Sadly last month wasn’t super productive; honestly kind of feeling …burnt out… that’s not really the right word, but honestly I’m not sure what is. Anyways, new month time for more drain droppings about my drawings and such…
Request status
So I was hoping that I would have the request Queue cleared by the end of October, but still have one last item from the queue. Given the content of that request It’s likely only going to be on FurAffinity (barring a heavily cropped preview thumbnail, which might not be readily doable with how It’s shaping up) after that I’ll probably take a few requests. To finish out the year with.
Commissions?
So yeah this has been on my mind lately. I mean its something I think of from time to time, but rarely in any meaningful way. That said over this last year (and particularly recently) I’ve had a few people ask me if I take commissions; this, aside from being flattering, has gotten me thinking a bit more seriously about the prospect. That said there are a few reasons that I never gave it much thought before (money complicates things, I am bad at introspection and assessment of self worth, charging for something that was free seems likely to upset people), but if people want to throw money at me I would be stupid not to take it(?). I imagine I will eventually opt to start taking commission at some point, but not in the immediate future likely. Though if anyone has any input in the mean time I’m open to hearing peoples thoughts on the idea.

Last month was a pretty productive and overall good month, but it’s a new month and so its time for another one of these things
Contest
So the Contest last month didn’t do so well, with few entrants and no winners (though one person got close predicting Stefani would be last month’s Mastasia Girl) Despite the Mastasia stuff being some of my more popular drawings. I suspect the way I announced the contest might be part of the issue though so we’re going to try again this month, but this time I’s going to have its own dedicated journal, so look forward to that
Requests
So as already mentioned last month was productive, clearing out a huge chunk of the request Queue, and leaving only two left from the queue. I’ll probably take a few more requests once I finish those two, but given the last two here are both a bit more complex and involved (though in one case only because I choose to do it in a way that makes it like that), so while I intend to have them both done by the end of the month, I might end up barely squeaking by on that goal.
Other Stuff
Something that been on my mind over the last few days; art etiquette regarding drawing other peoples characters. I mean I’ve always gone with the idea that unless there is a ‘general invitation’ such as an artist birthday or such (*HINT*10/12*HINT* ) or a direct request from character owner I just don’t. but a few things done by some artists I follow make me wonder if that’s how other people view things or if it’s the best way to handle that…

New Month, time for another update Journal, though I have a Bit of a surprise.
A Contest
As you may have noticed I have been doing some fanart of the website Mastasia. Given that 05/2021 is going to be an anniversary for the site and drawing at least one model from the site each month I’ll have drawn all of them by 04/2020 I think I’ll keep that up. That said, the ones I have drawn so far kind of inadvertently fell into a pattern that I plan to stick with going forward. Keeping all that in mind I’m going to do a little contest: First Person to leave a comment on this journal with the next two Mastasia Models I plan to draw, in order, Will get a simple (e.g 1 character pinup) request. I will keep this open until someone wins or the next Mastasia Drawing goes up, whichever comes first
Other stuff

Without a large project to work on I’m not sure how relevant these things are anymore, but its not hurting anyone and I’ve kind of gotten into the habit of it, so its time for another
For some reason last month seemed to feel slower than normal, but I got a decent amount done and like how it all turned out, especially the Mastasia and Futanaria fan art since they both went over pretty well.
Admittedly still doing things kind of loose and by ear here but don’t be surprised to see more fan art of Mastasia as there are 9 ‘models’ left that I haven’t drawn and I recently realized that the site is coming up on some anniversaries in 9-10 months. There are also a few other things I have partially sketched or planned out or just want to do that I’ll probably get to, hopefully. Beyond that though I am also going to open…

