst. My mate has been very supportive, but he doesn't see how much it affects me because I don't want him to see me weak and vulnerable. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep because of losing my best friend... I just have to keep telling myself he's in a better place, with kids who he can play with and other dogs to teach him.
I tell everyone I'm fine, because I don't want to talk about it. I don't because I don't want to seem weak, but I am....

ESG Summary / Artist and Customer respect
Posted 12 years agoSo this past Friday I got to go to Elliot's Spring Gathering, which was hosted in my home city of LAS VEGAS! When I got there I was shocked at the amount of people I saw, which was just the locals and the few artists at the artists table. I was introduced to a few cool locals that haven't been to any meets yet, and quickly befriended them. THEN the pool party happened, and I found out there was quite a lot of people there and had a blast swimming and drinking and getting my inner buck out! I got a commission back from a very talented artist, and got to meet and hang out with Zen and Icelyon too! Friday came to a close, and eventually I became sober and drove home.
Saturday was the most fun I've ever had! Playing magic with new furs, 3 on 3 (which was supposed to be 4 on 4, but 2 dropped out because they are chickens haha), Meeting Maurice LaMarche and hearing his fun experiences and his love of his career. Swimming at a pool that doubled as a beach, with a water slide! playing beach ball and joking around in the pool! Obviously booze was involved and I was too drunk to drive! So I had Tiny drive all of us to Metro Pizza where I ingested a large amount of Wine and pizza and then proceeded to hit the dance floor where I got to see the DANCING DUKE hit the floor and show us all some moves! <3 Got to see Maurice again and he even did CALCULON for me which made me a giddy little fan boy haha! Ran into Zen and Icelyon again which was cool because they're really nice :3 Eventually sobriety hit and I had to go home and pass out for a couple more hours before....
SUNDAY! I woke up and went to the store for my mother to get dog food (and of course her flowers because it was Mother's Day!). Returned home, hopped in the shower and headed to the Hard Rock for the final day of the con. More magic obviously happened after my tons of photos with fursuiters, and then it was time to hit up this Brazilian place that had the best yummy unlimited meaty goodnessness ever! My god I was in heaven (minus the fact that the meat people kept skipping our table)! We returned to the hotel and played some more magic, but it was clear that the meat place was the close of a great con.
So all in all I really hope Elliot's returns to Las Vegas next year, because if it doesn't, whereever it is I'm going!

I wanna address this because I know there are people who do this to artists and it really screws them over as far as creativity goes.
I noticed at the table when people came up to artists and asked for commissions they asked for specifics:
"I want my red panther to be sitting cross legged with a bandana on a chair facing a window in the background, the spots he has have to look EXACTLY like this *points to his reference* and I also want you to make sure his claws on his footpaws are extended, but not his handpaws because he's declawed. OH and I want..." You get the idea. People have too much they want when they commission someone. They have a long list of demands and then freak out when they aren't met. This really bugs me, because A. the artist should have some freedom, you're asking them to create something for you, not draw what is in your head, and B. they shouldn't have to take your shit if they fuck up on a small detail like the chair isn't facing the window or something. Please get off your high horse. You have no right to judge an artist who made a simple mistake, when you yourself are probably not even capable of creating anything even remotely close to what they have.
Please kindly fuck off you stupid commissioners, you give us a bad name.

Valentine's Day, or Single's Awareness Day

Every year this holiday roams around, the more it becomes meaningless to me.
Honestly this is a day that irritates me only because people should show this much love and affection to their significant other every day.
Maybe that's why I don't have someone? Because I'm real.
If I end up with someone that I truly care about, that person gets all of my time and effort.
Shit they get all of my money because I'd spend it all on a chance to see them again.
Hopeless romantic I guess.

Life update :D
Posted 12 years agoThis year started off so slowly up until about a week and a half ago. I finally got all of my paperwork for the library filled out, and had my training. Started working and fell in love with the job. It really is a dream job of mine to work in a library. It's quiet and peaceful and I can read whatever we have whenever I want (within reason). It's nice because when there's downtime I can do my homework. Classes are going well too, my Statistics class isn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I still need a calculator. I love my methods class, it's one of my favorites this semester. I haven't gone to Art or Communications yet, but that'll be Monday. I'm excited to see what they have in store for me. ^^
Other than that not much is going on. My friend Oran
jamesotter and I have been raising SL breedables called Fennux. They are so cute!
Oh and I have a trip coming up in 19 days! I'm going to visit
biard and hang out with him for a few days up in JERSEY. First time going to the east coast, so I'm very excited ^^

Posted 12 years agoThis hasn't been a great year to say the least. I can't look back on it and find one really good thing to mention. Does that mean anything that happened this year was bad? No of course not, it just wasn't something I'm going to look back on in a few years and say "Wow that changed my life." I think out of everything that happened to me, good and bad, I've continued to grow as a person. I learned a few things that I will keep with me, mainly that I don't need anyone to be happy, I have myself. It's something I needed to learn, and I have. Over the past year I had been with two guys, and both were negative reinforcements. One was emotionally abusive, and one was emotionally abusive toward himself. Are we friends still? Yes, one in fact is one of my best friends, even though I could never consider myself to be his. These past few months alone have taught me so much about myself. I don't NEED someone, I will never NEED anyone, but I do in fact want someone. Starting off 2013 with a new job, and a new semester will be very helpful. I've also stopped guzzling down so much Dr. Pepper, as I would buy one every day before school. I've become addicted to Pineapple juice. I had plans to go to FC, but they got destroyed almost as quickly as they were planned. This isn't a pessimistic journal by any means, I'm happy, very happy in fact, I haven't had one depressing thought in over a month. :3 I just can't lie to you and say I had an amazing year. This year is just another chapter to my story, a filler if you will, with an ever greater adventure to come in 2013. In Feb, I'm flying to the east coast, that will be the first time I leave the west side of our country. That in itself will be an adventure, to which I should be continuing when I move there. I have big plans for the next couple of years, and I'm excited to see how they play out. If everything goes right, I'll be a very very happy person. Another thing I've noticed is how disassociated with my reindeer fursona i've become. Obviously it's mine for life, but I've started aiming towards other fursonas I have in mind. Is that wrong of me? I doubt it. I just don't feel like I could truly be a reindeer my whole life. I'm still quite obsessed with them though. Anyways enough of my rambling. This year was moderate compared to other years, and 2013 better be rockin'. :3 Happy New Year.
