Democrats; It's Your Fault To
Posted 9 years agoOk, first off, I didn't vote for either of the two major candidates, not because I didn't like Trump, or I didn't like Hillary, but because intrinsically I believe the only party with the best interest of the well being of the country as a whole at heart, are the Libertarians.
To my Republican friends:
Congratulations on your victory with the worst canidate you have ever nominated. Now I know why he was nominated, Republicans for years have run establishment moderates, hoping to pull centrist Democrats and Libertarians to their canidate, instead of running a canidate that represented the desires of the mass of your electorate base, until someone with enough name recognition to cause a stir, disrupting the establishment, ran, causing the party as a whole to jump at a chance for a change. As a result we got the egotistical reality TV star as a president.
Now stop calling the democrats freeloaders, lazy, and delicate. I know plenty of lazy, freeloading, and delicate republicans, and also know plenty of democrats who are very hard working, dutiful people, who deserve your respect.
To my Democrat friends:
Condolences on your loss with the worst canidate you ever have nominated. Honestly I don't know why she was nominated. Bernie was a far superior choice, we're his economics sound? No, not at all, but he was trying to live by his morals, which is at least admirable. Instead you run someone solely vying for power, who consistently attempts to pander to minorities and lower class people in the most insulting manner, whilst showing her disdain for them by wearing exorbitantly priced outfits, and promising to put the coal miners out of business, alienating Union workers, who were like,y to have voted for your canidate other wise.
Now please stop saying that it was exclusively uneducated white males who elected Trump, I know plenty of white liberals with little education, furthermore, do the diverse nature of the state in which I live, I can assure you he had support of women and men, of all races and sexual orientations, and forcing others into how they should vote because of their ethnicity is the definition of racism.
To my freinds on both sides:
You both caused this, I can't tell tou how many times I've heard I'm voting for X because Y is worse, in this election, and the one before that, and the one before that, and... You get my point, voting out of fear, while the canidates in both sides get worse, and worse, and worse, is what allowed us to get to into the mess I. The first place. We must stop voting for fear, and vote for what we believe in. Take a stand, the elephant in the room, and the ass at the bar can't keep controlling us with fear if we don't legitimize it.
Oh and one last thing Ron Paul 2020!

HTTYD Slash Fiction
Posted 11 years agoWhy can I not find a decent story of Gobber/Stoick slash fiction? Resources anyone?
Do You Know What Sucks?
Posted 11 years agoRight now I do, and that's all I do. I hate being on a med that makes it almost impossible to get a decent erection. Hate with the heat of a thousand suns. It's been a week since... Well you know. Only another three weeks of this med, and then I should be off it for good.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 (spoilers)
Posted 11 years agoSo... Gobber is gay! Which is totally awesome because he's cute, but not as cute as Stoic, who died. But in the whole a really good movie!
Dragon Age III
Posted 11 years agoIn anticipation of the release of Dragon Age III, I am starting my final playthrough of DA: Origins, DA: Awakenings, and Dragon Age II, I'm going to do my OCD, do every quest approach, which will combine all the choices that I have liked in the previous games. This will include in DA: O/A being a dwarf noble, romancing Zevran, destroying the Dalish elves (siding with the werewolves) siding with Behlen, saving the Cirlce, have a hardens Allistair bare Morrigan's child, and make him king, and saving Vigil's Keep. In DA:2 this will entail, being a mage, being pro-qunari, romancing Fenris, hardening Sebastain, killing Anders, making my brother a Templar, and siding with Meredith over the Mages. (I know I'm an evil son of a gun.)
So anyone else doing thier "ideal playthrough" what choices do you plan to make?
Seriously stoked for the next game!

Pixar Theory
Posted 11 years agoOk, I've become total obsessed with the Pixar Theory as of late. (Much to my co-workers chagrin.) It seriously blew my mind. There are some holes in the theory, due to movies that have yet to come out, and the lack of cross community input, but I am slowly filling them in.
You can view John Negronni's original theory at http://www.pixartheory.com

