Well its been a few years. A lot has happened. Now that I have control of this account again I think I should update you guys.

Sorry for the vanish. I know a lot also don't know this, but I changed fursonas too. I've been posting art under a new account and will continue to do so for the future. I'm gonna keep Bayson around, that will always be a part of me. But so is artwork and now that I'm goin as something that better represents the real me, I wanna post my work there.

So it's official. The wedding is set for October 31st. We honestly didn't plan for it. It was open and since a lot of our life events tend to fall on a holiday, we went for it.
Evan is really giddy and excited. I'm happy but still in shock. I can't believe it's happening. Wow..

I shall give you the short and sweet version first, then the more explained version for those who wish to know.

Why the change?
----
To put simply, Bayson is who I always wanted to be. For 15 years, he is who I wished I could be. I have lived out a lot of my dreams through him. However, over time I wish I could see more of me in him than I have put in. It was like we shared a soul, but weren't fully connected.
I feel more comfortable with myself than I did 15 years ago. I thought it would be fitting to make my fursona to be more like me. Bayson was fully developed and while I changed his looks a bit over the years, I wouldn't feel right giving him the overhaul that would be needed.


A polar bear?
----
I love wolves, I truly do. But I have fallen in love with polar bears. Was this due to Beartic? I don't entirely think so, but perhaps the seed was planted then. Later on my desire to see them grew. Then when I went on a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo and seen them there (which they were a big draw for me to go) I felt the deal was sealed. I was certain this was what I wanted, though it started a personal internal battle.

I slowly started to let my mates in on it as I felt sure about it. It came as a surprise to them and we all needed time to adjust. When you are something for 15 years, it's not so easy to switch as silly as it may sound. After I designed and named him, I started an account on FA. I wanted to make sure this was what I wanted.

I didn't want to make a public announcement until I was 100% certain of this. I badly wanted to tell everyone and at times I felt torn, that I was deceiving people. So please understand this isn't the case, but just checking to avoid any problems in case it fell through.


What about the art?
----
I will keep uploading here. I will still answer to Bayson. Think of it as perhaps Bayson being a stage name. It is the name I have built over the years. It's who I created to allow me to interact with my characters and other like minded people like you. He is my history and a part of me.
I also understand the difficulties of moving accounts. Only a handful of people will notice this journal. Moving is hard on the artist and I feel harder on the watcher. I am so grateful for every one of you, I feel this course of action would be for the best.

In the end what it all comes down to is for my personal self, I am now Boreas. You can find all the art I get for myself in his account as well as the art I make of him there. But for this account? It's business as normal. Truly as if nothing had ever happened. I just wanted to make this public as I feel openness is vital in the relationship between a artist and all the people who support him.

Hello everyone.
I wanted to leave this here as I have been quiet and unable to upload anything new
For most of this month my day job has gotten really intense. After working 10 hours a day + weekends, you aren't left with much time.
Originally I was to have off this Friday-Sunday. However since monday I have been really sick.

I went to a doctor yesterday though theres not much he can do. I rather not get into the gross details, but it is something that needs to be taken seriously. Unless things change I'm going to have to go to the hospital.

I just wanted everyone to know what is going on as I don't know what will happen. It's also one of the few times I've been scared with my health.

I never wanted to make this post. But it has gone on for so long I feel that it's time others should know.

My last real update was in February. This was back when I still had a fair amount of vacation. As of now, I've moreorless exhausted it. My day job is building engines and since October, we have had a large demand. Part of which I assume is due to a better economy. Sadly, management is the worst I have seen in my 10 years with the company. Morale is at a all time low as we are working 7 days a week to the amount of 65-70 hours a week. A normal day is 10 hours. Combine that with driving, eating, sleep and a shower, my free time is quite short. This is the reason for my disappearance.

I still owe badges to a few individuals, which I am so sorry it has taken me this long. I'm still making progress, and almost everyone has seen some sort of update. I will continue to do this, however I do understand if the commissioner would prefer a refund and can do this as well.

I still have many pictures I would love to do. My interest for art is still well intact and I really appreciate everyone for your watch and faves. I will certainly post something when time allows. I am unsure when, but let's hope soon! Perhaps by then I may be able to take commissions again too.

On one last note, I will be attending Anthrocon with my mates. The past two furry cons I have been to (not naming) were a total bummer. I have high hopes for this one however. Even though I have been to this convention before, it has been 6 years and I'm a tad scared. So if you see me, please be gentle ^^;

It's that time of year again. My life contract was fulfilled and I decided to renew for another year.
So now I'm no longer in my twenties and finally made it to 30. I'm old now haha! I still taste delicious so that makes it ok.

But in all seriousness, here's to another year with you furballs <3

Hello everyone! This is just a small update to keep people in the know.

