Yeah, I'm not dead and I'm sorry for the absence of these months and all the fallen promises. Quoting a certain Glad Operatin System I'm "Still alive", even if my healt conditions are not the best.
Many little things changed and luckily I had the chance to return to work in the fandom thanks to the sweet artist
that I'm collaborating with as her manager (so let's check her account and consider the chance to buy some piece of art from she :D ). Now I can't really get an idea on how to continue the Anthropic Principles project here: while my work had a really big slowdown I never really stopped to write or sketches my ideas on paper, so now my duty is to return to find the flow of work that I used to have, to wake up the creativity and positivity that made me to dream and create what filled my booknotes.
Now you can see just a new bio from End of History saga: Soulnier is a very important character for me and the story of the world itself and for this is a pretty Marie Sue kind of character. XD
Altought is a very spoilerish background, but not totally.
I hope to post really soon new contents, until then I'll repeat myself but gave a look to the profiles of these talented artists:

Just to let you know, I'm unfortunately confined to bed, very sick and waiting to get better. That's why I did not update as promised the page with new contents. However, I assure you that these August and September have not been wasted and I'm continuesly working, but only on paper or on material that I cannot show to you yet.
I hope I will be able share with you as soon as possible what I'm working on, including the completion of the list of Genea's inhabitants, a glimpse of the whole world map, and even a full card game (!!!).
Be patient, as I am now a patient. :)

Giusto per farvelo sapere, sono purtroppo confinato a letto, molto malato e in attesa di stare meglio. Per questo non ho più aggiornato come promesso la pagina con nuovi contenuti. Tuttavia vi rassicuro che questo agosto e settembre non sono stati sprecati e sto continuando a lavorare, però solo su carta o su materiale che non posso ancora mostrare.
Spero di poter condividere con voi il prima possibile ciò su cui sto lavorando, che comprende il completamento della lista degli abitanti di Genea, uno sguardo alla mappa del mondo e addirittura un gioco di carte completo (!!!).

TRANSLATIONS FINISHED!

Finally, after a longer job than I expected, I finally completed and corrected all the texts and translations: now, besides having the usual Italian version, the English version is also intelligible (even if I'm sure that they are not free from flaws because ... yeah, I know ... I suck ... S-U-C-K) and, surprisingly, we now also have a translation into Russian language (I just used the correct version in English and thrown it in Google Translator, do not expect any miracle).
But the news are not over!!!11 (hype?)
As you can see, I started dividing the various submissions into thematic folders and inserting hyperlinks between them so that the material is now somewhat more organic and so approaching to the wiki format that could be consulted allowing anyone to approach the world of Anthropic Principles (and perhaps get lost with in, maybe in the future).
I wanted to finish these arrangements as quickly as possible so that all the materials that I will insert in the future can be already ordered and usable; now for me it's time to start my spiritual retreat in the mountains, a period in which I devote myself to writing and creativity, free from any distraction.
Upon my return in September you will finally see the missing two members of Team 636, Neist and Ydhe, already introduced in Sylvia's profile, plus a very important character in both the chapter End of History and all the history of the planet Genea.
In the meantime I say goodbye to you and send a special salutarion to some friends in the fandom:
goat-kid he's the best one, a master of life for me and I recommend to everyone to get a commission from him as soon as he open any slot (beware, they sell like hot cakes!)