Welcome to Video Gamers Anonymous...
Posted 12 years agoWow... Just wow... I was blocked by a user today... What was my heinous crime you ask? I didn't curse him out, I didn't belittle him, I argued with him... About game consoles. See I love to argue, captain of the debate team in High-school etc. etc. etc. I welcome the chance to do so. Few things thrill me more than posing facts, presenting issues, and rebutting in an open argument. And I'm willing to argue almost anything (except religion, I argue that with my close friends, beyond, I leave the atheistic points alone, and ask that they leave my Christian ones alone) But I was truly shocked when I was blocked... For arguing about a game console! So you like Nintendo, I like X-Box? I don't hate you just because I don't like your console and if I insult your console it is not directed at you! Some arguments can cause the loss of friendship etc. (Hence the no religion rule) but if your identity is so wrapped up in a game console? Wow... Just wow... I guess I'll fall ack on what my debate teacher said in high school (In heavy Texas drawl) "Boy, if they walk away, you win the argument."
You know what I hate?
Posted 12 years agoI hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate HATE! Allergies... That Is all. (Did I mention I hate allergies?)
Regretting and Remembering
Posted 12 years agoWell somebody better be dying... That's what I said, 10 years ago today. I was a freshman in highschool. It was movie night at my parents house, a night of some acclaim. It meant pizza, and soda with dinner, it only came once a month, as we sat in front of the tube. I don't even remember what the movie was, but it was just starting, when the phone rang, and my older sister, never one to resist the siren call of that infernal device, picked it up, which meant we had to pause the movie. No big deal, but it ticked me off that she was delaying my pleasure time to chat endlessly with her latest beau, so I shouted "damn it somebody better be dying!" I glared at my sister and watched her go white as a sheet, with a trembling voice she said "Mom, it's for you." My mother hurriedly picked up the phone, and listened for a few seconds before bursting into tears... My father than took the phone to determine what had happened, my mother's best friends 8 year old son, an epileptic, had the stomach flu, and while sleeping, had thrown up his medication, and had a very bad seizure... And died 2 hours after that call. I know full we'll his mother heard me yell what I said, I couldn't look her in the eye at the funeral, and haven't really since. But my foolish, and insensitive words, as well as the choked sob that his mother had when they closed the coffin, still haunt me to this day. Watch your words folks, they can reach far beyond thier intent.
Work Attire
Posted 13 years agoSo today, I sent one of my new hires home to change for wearing a "I <3 Gay Porn T-shirt". He informed me I was homophobic and that it was his: "right to free expression" to wear it. I said "tough luck go change". Would I wear that T-Shirt, yes, but, we work retail, I wear an oxford and tie to work, all I ask of the associates is that they way modest, unoffensive, clean attire. If it had said I <3 Gays, I would have let him wear it. Let me say he was shocked when my boyfriend came and picked me up for lunch. LOL. Here's the point to all this: Is it ever appropriate to wear anything with the word "porn" on it to work?

Passionate
You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Introspective
You like your own company; you're a very interesting person. Tracking your own mental processes, knowing what you're thinking and why you do what you do, is important to you. Often, what's going on in your mind is more compelling than what's going on outside. For the most part, those with a high score on the "introspective" trait enjoy reading, taking long walks, learning new things, and other solitary activities. You are not someone who is constantly looking to be among a group of friends; you never feel bored when you are by yourself.
Competent
You strive to master everything you undertake. You tend to learn quickly and do not shy away from challenges.
You are not a "que sera sera" type of person, nor do you go easy on yourself when attempting to master a new skill or get a job done.
Astute
You are a quick study. You generally don't need to have things explained to you more than once. When presented with a problem, you will often have an instant understanding of where to look for the solution.
You do not take your sweet time when presented with a new task to complete or problem to solve. You don't avoid assignments that require you to learn new skills.
Intellectual
You are thoughtful, rational, and comfortable in the world of ideas. People find you interesting to talk to. You're the living embodiment of the saying "You learn something new every day." In general, those with a high score on the "intellectual" trait are employed in such fields as teaching and research, and are enthusiastic about reading, foreign films, and classical music. You do not avoid abstract conversation, experimenting with new ideas, or studying new things. It bores you to stick to the straight and narrow of what you already know.
Curious
You like to get to the bottom of things. You're not content knowing what someone did; you want to know why they did it.
You don't simply take things as they are and move on; you're not content skimming along on the surface; you don't feel you're wasting time by digging for the meaning of things.
Innovative
You come up with a lot of ideas; if one doesn't work out, there's always another waiting in the wings. You often have interesting solutions to difficult problems. You're practically a one-person brainstorming session.
You are less interested changing the world than in dealing with things as they are. Unlike those who spend all their time trying to solve problems, you prefer to zero in on things that work and stick with them.
Creative
You are good at solving problems, coming up with original ideas, and seeing connections between things, connections that most other people miss. People with a high score on the "creative" trait often are employed in such fields as finance and scientific research, and enjoy avant garde and classical music as well as literary fiction and scholarly non-fiction.
You do not shun abstractions and concepts in favor of the concrete and tangible.
Sympathetic
You have a knack for knowing what's going on in the hearts and minds of those around you, without their having to tell you explicitly. People tend to turn to you with their problems because they know you care, and that you will likely offer good advice and a helping hand.
You do not feel that people with sad stories are just looking for attention, or have brought their problems upon themselves.
Accessible
You're comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn't like what they see it's not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the "accessible" trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.
You don't see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
