Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I made a new journal and felt it'd be right to make a new one as I hadn't made a new one in over 4 months.


It's been 5 months since I lost my father to cancer back in April of this year after many months of his health declining and myself and my mom and carers at home taking care of him until his passing. I felt like I lost a big part of myself when he passed away and feel it's my fault and wish I could had done more to help him.

Cancer and other illnesses such as that are really horrible things to have and would never wish it on anyone, nor on my worst enemies. Even though it's been months now, but it's still really raw to me as I had been having severe episodes of depression, anxiety and self doubt and low self esteem as I haven't been the same person since then. :(

And I really do feel rotten and bad as I feel I'm letting you all down for not drawing as much art of bosomy curvy bunnies (2023 being the year of the rabbit) and other curvy women as much as I originally promised at the very start of this year. I guess it shows how much of a failure I really am lol. Just been having bad art blocks as my mental health has been damaged pretty bad from losing my dad and the aftermath of two years of shutdowns and health mandates that severely had a toll on my motivation to draw. But now I'm pushing myself to draw again and get Clients commissions done I've been owing 2-3 years and am determined to get them done by the end of this year.

I will make a new journal in a couple of days mentioning the clients I still owe works to and I'm happy to do them free of charge as well as you've all waited this long and figured I might as well make it up to those of you who comm'd me for art ^^'

And in the next journal I plan to reveal plans for furry webcomics and a discord server I plan to do in the near future as a way for fans and friends to hang and chat with me as well as artists to share their works as well as other art, media, memes and even have movie nights. More will be mentioned about that in the next journal for those of you interested in hearing more on that.


And lastly, I want to mention about the possibility of myself changing my art name in the near future as well as a new fursona that reflects my current present day personality and represents myself online in the fandom. As we all know, our sonas and art names reflect our personalities at the time of their creation and when I made Jasmine-Redkat back around 2014 (After being Redstorm-87 on DA and elsewhere briefly) And been barman 87 on FA for many years as I couldn't change that, but plan to in the near future.

When I made Jasmine, my redhead feline sona back around 2011, it was at a time in my life during my pre transition years before I made the steps to transition from male to female as Jasmine was an idealised sort of person I wanted to be like years after I transitioned.

But now I've more of less achieved that, I plan to have a change up a bit to reflect my new kind of personality, something with a Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, urban hip hop kinda vibe to which I plan to design and reveal sometime soon :3

I just wanted to ask you all how you'd feel about such thing as those of you I've interacted with all these years have known me as "Jasmine" or "Jass" and other nicknames such and didn't want to go ahead with making such a move until I've checked to see how my fans felt about it first.

I really do appreciate the love and support you've all given me these years and difficult months. Do know I really appreciate it, Even if at times I beat myself up with self defeatist thoughts on how I don't deserve all the praise.

Hey everyone.


I'm back again. I know it's been awhile and I'm so sorry to all my followers for not being active on here and elsewhere for weeks. I've been without a PC for weeks as I awaited for the online store we got it from to send us a new replacement and we all know how long these things can take ^^;


And a secondary reason is I guess I've kinda lost my motivation to draw for sometime after losing my father to cancer two months ago. Which deeply affected me deep down pretty bad to the point where I couldn't focus on drawing or doing anything art related. So I've been in a pretty bad way mentally as I've not been myself as I lost a part of myself when my dad died.

But now I've got my new PC up and running with the help of my brother and slowly getting the motivation to draw again as the urge to do so is coming back.
I do aim to draw again and get back to uploading and working on clients comms I've been owing for a long ass time lol

I do feel rotten and hate myself a lot for letting you all down as I feel like I kept breaking promises to you all as I know you all enjoy my art loads.

I one hundred percent appreciate those of you I chat to on Discord who've been there for me during these times.

I've missed you all loads and hope you can all forgive me for my absence ^^;


Also got somethings I hope to discuss with you all in the very near future about the possibility of changing up my artist name and a new Sona to reflect my current personality as we us artists can change over time and our fursonas are pretty much a reflection of ourselves. Fear not of course as I still will always draw my redhead cat, Jasmine. As I know you all enjoy seeing her. I guess I just wanted to check with you all how you feel about it first. I will be making more journals discussing it more as I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Hey everyone.

I should had done this a day or two ago. But sadly my gaming PC has been crashing a lot lately. Blue screening frequently even when just watching youtube vids.

