Hey all. Just a small journal since I haven't made one in a bit. Now that I'm sort of semi-regular on here again, just figured I would say thanks to all who stuck around through the long hiatus I went on and to any new arrivals that I have garnered since posting again. I greatly appreciate it.

Also, in a way, this is also to try and help me break my shell a bit by saying that I've posted my socials on my page now as well. I'm hoping to sort of become more social in terms of just interacting and getting to know some people, including fellow artists who can maybe help keep me on top of actually posting on here (Sounds a bit conceited, but I feel being forward is best). I haven't broken the initial hesitation of reaching out, but I'm working on it.

So if you're up to chat, just check out the socials on my page. Just appreciate it if you don't contact if all you are looking for is RP because that isn't really a thing for me much anymore.

For those of you who follow me here, I felt it was a good time to explain why I was gone for as long as I was and the random updates to galleries and everything. Outside of the usual spiel of working as an adult and all that goes, just back in September, I lost my husband of 13 years to multiple strokes. I'm still going through the grievances that come with that, which is why my account on here has been spastic with changing from time to time.

I haven't really been in a state to do digital art in a while, despite managing to snag a copy of Corel Painter 2023. I've been doing a lot of traditional arts that I'm hoping at some point I can get digitized and posted, just don't really have the willpower to bother with it much. I did manage to snag a bluesky code and made an account there as well since I can't really see myself using twitter except for following artists who aren't anywhere else.

On the topic of the longer hiatus before the incident, I don't really have an excuse outside of just having fallen out of posting here. I ended up not really drawing much throughout that time except on occasion when the mood hit. I'm hoping to change that at some point, but I feel I might end up using mostly bluesky as it's just a nice site. But only time will tell right now as I just sort of wing it. Anyways, that's about all I have to say so anyone who reads this, I appreciate it.
