If You're a Fan of Good Mainstream Music Covers...
General | Posted 11 years agoThen this is most definitely a channel you should check out on youtube!
I just adore how tasteful these covers really are, Scott Bradley is quite the ambitious fellow and I'm glad he's around to share his love of music!
"Creep" by Radiohead done in a very soulful manner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ub3vliRRXI
"Wake Me Up" by Avicii done in a fabulous Mariachi inspired style! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PVLCZE_ov0
"Don't You Worry Child" by Swedish House Mafia in a very tasteful Jazz reminiscent of the 20's (and probably my favorite on this list!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGDQd0xJU9g
There's some notes I want to mention on this one.... first is Jazz Clarinet <3 and second is, watch the drummer at the 5-6 second mark. That is all.
~*BONUS*~
"Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" interpreted by Scott Bradley himself and done in various styles of music as he follows the evolutionary path we've gone through over the years. Its quite a fun ride I highly suggest checking it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jDR14y19fQ
(The Dubstep was hilarious)
Take care and thanks for stopping by!

How's season going?
General | Posted 14 years agoAnyone here in marching band? Or even a concert or community band for that matter?
here, just wondering what everyone is up to, band wise. :u
I had a three hour cleaning camp that got washed out by rain, so it ended up being a three hour music cleaning camp. We're going to Orem, Utah, for a competition this weekend and I'm excited because we've improved a lot in the last week.
I wish our band had some quality control, though. The freshmen can play, but they can't march. No matter how hard me and the other section leaders try, they wont learn, so our sets look sloppy most of the time.
How times have changed. ;___;