So it looks like it could be my hard drive messing up or something. So my PC is gonna get boxed up this Friday to go back to get looked at or likely be replaced. Which also means I won't be able to upload art for a few days. To which I'm deeply apologetic to everyone who follows me.

I've just had some bad luck lately with my father dying from cancer to my PC breaking. It's really took a lot out of me.

On a slightly brighter note. My birthday was yesterday. Turned 36 myself. I was gonna sit at home and be drunk and depressed. But did go to an Italian pizza restuarant for a good meal with some family and friends.

I will keep you all posted as much as possible on the PC situation hoping it gets resolved fairly speedy.

My beloved father passed away this afternoon in his sleep. He wasn't in any pain or suffering.


I just don't know how I'm gonna manage to live my life without him in it. He's the reason for my hopes to run my own business one day. I'm gonna miss him loads.

And I thank you all for the love and messages of support and condolences. It's gonna be hard for me to motivate myself to do much during this sad time. Let alone draw. I do feel really bad as I know you all enjoy seeing me draw.

I'm sorry for letting you all down. I really appreciate you all supporting me all these years.

Hey everyone, it's me, Jasmine.

I know it's been awhile since I've been on here as much and hadn't uploaded frequently like I planned.

I want to explain the reason why I haven't drawn as much as I should. Especially clients comms I owe folks.

This journal is gonna be a difficult one for me to write and I can struggle at delivering some bad news. So bear with me. I honestly don't know how I'm gonna say this.
But I'm gonna try.

I've been taking care of my dad a lot for these past few months as his health has deteriorated bad over the last couple of years with Parkinsons disease he's had for awhile now. His appearance became increasingly frail and struggled to do even the most basic tasks.

Yesterday morning, he came down with a seizure which gave us all a scare, resulting in us calling for paramedics to the house. I was asleep whilst this happened as I was up all night till 6am helping him change positions on bed throughout the night.

Well... It turns out he has cancer as well. Which happens to be located in his liver and internal organs. Which is a pretty fatal thing to have. So I guess it looks like my father is pretty much dying and only has weeks or months to live. Give or take. So I guess you could say I haven't took this news very well and was unable to write this journal yesterday due to the emotional state I was in all day yesterday. Been crying and felt sick, unable to eat or focus on anything.

My dad now needs full time care and we have hospice care workers helping my dad daily now and a carer at night to help with his end of life care as he approaches the end of his life as he wants to spend his last remaining days on earth in the comfort in his home. Surrounded by his family.

I just wanted to tell you all this incase you all wondered where I went and if I disappeared of something. I really do honestly feel rotten and bad for letting you guys down and I always appreciate the support you've all given me all these years and I'm happy you all enjoy my artwork I create.

I do aim to push myself to draw art I've been meaning to get done and finish up client's comms I've been owing for awhile now and will keep those posted.

I just don't know what I'm gonna do with myself once he's gone as he's done so much for me and my family our whole lives. And for the good memories he gave us.
Anyway...

I hope this clears up a few things and explains why things haven't been easy for me at home these past few months.

Hopefully you are all doing okay and are having a good time celebrating it wherever you are. I do feel bad for not uploading art in a long time. It's just that this year has kinda sucked personally. With all the things that went on. Including my anxiety at world events along with October with myself and my dad falling unwell which has resulted in me looking after him at nights for weeks.

Good news is he's recovered mostly now and I do plan to upload and produce my art more frequently and often in 2023. So that's something to look forward to.
And got myself a new gaming PC as my old one was over 12 years old and was getting increasingly slow and clunky in it's old age. So I figured it'd be a good time for a new one.

And I must say I'm really happy with it. Just been getting the hang of the new features on it as PC's have changed a lot over 12 years X3

Hey everyone. It's your fave thicc curvy redhead kitteh here.


I just wanted to apologise for not being active throughout October as I had pretty much the worst month in my life X( It all started during the first few days in October when I wound up with the worst migraine ever (Involving throwing up constantly and feeling too sick to move or get up.) Then a day or two after it passed, I had a chesty mucus cough that lasted for weeks.


And then my dad (Who's 71) Had Covid (Even though it was mild) Which took a lot out of him as he was really drained from it. So me and my mom spent weeks taking care of him. Making sure he is able to go to the bathroom and get into bed okay. Then my mom fell unwell with the stress of the whole thing. So um.. Yeah. October was a crappy month so I wasn't able to get anything done. But now that I'm better again and my dad recovering. I can resume the artwork again, producing content you all enjoy as well as client's comms I owe. ^^'


Anyway. Hope you all had a good Halloween weekend and celebrated it in which ever way you do so :3

Hey everyone.

