General | Posted 5 years agoWhen I changed my name to BelovedBeast I thought it would be a name that would last. I discovered over time that the name did not properly represent me or fit in with myself and my goals. It also was not a unique name. There were other businesses, movies, and books that had the name BelovedBeast. Due to that I decided to retire the BelovedBeast name.

I was able to pay for the repairs and get things fixed up. I am still waiting on the dash because the delivery guy was not kind to the package and damaged the one the shop ordered. So once that comes in we will swich it out and everything will be fine. I can now resume chipping away at the rest of my debt.

I got extra shifts this week because a coworker's friend passed away. Please take care of your family and friends. Covid is hard on all of us. If you are in need please reach out to the right people so they can help you. Please, please, please, I can't stress it enough.

It used to be on spread shirt and red bubble, but spread shirt deleted all my stuff since I have been inactive for years and Redbubble removed it because "The likeness is too similar to the original character rendition NBCUNIVERSAL, owner of rights of those characters Feels your work infringes on their rights."
I respect NBC want to protect their rights, but I could get in trouble for these companies selling my image, and I don't like people making money of my shit that is not me.
Please help me report these guys and get them to remove my work. These people are stealing other peoples are too!!!
I submitted DMCA to them both already. I am approaching Alibaba's legal team now but they have to approve my ID before they discuss further.

Here's the diddly doo da deal. I am slowly chipping away at commissions but they are taking longer than expected. Trades are also being chipped away at as well but also slow. Please bare with me and thank you for your patience Both are being delayed due to the following:
-I am an essential worker, I work at an animal hospital. My day doesn't always end at the scheduled time. If a pet is sick or we are still serving a client in the building, I cannot leave till they are done and gone. We are also one of a few veterinary hospitals still open and are booked out almost a full month.
-I am the only caregiver of my family. Husband is away serving in the military helping food banks deliver food. He's been serving since the beginning of march. I have 3 special needs pets that need caring for and all the house responsibilities are left to me.
-I am rearranging my home for sanity and comfortability reasons, taking away from work time.
-I am helping a friend move out of a bad situation into a new safe space.
-Lastly I need to sleep... My health is not great right now. I have had 2 covid scares, but luckily I am ok. My conditions are worsening due to stress, me getting older, and just because that is what chronic health conditions do. I busted my knee helping my poor mom after a nasty fall, and now it won't bend all the way. I am having mental health concerns due to being under alot of stress in home life and work, taking on all the responsibilities alone, and just being unsure about myself as an artist. I am also still recovering from being without my Autoimmune suppression meds for 2 months because doctors thought it helped with the covid but it did not. I am also technically disabled soooo....yeah
PLANS MOVING FORWARD:
-I am setting a schedule on my calendar through gmail to make sure I am setting aside appropriate time for commissions as well as for my other responsibilities
-I am learning new crafts to keep myself from burning out on too many commissions as well as for self therapy. These crafts are at a small discount right now because I am needing examples. If you are interested, let me know.
----No sew blankets: optional stock patterns or custom seamless pattern made by me for you
----Realistic yarn tails, for those who like wearing tails but don't want to wear part of a dead thing
----hand sewn pillows: optional stock pattern or seamless patter made by me
----Luxury fur blanket: optional foot pocket
***cost depends on cost of materials and time to make the item***
-Once this cue is complete I want to try my hand at iron artist challenge. I want to try some new techniques/styles and work on my speed as well as my other art skills in general. Would anyone be interested at $45 starting per piece? As soon as I get my august schedule goes up I will set a schedule for that. There is a tentative one for now. I am looking to draw more human characters, but will still draw furry/anthro characters. Fanart commissions, and commissions of my own characters will be discounted 15%.

-I am sick and tired of artists running off with people's money. It is not cool and makes me beyond disappointed and sad in for our community. So I made a contract that holds both parties accountable to strengthen the client/artist relationship. I want to be trustworthy so you feel good about investing in me and my art and will want to return and commission me in the future.
-If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to note/dm me and I will answer to the best of my ability