Finalmente, dopo un lavoro più lungo di quel che mi aspettassi, ho finalmente completato e corretto tutti i testi e traduzioni: ora, oltre ad avere il solito italiano, anche la versione in inglese è intelleggibile (per quanto son sicuro non siano esenti da difetti poiché... sì, lo so... faccio schifo... S-C-H-I-F-O) e, sorpresa, ora abbiamo anche una traduzione in russo (semplicemente ho preso la versione corretta in inglese e buttata dentro Google Translator, non aspettatevi chissà cosa).
Ma le novità non son finite!!!11 (hype?)
Come potete vedere ho cominciato a dividere le varie submission in cartelle tematiche e ad inserire i collegamenti ipertestuali tra queste, in modo da rendere il materiale un po' più organico e avvicinandosi così ad una wiki consultabile per poter permettere a chiunque di avvicinarsi al mondo di Anthropic Principles (e magari perdercisi dentro, in futuro).
Ho voluto finire questi accorgimenti il più velocemente possibile, così che tutto il materiale che inserirò in futuro possa essere già ordinato ed utilizzabile, ora per me è il momento di avviarmi verso mio ritiro spirituale in montagna, periodo nel quale mi dedico a fondo alla scrittura e creatività, libero da qualsiasi distrazione.
Al ritorno a Settembre vedrete finalmente i due membri mancanti della Squadra 636, Neist e Ydhe già introdotti nella scheda di Sylvia, più un ulteriore personaggio molto importante sia nel capitolo End of History che in tutta quella che è la storia del pianeta Genea.

Наконец, после более продолжительной работы, чем я ожидал, я, наконец, завершил и исправил все тексты и переводы: теперь, помимо обычной итальянской версии, английская версия также понятна (даже если я уверен, что они не свободны от недостатков Потому что ... да, я знаю ... я сосать ... SUCK), и, что удивительно, у нас теперь есть перевод на русский язык (я просто использовал правильную версию на английском языке и бросил ее в Google Translator, не ожидал Любое чудо).

Как вы можете видеть, я начал делиться различными материалами в тематические папки и вставлять гиперссылки между ними, чтобы материал стал несколько более органичным и приближался к вики-формату, с которым можно было бы обратиться, чтобы кто-нибудь мог приблизиться к миру антропных принципов (и Возможно, заблудиться, возможно, в будущем).
Я хотел как можно быстрее завершить эти мероприятия, чтобы все материалы, которые я буду вставлять в будущем, можно заказать и использовать; Теперь для меня пришло время начать мое духовное отступление в горах, период, в который я посвящаю себя письму и творчеству, без каких-либо отвлечений.

Posted 8 years agoI will translate all the pages as soon as I can: I'm trying to put a more organic way of posting contents, so first I have to publish them all, then refine the (HORRIBLE) translations.
I hope soon or later to make some russian versions too (cause the mainlanguages of furfandom is pretty obvously english and russian) so, as the title says "Be patient".

Let's try something different: to describe the world of Antrhopic's Principles from inside I wrote a little poetry used by the peoples of Genea who believe in the Zapiri's Pantheon.
Maybe this will help you to get a better idea of the work I'm doing. BTW, I still really need a translator or to improve my english skill.
This is an invocation for Poto, an ancient demon who is the manifestation of the Death himself, in her three face of the mother wolf who feed the children with her preys, of the night predator among us all and the sheperd who protect and lead the souls of the deads to the Dumplegard, on the shores of the Dreamscape, where souls and memories become one thing, keeping distance between the two worlds.

Proviamo con qualco di diverso: per descrivere il mondo di Anthropic's Principles dall'interno ho scritto una piccola poesia usata dai popoli di Genea credenti nel pantheon degli Zapiri.
Forse questo vi aiuterà ad avere un'idea migliore del lavoro che sto facendo. BTW mi serve davvero un traduttore o di migliorare la mia scrittura dell'inglese.

