He's an entertainer, and got banished due to a botched puppet show. ....Because that sorta sounds like something the Tallest would do. >.>;; Right? (Moar Puppets Moar Puppets!)

Not sure what I want to do with him... I don't want to make more than one... and it seems weird to randomly stick him on earth with Zim and be like "He's been there the whole time. Yup yup, just like Minimoose, been there the whoooole time."

So EVERYTHING ELSE is on hold until I either get sick of him or figure out what to do with him. I always jump headlong into a new fandom - been a fan of Zim for about 5 years now, but just recently discovered ZaDr. wtf? (Yaaaay ZaDr~ <3)

Okay, I didn't die, I didn't get my hands chopped off in some horrible accident.... I just got sick and couldn't seem to get over it >.<

For the last couple of months I just haven't felt 100% well at any given time - and 2 weeks ago I was down pretty hard with a bronchial infection (that the doctor said would PROBABLY have evolved into full-blown pneumonia - joy) and an inner ear infection that kept me kinda lightheaded and off balance. I was sleeping for spans of 12-15 hours a day and not feeling rested at all which I mostly attributed to being sick, but when the antibiotics ran out and I was still dragging, I was like "Alright time to go to the doctor..."

SO it turns out I have Hypothyroidism. I've started a hormone therapy regimen that seems to be making some slight changes but will take a few weeks to really start effecting my system.

So there's my excuse for being lazy.

And I'm determined not to load anything onto FA until I finish  Blue-Ferret 's commission in the hopes that it will encourage me to get off my butt and actually get it done - thus far, notsomuch. Between work and sleeping such long hours and feeling overall kinda crappy, I haven't really done any artsing at all, much less anything post-worthy.

tl;dr : Sorry - I've been lazy. Blue, I'll get it done - srsly I will. ....Eventually =/

The wedding went off great and we have lots and lots and LOTS of pictures to get developed - but as for artsting, we were so busy the whole time we were there that my sketchbook never even got unpacked =/

So in the meantime LET ME TELL YOU A LITTLE STORY ABOUT OUR WEDDING NIGHT

We were the very last people to leave the reception - We wanted to see off all of our friends and family since we hadn't seen them in so long and probably wouldn't again for much longer. We went to the hotel, still in our wedding attire, checked in to our room which had been upgraded to a Suite (Though he said that if he had known we were coming from our wedding that night he would have put us in a Jaccuzi suite - but alas, none were available) and got undressed. We got a little frisky, then we got really tired. Then we got a little frisky, then we got really tired. Then we turned the tv on, gave up on "getting it done" and fell asleep.

Yay we're boring. Can't even have sex on our wedding night. In our defense, we were REALLY tired after the reception.

I'm sure you all wanted to know. *nodnod*

As of Sunday, February 14, I will be mostly unavailable for about a solid month because OMFG I'M GETTING MARRIED!

We're going to be starting our 4-5 day drive to Chicago early Sunday morning and thus will have no internet connection for a minimum of 5 days. We'll be taking our Craptop with us but art will probably be minimal considering I'll have more important things to think about (OMG WEDDING HOLY CRAP @.@ WHERE'S THE MUSIC GUY!)

The Craptop, though, may be terminally ill. Drifter has spent the last 4 hours in safe mode trying to clean it up some and fix some of the problems causing it lag and just general malfunctions. So far, he's not been very successful and it may be time to try to find a new computer. And in addition to another new computer we desperately need a computer DESK but we have such a small space to put it in and such a huge computer to put on it that we're having some issues finding something suitable. But that's a rant for another time.

So. Anyway.

This year I resolve to:

1) Survive. Survive the wedding, survive the move, and just generally survive life in the upcoming year.

2) Upload more. I sketch a lot of stuff that I never upload (and then gets lost...) because access to the scanner is quite limited due to living with the Father in Law, but once we're alone we shouldn't have that problem.

3) Draw more variety. I tend to do a lot of my character in various outfits and stuff... and while I'll still do that, I want to try more characters - maybe I'll pick a few people whose designs I like and try my hand at them.

4) *ehm* Finish  Blue-Ferret's prize >.>;; (SORRY >.<)


I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's celebration, and I hope your hangovers will be gone by the time you have to go back to work.

99 days until my wedding and COUNTING.