My day job has increased its demand to the hours we were before- or have always been. The easy hours didn't stay long at all. Because of this its slowing down my speed drastically. 10+ hours of physical labor kills my ability for much work. They're doing this as it is the last week they can. However once this week is down, I wont return to said job until the new year.

That said, I'm quite sure completion of current commissions will be done by the end of the month. My current batch is at different stages of completion, more toward the final stages. The next batch is the conbadges which won't provide any issues.


I know others are interested in badges, and possibly a full commission. This will likely be some time next month that I will open once again. While my day job is too unpredictable, I will at least have vacation time once more and can better schedule commissions around that (it may still be work, but I enjoy drawing the ideas you guys give me).

In closing, I just want to thank you all for watching, commissioning and for your patience. Communication is something I want to keep open at all times. Unlike last time, things are NOT on hold, but just slow for this week. :)

Hey everyone- as much as I have tried not to do this I think the truth is I need to put commissions on a small hold due to my job.
In October we have been working everyday and some weekends. "Some" is now every weekend and 8 hour days are a thing of the past. In fact it's been a few months since I've had 8 hour days. Its always 9, 10, ect.

By the end of the day I'm left so drained, and many times I have other tasks I must complete around the house or things prior to coming home.
I've been able to push through but its finally hitting me bad and have been feeling ill. I can't give the images my best when I'm this run down. I'm really sorry.

I will be returning to work on them either Thanksgiving day or Black Friday. I will continue to push as hard as I can and give my commissioners the best to my ability. With having Thanksgiving through the weekend off, I should make some serious progress.

I truly appreciate the understanding of the matters. The commissions and people interested in such, as well as my watchers/fans are what keep me going and drawing. You guys have always been really awesome to me. So thank you for the support <3

A lot of my friends know that I am a HUGE Alex the lion fan. I've had a crush on him since the first movie. I remember walking out of the theatre with my mate Lancer and telling him my interest in him. Good laughs were had. So now, with the third movie released I had to see it opening day.

I found it a disappointment.
With that said, it is a Dreamworks movie so there is a certain quality you can expect from it. But because it was a Dreamworks movie, I held it to a high standard that they rarely ever disappoint for me. Alas this one has, for me. Lancer on the other hand, enjoyed the film. If you are interested in it I would say to see it. But for me, once was enough. Now that I let the movie sit over night I think I can speak as to why I felt the movie wasn't on par.

The soundtrack wasn't as strong on this one. Hans Zimmer once again creates some beautiful pieces but in this installment the number of tracks is lacking. Instead they opt for current music which isn't a shock as pop culture is normal for Madagascar. However originality isn't in the tracks as it was in the past.
I also have a personal dislike for Katy Perry and the song Fireworks was in one of the more major scenes. Dreamworks did well with the animation with the music, but it made me groan inside and kept me from enjoying the scene. Then again, if "Circus Afro" is the best original song they could come up with, perhaps its for the best they left the music to others.

I felt the story was drawn out and not much was accomplished. If not that at times it seemed rushed. Three new characters were given a good deal of screen time. A sea lion, tiger and.. some other feline. I don't remember if they even said what she was. The males were a nice addition but the female, I think they could have done more with her. I wanted to like her but they don't talk much about her. Nor did they with the sea lion but with him that seemed ok.
There is a new romance, two actually. Which is one thing that bothers me. That they HAVE to shove romance into the movie and in so, having to push the characters out of acting naturally to the degree of a fanfic. It seemed rushed from one location to the other in the beginning as well. And you might notice a moment of déjà vu too. The main villain I felt was unnecessary and wasted time that could have been better spent on the story and character development. The main cast is fully developed. But in this new surrounding, the circus, and the new faces I felt could have been better done if the time was devoted there.

Aside from the forced romance, I felt the characters did well to hold up as before. How the movie ends however, it makes me wonder what they could possibly do for the next film. As this seems to finish a major story, if they are to stay true to what they said before and make a fourth movie then the only thing I can think of for them to do is pop out some kids. The humor of the film wasn't as strong to me. I remember people complaining about the humor in the last few movies however I enjoyed those. This installment got a few laughs, but those laughs were excellent ones. The majority of the jokes were "Meh", however my mate Lancer seemed to enjoy them. So this is likely a case where you can't please everyone.

All in all, if you're interested it's worth a look. But for me, it's one I would like to forget.

Has anyone gotten ME3 for PC and been able to get it to work?

I got my copy today and you are forced to go through Origin. However until Origin says 'This copy is good!' it wont install. Which it can't because it says the servers are full or its under maintenance, so no install for me. I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue?

