General | Posted 11 years agoOne may say that a compilation CD is all about musicians swapping music, but it's not swapping if you're selling them. By copying these songs, you're ripping off artists.
You'd think nine bucks would be a good price, except when the person selling it to you downloaded songs off the internet for free. Do you think this is wrong? I do. They're stealing someone else's music, taking something that doesn't belong to them. It's the same as breaking into a record store and stealing a CD.
Many musicians make their livings off the sales, they spent a lot of time and money to make their product, hell, some of them aren't even trying to sell their work, they just want others to enjoy it for free, and it's not right for someone to steal their music from the net and sell it for their own personal gain. Not only is it wrong, but it's also a copyright violation, and a federal crime. I wish some people would think before doing something so stupid.Art Raffle!

I had an amazing time at Califur this year, I would love to give a quick shoutout to 
for the ride on thursday and 
for giving me a place to crash until my roommates arrived on friday!
Friday was pretty chill, got to see a lot of familiar faces and had fun filming stuff as usual, 
and 
showed up that night so I could move my stuff over. It was a fun evening indeed. :D
Saturday started off with starbucks, selfies, and sweaty sweaty dickies. I got to film the fursuit parade, see Culpeo turn down for what in a box, talk to 
about cotton candy buttholes, and went swimming. The dance that night was a lot better, though I am sorry to hear what happened to 
(he fucked his face up when he tried to do a backflip).
Sunday had some interesting twists, I got to perform for the first time in over three years, and although things were a bit rough at first (and in between), I was able to carry out the set smoothly, and I'm pretty proud of myself. I am hoping I can do this more often (with better preparations of course!). As always, there was that awkward feeling of leaving the con to go home, for some reason i always feel like I'm forgetting something, like a part of myself is still there, reluctant to let the magic die.
For anyone I forgot to give a shout out to, you guys are all awesome, and I'm glad we got to spend this long weekend together! I would also like to give a big thank you to 
for being part of 
, as she has now resigned from the group. We already have a new group member on board and you will get to meet her very soon!

I'm considering this, and because everything seems cheaper over in NV,
I'm gonna lower the cost of my CD to $5 flat. (originally it's $8.99 + Shipping)
