So, I haven't really been on much lately. I'm alright, happy and good. I'm just feeling a lot more withdrawn lately, and afraid to reach out. The world and everything in life has me on edge, and I have trouble keeping up with messages and friends online. I don't get on for 4 days and then get nervous I'll have to explain why I didn't reply for four days, so I don't answer them and now it's 5 days and it snowballs. People guilting me for not being around all the time make it stressful for me to check messages, tbh.

I'm not leaving the fandom or anything. Just needing to have more space than I did before, at least for now. I still love to talk to you when I have the chance. Just don't be a dick about response times. <3

FurAffinity isn't as terrible as we all thought. This is progress. Progress is possible, you guys. We don't all have to abandon ship.

Much like America is right now, this site is run by a few far right aligned, nazi-apologist, anti-PC persons. Yet the majority of Americans (and users on FA!) are good people who do not identify with these groups and want equality for all. We want Nazi symbols banned. We want furryraiders and alt-right members to cower in fear instead of being out in the open.
This isn't what we all wanted, which was a ban of all Nazi symbols, in fiction or otherwise, but it's an important first step. It proves the staff of FA are open to changes in policy. We can continue to strive for the community to be better.

Ideally we could all migrate to another site, but the fandom is so disjointed with the sole exception of FA. So many artists and content creators rely on FA as their source of income and can't risk just leaving it entirely. But I think this is a harbinger of things to come. They feel the pressure. Maybe things will work out in the end?

2017 was a great year for me, I got my master's degree, got a significant raise at work, made new friends IRL and in the fandom, and learned a lot about myself this past year. Besides the horrible garbage politics happening because of president dumbass, it was a great year, and a period of major growth for me. ( 😉 HA CHA CHA CHA macrojoke... but seriously, I feel I grew a lot as a person.)

Please promote body positivity, don't say "it's a bad idea to call yourself cute" as one person did today. People can call themselves whatever the fuck they want.
I am totally taking what occured too far, but it really pissed me off for some reason. Probably because it took me a long time to love my body and be comfortable in my pudge, and it's the casual skeptical comments like "you think you're cute?" which cause problems to begin with.
It's fine to not be attracted to certain body types, just don't be a dick about it.

Hey everybody! I hope all of you who are reading this are doing well.

I'm doing fantastic! I got my master's degree in music yesterday!!! ^_^

It's a really exciting time in my life, and I'm really proud of myself. I have some vague plans for what I'm going to do with my degree, but for now I just want to relax. I've been in school my whole life, Kindergarten to now my 7th year in college, without a break (well, summer breaks between years), and I'm sooooooo ready to not have an academic mindset for a while. To just live life and adult, not be a student.
I want to work and make the $$$, chat with you furry folks, and watch netflix for a while. I'm exhausted and I've earned it, haha.
Also might try and go to cons. Depends on where and when. There are a few people I'd really love to meet.

In other news, I accidentally deleted all my submission comments which really fucking annoyed me, so if you commented on something of mine that isn't one of my newest submissions, I apologize if I don't reply... It's also annoying because I sometimes keep comments/replies from other people's stuff if I want to remember to chat with them sometime or remember to commission them at some point, etc. So that was annoying. Argh

Lastly! I'm still always on the lookout for new co-commissioners, (more looking for micros to play with than other macros), so if you're interested don't hesitate to let me know.

Especially for a few ideas;
●If you're into being on the receiving end of gore.
●If your character would play as Light Yagami. (Would explain details of my idea later.)
●If your character would play as Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh!.
●If you're into being humiliated. Got so many ideas for how to do that to micro runts.
Again, this would be a 50/50 arrangement. I ain't a charity.

If anyone who I consider a friend tries to talk to me about why circumcision is bad, or why circumcision is good, or about restoration or any of that shit, then we are not friends anymore. I'm done.
I don't argue about it, and I am pretty neutral. But after seeing people issue death threats to one another in one of the telegram chats that I'm in, I don't ever want to hear about it again. Asking if I'm cut or uncut is fine, but I don't want to get into this garbage. People are so divisive about it. A dick is a dick, shut the fuck up and enjoy it.

I need advice. I'm super mega frustrated.
Also, just want to vent about this issue.

I commissioned a certain artist in July of 2016.
I have yet to see a sketch from them, and they have yet to even contact me after the initial payment & my explanation of what I wanted for the commission.

This artist takes on more commissions every single month.
They take money from people, promising them art, even though lots of folks (I'm not the only one), have been waiting 6+ months for art. One guy I spoke to said it had been over a year and a half since he made payment, and he had never even received a sketch yet.

This artist continues to post art, very slowly, maybe 2 or 3 pics a month.
And their profile even says they probably won't do art in the order paid, but more "in the order they feel like." I'm paraphrasing, but that's essentially it.

And, on top of that, the few times I have voiced my concern, they basically shoot me down and get very passive aggressive with me.

I don't mind waiting a long time for art, that isn't what bothers me.
What bothers me is their careless attitude toward their patrons, and how they take on 10 more commissions when people have been waiting a year+ for their art.
Maybe finish your first candy bar before you open another one, hm?

Also, I am telling every close friend in the fandom not to commission this person. I've already convinced one friend who was going to commission them someday, NOT to do so because of my experience. Artists have to have some responsibility for their patrons and commissioners.

This is a somewhat well known vore/micromacro artist, but I shan't post their name here and cause drama. If you want to know, note me here or message me on Telegram.

It's unfortunate, this is the first negative experience I've had with commissioning art.