I'm...Pissed, to say the least. I mean, here it is I purchased something. The collector edition for $80 and I cant even play it. Where as I COULD have gotten a pirate version last week. But no, I said I would wait. I wouldn't do that. It's frustrating that someone who plays by the rules can get screwed over. It sends the wrong signal to the consumer. Give us money for a headache, legal copy, or work your sources for a hack copy that works from the get go.

Really, is that the message they want to send?

Hey everyone! I wanted to make a journal sayin that art wise I'm probably gonna be quiet for a few weeks.
Reason being is work has picked up a lot and I'm having to work a lot of over time. So by the time I get home and make something to eat I'm usually ready for bed lol. We're not getting much in the way of days off, but all the work means more money and I got some plans for that which I will explain more below.

I do feel that this kinda sucks since I have various pictures at different stages that need work on, but those will come once work eases off. I'm sure most of you understand and will be here when I get back from all this anyways. I know all this month is filled as is next month which really took us all off guard.

Anywho, a few people know and I posted pictures saying that I was working on a comic of my character Razor and I'm happy to report thats already happening. Its a huge project but I feel ready to do it. It's actually one of the reasons I've been doing the Neopets comics to see how I would fair. Once work has calmed down the comic will take a lot of my art time, but naturally I will continue to do other things. I still dig Neopets and want to draw more stuff of it. Also kinda had other art ideas too but we'll wait and see what happens.

I think that covers it, now I need to go to bed!

Ok the story to which I know of,  StormdragonBlue drew an image which someone decided to obviously hack Sears and put the products up.
Its interesting to me and shows me the time we live in now has really changed. And as always, you can never be 100% secure.

I've watched the new MLP and personally I thought it was a cute kid show. I don't so much care to watch it but for what it was I thought it did have good writing, it got the characters across well and had its own style to it. I'm not in the target audience and it's not my kind of show, but from what I seen I thought it was good.

That aside, I'm painfully aware how many people like it. Ok, cool. And I've seen adult images made of it. Again, to each their own. Now unless you already have the FA banner blocked, you'd have noticed it has been changed to Brony Affinity. I'm not sure why, my guess was a Pony con or because of a new season starting. But it helped draw this to light all the more that, aren't they technically cubs?

For my answer, I went to wikipedia which has a good list of information about the show, some of which I did find really interesting even not being a fan of said show. From what I read, the main characters ages are in human years between 12-18. Note that the legal age differs from state to state but I believe FA goes with the more common 18 years. I don't believe there is any official site to get an actual age on the characters. But some characters such as Spike the dragon was mentioned to be a baby within the first two episodes. This makes him a cub, correct? Now if the ponies age range is from 12 to 18, its fair to assume more than 1 falls under the 18 range. Which would make them cub.

If this is all true, why is adult images of the show allowed when FA has a clear and strict ban on cub related material?

As it's been going around and I'm sure some of you know, FA is getting revenue by allowing a program to track where you go.
From what I read, FA put the code in to allow the tracking which is against the law and that you must tell your users. Fa planned to change the TOS but hadn't made it live yet. So they acted first, got caught and now its all coming out if I've been reading this right.

I;m sure FA eats a lot of cash and this is one way to get it, but I can't help to feel it was done in a bad way. Tracking your users or letting others track them is a really sad move for a community like ours. I remember reading on the front page that FA was wanting to better the site. This is NOT the way to do it.

Some people have left which I know comes as no surprise. This has happened before over other things. But for the first time I felt things have really crossed the line. Even if you opt out of being tracked, when your cookies are cleared you will be tracked again.

Can anyone tell me, does any other furry site track you like this? I'm currently thinking no. I don't know even if Deviant Art tracks its users like this. In the end, the trust with the user feels abused to me. This is information that some people might find useful:

Thankfully, I never have too much trouble on the internet. I'm usually a very passive person. But recently, I just dont know. I dont normally post journals out side of my works, so please allow me this one time to do so.

When to leave someone alone? When they ask you to. When they tell you to. Dont push it any further.

When you are blocked by them should you contact them? Usually not. When they block your FA, IMs and Email- thats a good sign to leave them alone.

Contacting their friends or loved ones will not help your standing. It takes two for a friendship. If one party DOES NOT WANT IT then it will not happen.

Also, bad mouthing your friends both current and former, does have a way to get back to them. Moreover if they care about the person you're bad mouthing.

Pinning blame on them because they will not hear you out will not help the matters. A great friendship might have been had before, but if its abused long enough it wont last. A persons actions speak louder than their words. Think of friendship like a bank account. Its a give and take. But if one side takes with out putting more in, it will go into the red. If a friendship breaks, or explodes and the other party has no interest in rekindling it, leave it.


In the end this is my message to a certain person. Leave me alone. This is harrassment and I will not tollerate it. Consider this my final warning. I will contact who I need to to have this taken care of if this continues. If you actually cared about me, then you would let me live my life the way I decide to.
