I'll be posting exclusive nude photomanipulation pics on DeviantArt, so make sure to follow me there too :)
So, why am I opening a Deviantart account?
I was contacted by a FA moderator that gave me a warning about submission removals.
Two of my submissions were considered nudes (Ellie Suiting Up and Green Cat Fairy), so I tried to photoshop away the nipples on the sharkgirl but they were still considered as nudes, so I'll have to take them down.
Also, I need to cite the copyright owner for every stock photo that I used: that's cool, but I took them from a free Wiki gallery supported by users so that means that I should reverse-image search every single stock to discover the true photo owner, ask for permission, then cite him/her.
That's an impossible task, also I can't just cite the Wiki gallery as the source because this just won't work.
Long story short: I'll have to take down all of my gallery expect for two or three photomanipulations.
I really think that FA is too harsh when it comes to photomanipulation: if you are an artist that loves drawing, you can draw anything you want with a few exceptions; if you are an artist that does photomanip, then you can use only stock photographs of girls with clothes on and be extremely vigilant when it comes to copyright.
However, I think that what is really important is the artist, not the art.
This means that I'll continue to post art here, according to the rules of FA, and I'll use my Deviantart account to submit nude photomanipulation pics that are not permitted here on FA.
