I'm curious about something:

Why are Tiny furs on Second Life much more behaved than their human counterparts? I mean, all furry tinies I've encountered so far have great personalities (excuse the pun) and are easy to communicate with. All two human tinies I've encountered so far are acting like spoiled brats and well... that's it actually.

I mean, as if it's not enough to have these yowling balls of flesh making Real Life a living hell at times (I *REALLY* can't stand the noise, sorry) now we have these tiny humans running around doing the same in Second Life. Granted in Second Life you can mute them, but still.

I want to quote Jeff Dunham here and add a little something from myself that people will recognize here: "Anything you can dropkick over your backfence is not a human... it's a yapping beanybaby with a soiled diaper".

Unhappy puppy in the land of make-believe is home. Bleh. I cried as soon as I sat down at my computer. Now there's 500 kilometers between myself and my roomie... I miss you!

Yes ladies and gentlefurs, I've tried my paw at art. Nothing special, just a bunch of lines that hardly depict a furry, but funny enough to make my roommate have a fit. So when I get home and all chores are done, I'll start scanning and uploading!

Then about the housecleaning.

I've decided that my house has been a dump long enough so I'll start tossing out stuff and offering stuff on eBay. I have some old dutch train catalogs and a book of "Modelrailroads in the making" or something like that. Knowing there are a number of modeltrain fanatics out there in the fandom, I think I can auction those off to start with.

I'll ship true UPS only, as I DON'T thrust our current dutch postal service anymore.

So here I am, sitting in front of my pc at 3:13 in the morning. I've had 3 beers, I'm kinda shot, bad tempered, and broke. Again. Today I had money and suddenly I had no money because the car insurance company took it all away. And the banks are sooo damn slow here, it's ridiculous.

I don't want to go to sleep. After my little scare on the bank account I had to lay down for a while, and promptly fell into a sleep filled with a nightmare. My car with a BIG dent in the back and in the drivers side door. The door was trashed, so was the seat.

I don't want to sleep, I'm gonna stay awake until I collapse. I don't give a rats ass anymore.

Why oh why do aspirins have to taste so bitter? Why can't parents just WATCH their children better? Or lock away the medication? I know the punishment fits the crime but I'm in pain... something I can't do a whole lot about.

I've been to the doctor today to have my back pains examined. Turned out it's not a herniated disc but my muscles are too tense. The result: I have to take 2 paracetamol 3 times a day for TWO WEEKS.

I hate paracetamol. It's a good medication, don't get me wrong, but I hate it for two reasons.

1. It's BITTER
2. It has the nasty habit of sticking to the back of my tongue thus making me gag.

Maybe I'll get some yoghurt and use that to flush them away.

Last night I was asking myself that creepy question "Why am I still here?" again. I mean, it says in that glorious fairytale book of Man that this life is just the beginning, right? If my life is already made of suffering then what the fuck will be waiting for me on the other side?

Will there be something on the other side? Who knows? As far as science goes: no. As far of beliefs say: yes. As a scientist, I really don't want to know.

And please, for fuck sake, don't say God will take care of me, okay? The only people that have been taking care of me died 19, 16, 4 and 0.5 years ago. Grandmother, mother, father, grandfather.

Yes, I'm ranting, Yes I'm pissed off. Yes I'm on medication for something somebody did to me and I STILL HATE HIM. I hate him enough that, when he ever spontaneously combusts, I'll watch and laugh as he'll burn to a crisp, even if the fire-extinguisher is handed to me. And that bloody company he works for as well.

Would be funny to see one of the IT's biggest company having connection issues, don't you think?

I'm slowly starting to become more and more unhappy about my personal life. I'm living alone, I have a lot of friends ALL OVER THE WORLD but only one good friend where I live. The fact that makes me even more unhappy is not that I still haven't had a solid relationship, but the fact that I'm still... a virgin.

