It works like that:
Everyone who comes to commission me a second time gets a one time 10% discount;
If you come a fourth time you get a one time 15% discount;
And, finally, if you're so cool you keept coming back and came back a sixth time you get a !!PERMANENT!! 20% discount

FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER FOR TRANSGENDER PEOPLE CAMPAIGN

Friends of the Shelter already funded March 2025! And committed to 937 euro in monthly donations. To fully fund Yerevan shelter in a stable way, we need another 1463 euro in recurrent donations. Your 50 euro means 200 euro for us in terms of what costs we can cover!

Your donations cover rent for a three-room apartment (shelter capacity is up to 6 people at a time), utilities, household chemicals, basic food and medicine for those who are unable to afford those costs. It also includes the support of the project by a psychologist and coordinator.

Center T helps transgender people in Russia and those in exile in other countries. The Russian government persecutes LGBT people by making xenophobia its state policy. You can read the stories of hate crime victims here and here. Most often our shelter residents are people who had to flee Russia urgently because of state persecution or domestic violence, as well as transgender people from Armenia itself.

Let’s create some stability for an emergency shelter for trans people together!

Hello.
This post is unusual for me, and i don't want it's rude and angry tone to be something that defines my entire personality in your eyes, because i respect and treasure you, and i try my best to stay positive and make people around me happy. Please, let this moment be just a mere moment of my character's weakness and not it's whole picture.

First of all, i want to make it clear: i have no problem making friends with people who commission me, more so - many people with whom at first i had strictly professional relationships i now consider my dear friends.
I have no problem if someone wants to be my friend, this is not something that bothers me, even more: i am not just opened to it, i do encourage people reaching out to me outside commissions! I am not an unapproachable person, on the contrary - i really do enjoy other people's company, when i'm not being toyed with or made fun of.

Less than anything i want this journal to discourage people from trying to make friends with me: this is why it took me so long to write.
Nevertheless, last couple months i had an experience that made me realize i should make some of my boundaries clear, because it's obvious that if i don't some people will not respect them.
Here goes a list of things i need to make clear:

1) Do NOT call me while drunk, intoxicated or anything like that. I have no business having an opinion on how other people spent their free time, nor i judge anyone, but i find it EXTREMELY inappropriate when it comes to client-artist relationships.

2) Do not call me without a warning! Like, NEVER, PLEASE. Saying "i'm gonna call you" and calling me the second after you said that isn't a warning!

3) Please, respect when i say i can't talk! Do not call me after i said i don't wanna call!

4) Do not say weird things to me when i'm working on a commission! Or ever, unless we know each other for a while, or i specifically consented to it (me, anxiously saying "well, i don't know" because you put me in a voice call without a warning ISN'T A CONSENT). This is something that happened to me on multiple occasions throughout the years of me working as a freelance artist, and i DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY it keeps happening. I feel like being inappropriate with an artist YOU DON'T KNOW outside his work for you is a pretty OBVIOUS rule, but i guess it's not.

5) Do not make a decision for myself when it comes to my prices. If you don't have enough money for a thing - please just tell you don't we'll figure it out. Do not say "well, you're going to draw it for X amount of price now" and ESPECIALLY, do not GO AROUND and tell people that this made up price is what my actual prices are.

6) Don't act weird about me being a foreigner?????????? Don't ask me to teach you russian swear words?????? Don't make fun of my accent??? On the contrary don't start a professional conversation with "Oh you have such a sexy accent"?????? Don't be weird???? Fucking pretty please????????? Do not say "oh i love russian boys y'all so sexy"??????????? WHEN WE WERE TALKING ABOUT WHAT KINDA CHARACTER YOU WANT ME TO DRAW FOR YOU???? FUCK???????????????????????????? I don't care for your stupid fetish, to each their own, but it makes me highly uncomfortable, when it's something i haven't consented to be subjected to???????????????????????????

7) Related to the previous point: i need to clarify, that although i make a lot of grammatical mistakes when writing, and i don't have a strongest grip of which word stands where in a sentence my ability to understand written and spoken speech is almost on the level of a native speaker, because those are fucking SEPARATE SKILLS. I don't speak that well not because i'm fucking stupid, but because i'm an antisocial anxious loser, which lead me to not having enough practice when it comes to actively speaking the language rather than passively consuming it. I talk like that not because i am lesser than you thus deserving to be made fun of, but because i don't have people in my life to teach me talk better, and because i don't often get a chance to talk, using my voice. But besides that one of it's main reasons is my SEVERE, and i mean it, anxiety. Because of it, every tiny inch of the progress i might've made is erased as soon as i get startled or talk with people i don't know. But it only applies to my speech, as i said before, unless your mic quality isn't the best, or i'm having some internet issues 99% of the time i understand your every word thus, please, don't talk to me, like i'm a baby =]
I appreciate people being patient with me, but i would like it to be because they undestand i'm a little bit scare and very anxious, not because they think i'm slow and stupid.

8) Don't spam my messages just because i haven't replied to yours for an hour. I have a family and a personal life, also a different time zone. Don't message me ten "Heyy" "are u here" ":0 where are u" messages in a row just because i FELL ASLEEP.

