General | Posted 9 years agoSo had an interesting morning. Stayed up so I could go wait in line to preorder the Nintendo Switch like a good fanboy and ended up getting an email two hours prior to them opening that I could preorder online... bleh going back to bed now! XD

I haven't been posting much as of late and sorry about that. I felt it was time I address it as well as some other issues.
The primary thing holding me back right now on posting is that I am just waiting on content. I have a good chunk of commissions out there waiting to be completed so I will post when I can. This however doesn't excuse the lack of me responding to people which I am sorry for.
That leads into this next part. For a while now; I have been battling Type 2 Diabetes and did quite well until recently within the past 4-5 months in which my A1C levels forced me into a diabetic relapse... this put a lot of stress on me, more so mentally than physically, and then some personal matters had came back to haunt me that were suppose to have been resolved. Next my wife's grandmother passed away suddenly and then her grandfather had a stroke that could have ended his life too. All of this mixed with other personal and emotional problems as well as weather induced asthma attacks left me in a pit of problems. You'd think I'd hit rock bottom at this point, but as of Tuesday of last week... I was reminded how wrong I was and was rushed to the ER resulting in my first ever Atrial Fibrillation aka A-Fib... this was sparked due to my constant use of albuterol rescue inhaler triggering my heart to go A-Fib.
So what is A-Fib? Well it's a lot of things really and can be caused by many things too. Over 2.7 million Americans suffer from it with some showing little to no signs of it. For me, my version of A-Fib caused my upper two valves of my heart to "desync" with the lower two which still was trying to pump blood making me sustain a BPM of 200+ for a long period of time. I am fine now after having my heart shocked and rebooted to pump correctly, but has left me weak and tired. So I will not be around too much though I am pushing myself to get better.
Anyways TL;DR Baron isn't as godly as you all think, the world is a lie, and BUY GOLD NOW. No seriously go buy gold; good stock investment!

My decision about FA: PLEASE READ

I know you all have been around through this mess just like I have. We all have seen people jump ship and come back for far smaller things.
Sadly it has come time for me to take my leave as well. I will still be on this site and active behind the scenes, but I will not be posting any new content.
Why now you ask? Well yes there has been shady points in FA's history and this one seems to take the cake for me personally. As a Computer and Network technician; I pride myself on network security. So when a site decides to neglect their duties to patch vulnerabilities within a month of knowing there was a threat, let alone an actual attack, it bothers me and my work ethics.
That said; will I ever come back? Well like I said I am NOT officially leaving; just not posting anymore... Not until I know it's safe to do so. So yeah I will post again eventually, but only after I know that both IMVU and the Furaffinity team has their act together and the right countermeasures have been put into place.
Currently I have the following accounts:
SoFurry (Old Backup)
Weasyl (Secondary Backup)
Inkbunny (This will contain new "questionable" and other art that is against ToS)
Furry Network (Primary Backup)
These are all under BaronVonJackal as well. I will be looking into updating these sites accordingly with my content merging from here to those locations.
Which site will I be active mostly on? Well all four will get the same treatment evenly with posts being submitted at nearly the same day. FA will continue to be my communications hub of sorts due to so many artists that I work with as well as others I speak with. So the only thing changing is submission updates. This also will give me time to update these sites accordingly so they are all well distributed with content for backup purposes (i.e. lost submissions again); this is a common tactic used in networking so there are redundant backups and thus will be treated as such. Now can you contact me on these sites as well? Sure! Just do not expect an immediate response until mergers are complete.

General | Posted 9 years agoI am looking for a pokémon artist to both draw and even help create a Rayquaza for me. I already have a female one, but I am looking to make a male one based off of my in game version who I loved dearly, but lost in the disappearance of my Omega Ruby.
I am also looking for one to draw him with my female shiny one as well. These will be Anthro pieces and will possibly be even NSFW.

