He's been working wayyy hard to provide comic creators, furry and otherwise, with an outlet for their work. The company has plans for the fuure, but that future depends on good sales of their current titles, and, well.. that's where they need help right now.

Angry Viking Press (publisher of Andorozon, Extinctioners, etc) is holding a Kickstarter crammed full of incentives, to help fund new comics and pay their artists, and if they raise enough, even release action figures of some of the characters in their titles.

They've already met their target, which is super-awesome, and shows how slow I am at getting round to writing journals XD But if any of you would like to add a little more moolah onto their total, or simply help spread the word, that would be swell :)

I'm... just not so sure about the character design in the remake. And I keep pining for Steve Purcell's art. Mmmmm.

Voting is open to everyone and ends on April 19th - all sorts of examples of the furry fandom's creativeness have been nominated, including Softpaw Magazines #3 & #4 and Finding Avalon #1, but you should totally vote for the entries you think are most deserving of a win.

Also, I hear the award certificates are imbued with mystical powers which protect the winners from Grues and low-level radiation! But I've possibly been misinformed.
