Just a reminder that my commissions are still open and since I'm less than 100 pageviews away from 1000, I'm going to offer a free commission to the first person to send me a screenshot of my even 1000 views. I'll be looking at timestamps both on FA and email depending on where it's sent, so I'll know who's first. =D The winner will have their choice of the following:

In lieu of current jobmarkets and the fact that we can't get married until we have our own house, Drifter and I have been househunting and found a nice-looking condo in a nice neighborhood in Florida that we think would be perfect for us to start out as newlyweds.

Problem is, though, as always, a lack of funds. Our current estimate for cost of moving and setting up payments, utilities and insurance, is somewhere around 9 thousand dollars, give or take a thousand, and we can't go anywhere until we have this money in hand for survival when we get there.

I'm offering $15 simple character portraits, in color pencils.

After some debate, I've decided to start taking commissions. I've put as much detail into my commission info tab on FA that I could think of at the time, and I hope it's clear enough. They're not officially open as of yet as I'm hoping to finish a few more example pieces before setting up slots.

School. We all know it sucks.

It especially sucks when the semester is beginning to wind down and all your classes suddenly try to stuff as much material as possible into you before finals week. Final papers, projects, research.. And the normal weight of homework on top of all of that. For those of you who may have not yet experienced college life - it's a lot like highschool, except you have to pay to go.

So for those few of you that may have been wondering what had become of me since I disappeared, I'm buried under a mound of homework and semester projects.

Dunno when I'll be back - some time in December, I guess.

I have decided to set my requests to 'open'.

This is not somuch to say that I'll take any and all requests thrown my way - there is a long list of content that I am not currently comfortable with being associated in my artwork. I would rather say I'm open to Suggestions at the time and if you have anything you'd like to see done, toss it my way and I'll consider it.

I would prefer these to be rather vague as to which characters and what they might be wearing as I am not making promises of what I'd accept nor am I taking commissions at this time. While I am happy to hear your suggestions for future art pieces, I am not currently taking requests for character drawings.

I don't mean to sound hostile, I just want to avoid the possibility of getting buried in an avalanche of requests that I would, for the vast majority, probably reject.