It's me. I do owe you all a huge apology for being away this long. Things were a bit hectic this summer as I was helping my parents at home a lot. And my PC monitor died awhile back which I had to get replaced along with suffering from screen time migraines I've been getting on and off due to spending so much time gaming and being on my PC.

My art has been a bit slow due to some art block and low motivation due to being unwell. I am back now and aim to make progress in comms I owe folks and new art I got on the way.

Hey everyone.

Just wanted to let you all know I'm Okay and I'm super sorry I disappeared like that on you all for sometime. A month or two to be excact.

I was in pretty bad way for awhile due to my anxiety affecting my ability and drive to draw and get on with comms I owe folks as world events didn't exactly help for the most part.

Combined with having to look after my parents who were ill as of late. Firstly my mom having to be taken into hospital for a few days for medical treatment and fluids due to severe dehydration caused by a bad infection. She got out a few days later and is a lot better now thankfully.

A week or two ago my dad fell ill too. Only with a stomach bug which thankfully is treatable. So I couldn't get much in the way of art done due to having to look after my parents and help out around the house. But both are now better thankfully. So I do owe you all an apology for being away ^^'

On a brighter note. My birthday is this weekend on Easter Sunday. Turning 35 myself. Not quite sure how to feel about that lol. But I do look forward to going out for a meal at a Italian restaurant with friends and relatives. It'll be the first time I went out to celebrate my birthday with a meal in 2 years as I couldn't last year or the year before due to stupid coof restrictions not allowing so.

Also my birthday is on Easter Sunday. So that should make things interesting. With both cake and chocolate Bunnies X3

It's been awhile since I mad a last entry. I feel bad for not making an entry in so long so I figured this being the new (ish) Year I thought this would be a good start.

firstly I do apologise for being away and not active as much (Especially on commissions like I should) Been so low on energy and motivation as of late until recently with this time of the year being difficult for a lot of people.



Along with some self doubts about my work and anxiety with the state the world is in and stress about the feeling that I'm letting people down with taking so long. But I am back now and coming along with art again and pushing myself to work on comms I owe folks.

Anyway. hope you all had a fun Valentine's day that came recently and had a good Christmas and Happy New year too. Been working on some furry web comic ideas that I hope to reveal at some point in the future and got a lot of interesting things planned for this year in terms of artwork and themes I'd love to experiment with.

Hey everyone.

I really do apologise for not making a journal update in so long. I am okay and haven't fallen off the planet or anything.

I kinda was feeling bit down hitting some art blocks and stuff. Commissions are bit slow but Am continuing to finish what I owe and will keep clients posted.


I hope you had a good Halloween last month. I did attempt at trying to draw something for that, but sadly was struck down with a bad migraine that knocked me off my feet for few days so I do apologise for not getting something done for that.

And hope you all had a good Thanksgiving in the US and had good Turkey =3 I kinda wish we had Thanksgiving over here in the UK lol.

Hey everyone. Wanted to let you all know that I will once again be open for taking 5 slot commissions this Monday coming.

It's been awhile since I've took commissions so I thought it'd be good to do so again.
Prices for this one will be the same as in 2019. But when I open another set of five slots around late August. There will be a slight price increase. Due to the fact that my artwork seems to be attracting more interested in my work. And with my artwork slowly been improving over the years.

The prices in August will be below

lines (B&W) from $10 USD up to $15
Inks from $15USD increased to $20 USD
Flat colours from $20 USD Increased to $30 USD
Colours with shades $30 USD increased to $40 USD.

However, there will be no charge for backgrounds and the price for additional characters will be same as $10.

As for these 5 slot commissions I'll be opening this Friday. The prices will be at the former for the time being then will be updated to the latter around August.

I will open commissions on Monday Evening my time around 10pm UK Time zone. So be sure to keep a eye on this space and my twitter feed for updates.

Apart from all that. I've been OK. Just been sleeping badly and under bit of pressure to get some backlog of art done I owe before I open for commissions.

I apologise for not being active as of late as due to my sleep pattern being all over the place
and lacking in motivation and struggling to focus to draw. Especially with these endless lockdowns which don't help either.

Got newer art on the way which is good news and also I got a date planned for when I reopen for 5 slot commissions again.

I plan to do so around later part of May. So that way it gives me time to work on a updated price list as well as finish up some art I owe and other things. I do owe all of you a apology and feel bad.