FAQ, part Two
Posted 9 years agoFollowing the first post, here's the second part of the basic questions that you could have about TAP.
Q: WTF is TAP?
A: The akronimous for "The Anthropic's Principles".
Q: Does the characters in this world speaks English?
A: No, absolutely. As any other world civilization develops different vocal and writed languages with reciprocal influences (limited by the genetical possibilities of species: a whale, a parrot or a parasaurolopus can create sounds that other species can't), and with the globalization some major languages takes over, like the Common Language in AD&D.
They don't speak english but a language that you could not understand, so for making it enjoyable all they will wrote or said will be automatically translated in english (or your favorite language).
Notice: the same rule works for words, akronimous ad brands that refers to our world: an Uzi submachine gun refers to a real object made by a real industry, but in their world it has a different name and different origins. This decision I made is due to the real impossibility to create in a post-modern fictional world all the items (with their science and history) that a player would like to use for his fursona/avatar. Despite of this I encourage you to create new brands and items, and if you'll like I will fit them in the canonical lore of TAP (if it is possible).
Q: How does the people in TAP looks?
A: On Genea people are basically animals in which, ages ago, the anthropomorphic essence had been blown inside, so they are basically all digidrade and the evolution lead them to the habilis's cocept, improving their abilities of intelligence, expression and empaty. The size's differences had been milded with creatures like little rodent becoming just some foots shorter than an elephant
I think this will give you the basic picture, but some big families of species needs more explanation:
-Scalies: they got proto-feathers instead of hair, they got an hybrid reproductive system with two cycles so they can lays eggs and giving birth as well and lactating their breed. The snakes-like species have saurias digigrade legs, but cause some long time exposure to the disease knows as Drefisula Extremis they develop a genetical abomination that cause some individual to born in naga form.
-Avians: as for the scalies modified feathers became similar to hairs, and from their wings they develop scalied fingers and so hands. Normally they have four limbs, but during the experiments of the ancient arthropod's race they develop a genetical modification that make some of them to have six limbs (four limbs plus two wings, not allways functional). Likely the scalies they got a two-cycles hybrid reproductive system.
-Mariners: the same as scalies and reptiles, except for the limbs that are more saurian-like for shark and other fishes and more otter-like for the cetaceans. They got in both way only a mammals reproductive system, so shark people don't lays eggs.
-Dinosaurs: as above, the same rules of scalies and avian, so some theropod gain back their arms (I'm looking at you, Carnotaurs!) and developing more fingers for major ability. Their skin is mainly scalied due my personal taste (I perfectly awarned about the discoveries about dinosaurs's aspect but at the same time I know that we will never be able to know exactely how they really were, so I didn't pose the problem to myself), but if you want that your character to have more feathers it will be ok, like more hairy people in real life.
-Arthropods: still to decide but not an urgency cause they're all exinct so you can't be an human-insect actually, sorry.
Q: Does anthro's eat each others?
A: No, and when they do it it's cannibalism, and that is a bad thing childs... In the ancient time carnivours attacked their natural preys even in anthropomorphic form, but wars, evolution and civilization make al the anthros pretty omnivorous, with some natural little diffecences (a gazelle for example need to eat little quantity of meat cause for her it's not healty, as for a tiger to not eat any of it).
In the past many wars had their origins in the eating the totemic animals of some tribes but it's all pretty casual, so an anthro bull can eat cow's meat with not any significant problem.