General | Posted 9 years agoWell one of the worst things in gaming has happened to me... Decades of working hard and various pokemon games were lost. I am trying to find them still, but my hope level has reached a low.
I know to some of you this is probably stupid or petty, but to put it in perspective my main prized pokemon was within that game; my Rayquaza. I had caught it with an ultraball (no masterball shit like some would do), caught it at level 70 in the original Ruby version for GBA. I had then always leveled it up and trained it in every version there after until it came back home in Omega Ruby. I felt so proud of actually being able to do this... this digital creature felt like it had bonded with me even though I know it was just 0's and 1's. Now a part of me has died with losing him as well as others that I sequentially did the same method with later on. Part of me hoped "well it was saving to the SD card right?", but given it was a physical 3DS card... that was impossible..
Part of me wants to give up on Pokemon all together now... well at least until I find them, but part of me worries if I even will find those games again....

She decided that she wanted a tablet that she could draw on, but also able to play games on too; the Surface Book has an actual GPU versus the Wacom's integrated graphics by Intel.
What is wrong with it you ask? Well I won't lie; it was refurbished due to a power adapter issue, but that has now been corrected and will be reflected in the price of settling for a bit less. The good news is that Wacom has given this tablet an extended 3 year warranty in which if the problem ever happens again; it is fully covered by it (however Wacom has been great and I doubt it would happen again).

More importantly I have moved on in life. Things aren't the same as they once were... finally sold my home and currently looking for a new one, but least the horrors of the old days are behind me now (I dearly hope so).
SO that said and with things much better financially; you definitely will be seeing much more arts on here. I am turning my focus now back towards my main sona you all dearly love so look out for all of that new stuff and lewd stuff of him :P. Once I am done with art for him; I will look towards other male characters I have to get art of cause I need to balance out the boobs in my gallery with dicks!

LIFE EMERGENCY
General | Posted 10 years agoWhelp; it's nice that my house is up for sale, but due to how long it's taking... I am now 2 months behind on my mortgage. Mortgage is a whopping $1400 a month (long story short it was a shady loan and lesser of two evils to repair my place to even put it on the market). So needless to say I need help gathering moving funds. I am trying to raise a minimum of $7,500 to pay for packing, hauling, and storage as well as final clean up of any damages or trash before closing.
We have kindly asked any buyer to give us time after closing, but naturally that is a "no-go". So we are frantically searching for help any where possible.
Once we have a "Purchase of Sale" agreement to give our mortgage lender; then things go into limbo on payment which is good as it means they will wait till the house sells for full payment of the entire loan so we no longer need to deal with it.

First I want to address something I am most proud about; hitting well over 30,000 Pageviews! I wouldn't have done it without everyone so I thank you all the most for enjoying what you see and I hope to have more content in the very VERY near future. That said; I am going to be holding off posting any submissions as I am fixing to also hit my 300th submission and want to make that one a very special one as well... or well I hope to make it soon anyways. Which leads me into the next part.

Life update: So then; I want to do a special commission (more on that later), but right now I need to focus on some developing life things. As some may know; I have currently placed my home on the market and am selling it... it was a hard decision, but it had to be made. The house was a multi-generational home spanning 3 generations and was also a 2 family duplex. The sheer size of it was just too much let alone the age for just two people to take care of alone. So we decided it was time to move on and hope for better things. During this time; it has given me some food for thought in regards to how things have been going on in my life as well as a new viewpoint on something I really never gave much thought on. Which happens to be the final part.