9) DON'T TELL ME TO "SHUT THE FUCK UP" WHEN I DONE NOTHING WRONG TO YOU??????? It's something that shouldn't be a thing at all, especially when i'm just an artist you commissioned to draw your character??????????????

10) If you got me in a voice chat, DO NOT START EXPLICETLY MOANING ALL OF THE SUDDEN?????????? Wtf??????????? Why???????????????????????

That's about it, i think.

I can be your friend, and i love it when people want to talk to me! It makes me feel like i'm important enough for people to care about me! And i really like my followers and stuff, it's amazing so many people find my art cool and i'm so thankful to every person who said kind words to me through all of these years!
But, please, be kind and respect my boundaries. I'm already a pretty shut-in guy, this kinda of violations do not make me any more motivated to open up, they only make me doubt my own self-worth even more. More so, this kinda behavior won't make me want to be your friend! Just because i'm shy an anxious doesn't mean i'm not able to realise when i'm being mistreated!

Hi everybody! I need your attention for a moment.

I have a very good friend whom i know now for two years, he’s a very caring, compassionate and gentle person and i care for him a lot.

He supported me when i needed the support and now i want to support him.

His name is Vadym, he’s from Ukraine, he has been suffering from serious health problems since 2019, but his condition has started to get worse sharply in recent months. It’s getting pretty bad and i am really scared for him.

He has a rare genetically determined disease - hyperlipoproteinaemia (severely elevated lipoprotein (a)). It affects blood vessels and organs dependent on them. As of today, the abdominal aorta, heart, kidneys, pancreas and the gastrointestinal tract in general are damaged.

He has COMPLETELY lost his ability to work, he feels terrible most of the time, he barely eats and requires a long-term treatment. In the coming weeks, a large set of instrumental and laboratory tests needs to be done, which my friend simply cannot pay for in his current condition. So I have to ask for your help. Now approx. $1,500 (60,000 hryvnias) should be raised. Any amount will be helpful, even a dollar.

okay guys i need your advise and personal opinion on my situation sorta—-

helpppppp…. I’ve been drawing comics for about two years now, and it’s been great for me and i enjoy it pretty much, but the most attentive have already noticed that whilst i started making each page at a pretty reasonable length, as most comic go, they went longer and longer to the point that now one page i make have length of three pages i would make a year ago.
And i can’t force myself to make them shorter and i also afraid that if i increase my prices people would stop commissioning me at all, but because of how LONG my comics are at the moment they have been slowing me down and i’ve been stuck at one page (which is, like, three pages lengths still) for much longer than i expected.

I am genuinely freaking out, i want to do the BEST job i can, really, as i said - i LOVE MY JOB, i love drawing out the stories people ask me to, i love all the different ocs, i really enjoy drawing different kinks i haven’t drawn before, or drawing the ski suit stretching and stuff like that, i like making my commissioners happy, i like to impress people, i like to do better and better each time, being a good artists and a worker does GREAT for my own feeling of value as a person and other good stuff.

It’s ridiculous, there have been some instances when i draw more pages for people than they commissioned me to just because i couldn’t physically stop myself from adding on more frames and because of that i almost missed deadlines for other commissions.
And i can’t tell how much pages would i come up with in the end, because my brain just doesn’t work like that 😭 and i usually send wips to my commissioners only after i did the lineart, because my sketches are horrendous (it’s true, i used to try to send them but really no one besides me can decode most of what’s going on in the page before i do the lineart) so it’s just a game of chance in the end of if i would make much bigger than paid for.


I dont know what to do. I try to keep my deadlines short, because i feel like people wouldn’t like to wait longer than 2 months for something, but i don’t know if i would be able to keep up with it if i keep getting my comics longer each time..

Should i just increase my deadlines and chill out, and just warm people in advance that i might draw their comic much longer than expected? Or should i increase my prices?

I just want a solution that simultaneously would be best for me and for my commissioners. Because i DO LIKE giving more than expected, it’s the mental pressure and critically undercharging in the end that’s the problem.

so! as you know, we’re currently in georgia (country, not the state) and we’re doing allright, much better in russia, people in georgia seem to be much more accepting, but for a number of reasons, first one is an overall unstable political situation and possible ban of gender transitioning in the country we’re planning on applying for french artists visas, just so if stuff will go badly we’d be able to leave georgia to a more LGBT friendly place.

So far our odds of getting this visa seem to be fairly good and we got almost everything we need, EXCEPT recommendation letters.
I work as a freelance artist for several years already, i love my job and i never plan on changing it ever, furry community is one of the most accepting i ever been in and i am grateful for that.
I know i’ll be able to do more in france, without all of the pressure that “any moment my existence might become illegal” brings into life of me and my family. Maybe i would be able to meet some people i draw for, i don’t know, i really do see an endless amount of possibilities regarding this.

So i need help with those recommendation letters, they’re literally the only things that’s left for me to collect and after that we’ll be able to send our application. i need, like, ten.

If anyone, to whom i have ever drawn, or who foresees a possibility of ever commissioning me lives in EU, i would really appreciate your help, please note me and i will newer your questions and explain what to do,,