This Just Makes Organizing things easier for me, and thus makes my life easier
2) If you want to make a request, just make the request
I am not keen on having lengthy games of twenty questions regarding what subjects i can/will draw; most times the answer will be 'it depends on the request/context' so without an attached request my willingness to draw a certain subject is all but impossible to assess. Also, while i am not against having a nice chat if you want (though fair warning i'm not always the greatest conversationalist) but the 'Trojan Horse' approach (staring a casual chat or such things to lead into making a request) has never really sat well with me and a has a good chance of just annoying me.
3) Reference material is appreciated
Again, it just makes my life easier and is much appreciated.
4) Requests are basically done more or less at my whim
In other words; i'm only going to take requests i am interested in and will not take requests i am not interested in or comfortable with for whatever reason.
5) Requests will be posted like the rest of my stuff
This means two things: firstly any requests that i cannot post on either Furaffinty or DeviantArt are basically the only absolute hard no as far as subject matter, and secondly if you don't want the request posted then don't ask me for a request. However, on a related note if you want to repost your finished request somewhere, feel free just be nice and link back to me if you do.
6) Things i won't draw
I've tried to avoid doing this kind of list since "stay in the rules of where i post stuff" pretty much covers every hard no subject matter, but there are a handful of subject matters that are close to a hard no that i'm just going to put an upfront no on to make things flow a bit more smoothly (as well as the already existing hard no subject matters to boot)
a) Loli/shota content
b) Excess gore, especially if its in a sexualized context
c) Diapers
d) solid bodily waste
e) Vore
f) Mental manipulation/alteration

The month may not have been terribly productive, but it’s still time once again for a monthly update
King Size Caren Comic:
Unfortunately, after getting two pages done in May, June saw nothing getting done on this front sadly. And while I have some thoughts and news on things with this, we’ll get to that in a moment.
Other Stuff:
While not getting much done on this front either, I do have to say what I did get done turned out well: The NM profile drawing turned out very nice, and while the other drawing has made me question if the whole ‘DA safe flaccid version’ of drawings featuring dicks is really worth the effort thanks to that version being kind of underwhelming in my opinion it was still really good overall.
Plans for July:
OK so first things first; The King Size Caren Comic is for lack of a better word cancelled… sort… maybe… not really… its complicated. I was originally just going to put it on Hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time as I just wasn’t up to the more involved work it tended to require. However, given I was already a little stressed about how long this project was going to take (estimates at the current rate of work would put it at 3-5 years) an indeterminately long hiatus would likely only make that worse. Throw in that there are a few things about the way I’ve handled things thanks to stuff like a lack of preproduction work beyond a script among other things; starting over seemed like a potentially good idea. Hence the idea to cancel the comic.
That said the things that made me decide I wanted to do this comic are still true (the number of scenes and moments that I would want to see/draw are a solid chunk of the story, not all of said scenes would really work as single illustrations, I’ve really wanted to do a comic for a long while, the stuff I’ve done based off this story has been some of the more popular stuff I’ve done) and I did say I would do a comic based off of the story. However, taking on a 63 page comic with minimal pre-production work and never having done a comic of any real sort before was not a smart move. And so while I’ll probably leave the subject alone for a few months, and another stab at the full comic is likely a good bit off in the future, we will likely be seeing more of Cat, Eve, Karen, and Minnie sooner rather than later.
So all that said about the comic and its status as being cancelled/on hiatus, what am I planning to work on? I do have two drawings based on suggestions I got that are well on their way to being done, and there are one to two more I might do as well. Speaking of suggestions, I think I’ll keep with that idea for the moment; so if you have something you think might be interesting for me to draw or just want to see me take a stab at leave it in the comments below, but please while I can’t nor won’t stop you from making multiple suggestions try to keep to one per comment to make my life easier. Aside from suggestions I’ve gotten I will probably continue with the profiles of my characters and I’ll likely do some Mastasia and/or Futanaria fan art, or even other fan art as well. Really though for next few months I’m mostly going to play it by ear, as while I am an admitted shut in the insanity of the world right now might be getting to me.

So over on DeviantArt I've been doing this Monthly update Journals thing since the start of the year, but for some reason i didn't do the same thing here, so lets fix that starting now.
King Size Caren Comic:
So you might have noticed over the last few months that a number of my uploads have been of a comic called King Size Caren. This is a bit of a large project that is going to take a while to get throuhg so i hope you lot are enjoying it so far.