Sona update: While BVJ was my first sona; little do people know his actual origins or how he was conceived. Dealing with my situation and having downtime between cleaning and paperwork filing left me thinking more and more on this. I finally realized that I didn't even freakin make a backstory for Baron; just created him and ran with it. Now normally for people that isn't a bad thing, but because of him being my first, you'd think one would actually have even a little bit of an idea of WHY the concept was formed.
Believe it or not; BVJ was actually a "shit's and giggles" idea. He was never suppose to get as popular as he did nor was he to become who I am today as I had originally conceived BVJ out of two things which both originated on Second Life. The first was the name "Baron Von Jackal"; this stemmed from where my first avatar was dressed in a dapper outfit and my dear SL sis and partner in crime
Cale~ started calling me "Boosh" then it developed to "Baron von Boosh!". That idea just kind of stuck and evolved from just being called "Anpu" on SL to "Baron Von Jackal". Now how did we get to the huge hunk of jackal meat that he is today? WEEEELLLLL that's the second part as from time to time I sported a very crude muscle avatar (anyone during that time period could tell you that they were all crude due to how they were only made from primitives rather than mesh objects we have today) and well another friend of mine 
drakians liked what I had and said "hey I just got a commission from this guy; you should too!" so I did and well THUMP came the big jackal sporting a "banana" dick -.- (which eventually had to get recolored and shaped in later commissions to avoid that look). After posting that image on my old account he just stuck and grew on me that I decided to make a new FA to become my more main account it is today.
SO that leads me to where I am now. After 3 years from his original inception; it's time for a much needed overhaul in his design. As many can see in the gallery; I have left it up to the artist to dictate how they would like to draw him which resulted in so many different designs, shapes, sizes, and colors abound. This needs to stop, but not in a bad way. I figured it was time to finally get things more organized, aligned with what I have envisioned, and overall conform in a unified fashion. Now what I have in mind I think some will quite enjoy, but I know others might not. That said as well; I have finally gotten to the point that I don't mind that. You like what you like and dislike what you dislike; that makes you who you are and is your opinion. Baron, up until now, was always governed by what others had in mind and I think it's time for him to live his own life if that makes sense?
I am hoping as me 300th submission that I will have a new reference sheet showing my purposed true identity of Baron will be. Some things that were there will be changing or will be removed, but the main idea of a hunky jackal will still be there for sure so don't worry about that ;)
ANYWAYS now it's time I finished this journal cause damn it's a big one! If anyone has any suggestions about Baron please speak them now and humor me cause I have always wanted to know what you guys thought; though that isn't given a free invite for your ideas to change him cause I already have what I want set in stone. I also would like to know some artists out there that is decent in price for reference sheets that does well with various sizes and shapes of muscled creatures especially of the canine species so feel free to shoot me some names of contacts out there to take a peak at!

I have gone through so much shit (oh look as I type this Viva la Vida plays; fitting actually). Everyone knows I had snow issues from the blizzard and other things that then resorted to me having to sell our home. Well today we have an open house and a lot are interested, but the day didn't start there. Started when we get a phonecall that a cousin back home in Kentucky died today due to Colon Cancer, then get a call saying the electricity is shut off at the house and won't be back on till Wednesday so that fucks up the Open House, and then just now my uncle calls and tells us the results of his exam which happens to lead to all the signs of Prostate Cancer! So FUCK MY LIFE WITH A RUSTY STRIPPER POLE!!! Guess the only good thing is that people are interested in our shitstorm decaying house, but only interested... No buyers yet...

Sad and Regretful News

My wife's cat of 16 years passed away at 11:21PM last night. He lived a good life, but I feel like I could have done better.. Maybe made decisions that would have bettered him or should have done something to ease the pain... I feel like I am at fault even though everyone tells me I am not...
I am in need of help right now though; both mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and everything in-between. If you could kindly take a look and help by spreading the word; it would be awesome. Current state of things
General | Posted 10 years agoHey everyone. Sorry for the lack of uploading, but sadly my financial situation hasn't improved. That said it has finally came to the point we are going to be selling our home within the next month or so; too much work needs to be done and we just can't do it.
On another note; I am sick now with a sinus infection with also an inner ear infection due to it! :D so I am just so damn skippy it's all sunshine and rainbows over here!! Even more so when I found someone to help cheer me up only to find out that they were a fake and toying with me.
So I am sick and very well jaded right now. I have never had such a problem with men, but with women... Well this one quite messed with me so any female watchers out there; I could use some helpful advice.