Yes, I'm 34 years old and I've never had any nookie. Now someone told me a while ago that "I'm a good looking guy" and he or she (I'm still not sure, but you know exactly who you are when you read this!) didn't understand why I'd never been laid before.

Fact is: I'm not the average Joe. I'm tall, my behavior isn't always as rational as you might expect from someone my age (even though it has improved dramatically over the past few years) and I'm slowly turning into a grumpy old guy.

People sometimes wonder WHY I hate the world as much as I do, and to be honest: my personal situation is one of them. Granted, me having medication somewhat suppresses those feelings, but all by all it doesn't exactly make me that more happy.

Some people have complained that the furry fandom is so open about sexual behavior, but if that's the case, then WHY am I still alone? And before someone asks, no, I'm not gonna visit a "professional", as someone liked to call it once. My money is needed elsewhere, like to pay my rent with.

My head hurts, my back is a mess and I'm overweight. Sometimes my life really sucks... "C'est la vie." ...bullshit!

I seriously want to see a test for gamers and gamers to be that will test their IQ and if the IQ falls below a certain level you're not allowed to play that game. Seriously people, have at least half a brain when you play a game that requires you to interact with others!

It's bad enough that people can't write properly without the use of lolspeak, but try not to piss off the other players okay? And if you really insist in playing dumb, don't act surprised when the other person becomes angry.

I have a hard time enough already trying to interact with individuals in my favorite MMORPG Second Life, please don't make it any harder for me!

And yes, I know there are trolls running around, but this message is not about them.

So this year hasn't been the best for me. Lost my pet, but gained a couple new. I still miss Huppie though.

Got a job only to lose it three weeks later.

Lost my dear old grandfather.

Even though some good things happened, I still consider it a shitty year as I lost two loved ones. And a job. Hopefully it will be better next year.

So I just finished Iron Builder in Second Life. I didn't win, I did get two awards though. The challenge was to make a halloween mask out of block. My entry: a Piramid Head.

Iron Conservation: Use 20 or less prims to build your Iron Builder entry.
Iron Prim Torturer: Torture every last prim in your Iron Builder build. Do not leave a single prim untortured.

It was rappy to say the least, but try making a prim that has X, Y AND Z angles. Cursing, I did it a lot.

On another note: today me and a frend knocked down the remaining part of gramps' toolshed.

And coming tuesday I will get a new fridge. About time too.

Last thursday I've bought a nice fridge/freezer combination by Samsung. This monday is was installed. Looking really neat, I had to wait for 12 hours before plugging it in. Did so, now I have a nice big expensive fridge with a personality disorder because it thinks it's a SLOW ROAST OVEN! The outside gets cold, inside, steady luke warm...

FUCK!

I've called the company who I bought it from and it might take until the end of the week before Samsung will contact me!

So I had this plan to swap houses so I could live in gramps' house and leave the dump I live in now. Unfortunately, gramps' house is from a different housing corporation so it's impossible to swap houses. So now I have to put all his stuff into storage and sell all the junk I have to make room for his stuff.

If that's the way I have to do it, fine.

Yesterday evening, the time approx. 20:00, my grandfather died in his sleep, sitting on the couch.

This morning I got a call from his neighbour who had found him. Gramps had been a heartpatient, his death isn't much of a surprise, but it's a terrible loss for me as I'm now the only one left of this side of the family.

My grandfather was a special man. Even though he wasn't a furry, he supported me a lot and even helped me with sewing 2 fursuits.

He will be cremated on friday the 26th of august.

Gonna miss you, gramps.

Second Life makes a good part of my life, but now the owners of the sim I live in are facing some difficulties. Probably like most major sims, but I really like these people, so I promised them to send out this message:

"Okay. In a twist of irony--just when things I've waited for SL to fix, are slowly being fixed--Mitch is being placed on furlow for a short time without RL pay. We have to admit we can not hold on to Adelebsen by ourselves.