Apparently all of our first choice schools to be near to restart our degrees, and pretty much any of the schools in the areas we considered moving to for work and climate, have either eliminated or are in the process of phasing out their Counseling Psychology programs DX

Well while I'm still doing them, since they don't take so much time and thought and fighting with the computer as regular commissions, I thought I'd open up the option for those who might like to get a paper furry.

I'm thinking $10 per cutout to cover the cost of cardstock, the postage and the mailer to send it in (They're way too big for a regular envelope.)

So. Been a while, eh? Two months since I updated my journal, a full month since I uploaded anything.

I started working a new job. It's a short-term thing until the wedding, and thank God for that, because I haaaaaaaaaate retail work with a passion. People are so fucking rude. They use their lunch breaks to go shopping and get all pissy because I'm heading off to mine. Well fuck you.

Anyway. -.-;

I may or may not upload some sketches. At some point. If I ever make them. I get home and I'm EXHAUSTED. I haven't even drawn anything recently, much less painted it and made it ready to upload. Not like that's a huge tragedy or anything, considering the only complaints I get about my lack of work are from within my own household.

The wedding is still on track, thus far. I ordered my dress, Drifter bought his suit, he looks hawt in it, too. My dress won't be here until frickin' JANUARY. >.<; And we gotta head out 2 weeks in advance to get all the preparations and paperwork finalized before the ceremony, so that leaves me with like a week and a half in which to get any neccessary alterations. -.-; oi. It should work out okay, hopefully.

I should finish reading Long, Dark Tea Time of the Soul at some point. Eventually. If I still have it. Where did I put my books >.<

I got bored with Second Life.

That was fast.

For now, I'm going to writhe in pain and moan about today's dental work.

In lieu of current situations and economy, I've dropped my commission prices. Not that I expect to get me a huge influx of commissions, because when have I ever had a huge influx, but just because it seemed like a good idea at the time.

And the reason I haven't been posting much to my FA gallery lately is because I recently discovered SL and building has suddenly eaten up all my time.

It has a toddler bed, a crib, a changing table, and matching rug. Unfortunately nothing I've built so far has any scripting or pose balls except for some very very slight scripting on the fountain to make the water move and the crib to make the mobile (partially) spin. (I've got no idea how to script. >.>; ..yet)

Second Livers? Lifers? Lifors?

I am currently seeking someone to make a custom avatar head for me (and maybe a tail if it looks right). Just the head and some fitting hair. I've kind of pieced together everything else whether I've made it myself (very very very little) or bought it from different sources, but the one thing I lack is a furry head that matches my fursona. Luskwood isn't taking custom avatar orders, and I don't know if Lost Furest would anyway, and I'm still going to look at Anthro X-tasy but they have yet to do any feline forms so I'm hesitant since I don't know what they would look like.

I'm willing to pay with either a negotiated amount of linden dollars or a free digital badge commission to whomever can customize a furry head for me.

For those of you who saw my wedding picture and made nice comments or favs, thanks a lot, and I'm sorry but I've chosen to remove it.

An incident has occurred with my special gift being put somewhere out of my reach or control and apparently people who react to this situation by being upset are deemed to be absolute basketcases. So therefore I've pulled it down from both my FA and my jaxpad gallery and now the only copy is the one that's floating somewhere in the black hole of imageshack.

From now on, if I have a piece that is really special to me, I won't be putting it online, because the fact that someone might take it is so widely accepted that for me to be angry is apparently inacceptable.



EDIT Eehhhh.. After the first couple comments I feel like this would be an ideal time to add on something I forgot to mention in my haste and upset:

This incident was not a theft. It was a somewhat misguided gesture made by a friend. But the fact remains that if I make pictures that are really special from now on, I won't be posting them online.

OMG we totally set a wedding date! Finally! =D Our official wedding date is March 2nd of 2009. I am Very excited. Somuchso that Drift keeps reminding me that it's nearly a full year away every time I look at veils and stuff >.>;;

So we have a full year to find work, get a house (we're looking at Ohio now - Minnesota seems a smidgen too far North for me.), get jobs near the house, find an obgyn, make all the plans, get people up in Chicago for the wedding, get the cash for the honeymoon, make all the arrangements, and get married. Not all necessarily in that order.....


SO ANYWAY.

Drifter wants me to draw more (draw MOAR he says, draw MOAR), so before I get frustrated and peeved off, I'mma have a quick poll.

Should I draw:

A) More of the Sugar & Spice series.

B) Explain who the frig are the cubs in that scrappy marker pic.