Q: Does the characters in this world speaks English?
A: No, absolutely. As any other world civilization develops different vocal and writed languages with reciprocal influences (limited by the genetical possibilities of species: a whale, a parrot or a parasaurolopus can create sounds that other species can't), and with the globalization some major languages takes over, like the Common Language in AD&D.
They don't speak english but a language that you could not understand, so for making it enjoyable all they will wrote or said will be automatically translated in english (or your favorite language).
Notice: the same rule works for words, akronimous ad brands that refers to our world: an Uzi submachine gun refers to a real object made by a real industry, but in their world it has a different name and different origins. This decision I made is due to the real impossibility to create in a post-modern fictional world all the items (with their science and history) that a player would like to use for his fursona/avatar. Despite of this I encourage you to create new brands and items, and if you'll like I will fit them in the canonical lore of TAP (if it is possible).
Q: How does the people in TAP looks?
A: On Genea people are basically animals in which, ages ago, the anthropomorphic essence had been blown inside, so they are basically all digidrade and the evolution lead them to the habilis's cocept, improving their abilities of intelligence, expression and empaty. The size's differences had been milded with creatures like little rodent becoming just some foots shorter than an elephant
I think this will give you the basic picture, but some big families of species needs more explanation:
-Scalies: they got proto-feathers instead of hair, they got an hybrid reproductive system with two cycles so they can lays eggs and giving birth as well and lactating their breed. The snakes-like species have saurias digigrade legs, but cause some long time exposure to the disease knows as Drefisula Extremis they develop a genetical abomination that cause some individual to born in naga form.
-Avians: as for the scalies modified feathers became similar to hairs, and from their wings they develop scalied fingers and so hands. Normally they have four limbs, but during the experiments of the ancient arthropod's race they develop a genetical modification that make some of them to have six limbs (four limbs plus two wings, not allways functional). Likely the scalies they got a two-cycles hybrid reproductive system.
-Mariners: the same as scalies and reptiles, except for the limbs that are more saurian-like for shark and other fishes and more otter-like for the cetaceans. They got in both way only a mammals reproductive system, so shark people don't lays eggs.
-Dinosaurs: as above, the same rules of scalies and avian, so some theropod gain back their arms (I'm looking at you, Carnotaurs!) and developing more fingers for major ability. Their skin is mainly scalied due my personal taste (I perfectly awarned about the discoveries about dinosaurs's aspect but at the same time I know that we will never be able to know exactely how they really were, so I didn't pose the problem to myself), but if you want that your character to have more feathers it will be ok, like more hairy people in real life.
-Arthropods: still to decide but not an urgency cause they're all exinct so you can't be an human-insect actually, sorry.

A: No, and when they do it it's cannibalism, and that is a bad thing childs... Q: What kind of furry lives on Genea?
A: From the prehistoric age the planet Genea has been populated by pretty much every kind of animal in an anthropomorphic form, starting from the arthropods (now totally extinct), to the actual mammals, so you can find reptiles, mammals (ancient and actual), avians, marine creatures (either mammals and some well known big fishes) and dinosaurs. In the past you could find mainly pure-breed species, but with the flow of time some cultures starts to accept cross-species hybridation, in some case for the need of survival (for example gryphons and dragons) or as the present just for the pleasure of it. Some kind of highly chaotic hybrids were called in the past as Chimera, in a very dispregiative meaning, recalling the aspect of the devils and other malicious creature of the folklores.
Q: So Gryphons and Dragons uh? Magical creatures indeed?
A: Nope, this kind of creatures are just some really well know hybrid that have a so succeffull impact in the ecosystem to start to reproduce with only the other members of their people (for not risk to having weakened children) starting de facto new races: in these case gryphon come from the mixture of avian people with the mammals in the search for a strong and capable to fly beings, while dragons come from an high hybridation from different species of dinosaurs, keeped isolated from the world and other multi-racial civilizations.
Q: Humans and monkeys?
A: Due to the artificial (or at least not spontaneus) origins of the world and his fauna some species, considered too much destabilizing has been choosen to not make appearance, such humans, many big families of micro-organism and all not-proto primates, all for preventing any episode of mass extinction.
Q: Is this a magic fantasy world, a sci-fi world or modern like world?
A: All of three, depending which age are you analyzing. We start with a period of myths at the dawn of civilizations, then we go througth the first big empires and geographical discoveries, reaching the knownedge (or rediscovery) of magic, letting the people to develop technology that will soon lead to the industrialization (a power more reproducible not being binded to casters or ancient artifacts). From that point we come to something like ours modern times, but with a look to the future thanks to the new informatic, genetic and robotics knowledge drived by the help of magic.
Q: How does magic works?
A: That a really looooong question, for now I can just tell that magic is a sort of impoverished version of the Deus Ex Machina power that created the planet, the magic is ruled by psyshical laws but at the same time is a cheat of them, working on the spreading of the shrinked dimensions in the Calabi - Yau's space.
