Wild Life
General | Posted 9 years agoIs it just me, or is there a LOT of animated movies this year? ...Actually, I'm fine with that. I like animated movies.
Anyway, I can't say anything about the quality of the movie, but the trailer struck my heart a bit. An echidna!? A Pangolin!? A LOWLAND TAPIR!?! Not even a Malayan Tapir, and even MORE underrated tapir! OMG! It's nice to see some underrated animals get love, and these three are animals I want to see more in media. In fact, as homely as Rosie the tapir is, I still want to hug her. I think she's adorable regardless of ugliness.
I actually drew the three a while ago, but... I was so unhappy with the drawing that I'm not sure I want to submit it.

Benny Jackdaw is PISSED!

An RP about bad***es that sing about themselves.
General | Posted 9 years agoFor some reason, I've become slightly obsessed with big guys who sing about how tough they are. I was thinking of starting an RP somewhere revolving around the idea of characters that sing about themselves when fighting and an evil organization who hates singing and wants to kill the singing bad***es.
I have been playing Fossil Fighters for a while, and I kind of fell in love with their rendition of Mammoth. He looks so happy and confident, and his trunk is thick, juicy and mighty looking. I don't know why, but I really like big elephant trunks. ...So I was trying to make an RP character with a similar appearance to Fossil Fighters Mammoth, but... I wrote a small song for him yesterday, but I'm not sure about it. Here's the excerpt.
"Ha ha ha, a gang of thugs think they have what it takes to rob me? ME? Come on!" The thugs pointed their guns at the large mammoth. He stared and squinted down at the thugs, unfased by their projectiles. "You don't know how to use those things, do you?"
"Why don't you test us?" one of the thugs asked. "If you don't give us your wallet right now, we will shoot it off you."
"Fine, but first can I say a few words?" the mammoth asked. "Just... big... brave... strong... pain... "Trunk-a-dunk!" The mammoth kicked a radio next to him and a fast piano beat started to come out of it.
"Gather round contestants, time to play a mighty game.
Face your hefty, heavy host: "Trunkadunk's" the name.
Life of crime's a deadly life, full of tears and pain."
"Stop this nonsense now or I'll pump lead into your brain!" one of the crooks shouted.
"Now you're getting it," the mighty mammoth Trunkadunk said before kicking the radio again, changing the song into a tribal song with arythmic drums but a noteable beat. "So... then... we...
start this game with our talk of trash,
then I counteract with a mighty lash,
then I pick you up with my curly trunk,
then I drop you down with a burly dunk!"
While he was singing, he was acting out his lyrics against the middle thug. He held onto him after slamming him onto the ground, but his friends retaliated, shooting him in unspecific areas. One hit his shoulder, the other his jaw. ...But Trunkadunk ignored the shots. He then kicked the radio again, and the song got somewhat slow, but sharp, like a song you'd hear on a French gondola.
"But still, the thugs, they fear no brute.
They've yet seen best from this big galoot.
But grabed by shirts is of my plan,
I'll play you like an accordian."
Trunkadunk grabbed the other two goons by the scruff of their shirts before banging the two together onto the one in his trunk. He did kind of look like he was playing an accordian when he was smacking them around. When they looked dizzy, he dropped them onto the ground and gave the radio one more kick. The song went back to a speedy piano symphony."
"The thing to keep in mind when you fight is to have fun.
But you can't have fun with bullets, so let me crush your guns.
You really should have thunk before you went against my trunk.
Now you know you've no game in the game of Trunkadunk."
I had the idea to add different melodies to his song, as I thought it would make it more creative and fun... but I'm worried I made it more corny than it needs to be. I'm not sure I like it. I originally started with the second section, which I liked, but added the others, and I don't know if they worked. I'm also not sure if it worked for me, that others would want to RP in an RP like that. Any thoughts?

Chance for free drawings
General | Posted 9 years agoOver at
Earthquake-Warriors I am having a little silhouette challenge here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20629542/
Anyone who can give me a good drawing of what they think this creature might look like will get a free drawing from me. ...Mostly just trying to advertise the group, because honestly... I'm on the verge of shutting it down. NO ONE has taken an interest in the group, and I'm starting to get frustrated. I've been trying to get interest in a tasteful fat group, but no one seems interested. If it's just going to be a place to dump all my fat art, I might as well just remove it.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the most ignored person on FurAffinity, and it makes me very frustrated and sad.

Splints
General | Posted 9 years agoI am at my wits end with these splints. I've had these splints for almost a year now, and it's like a nightmare I cannot wake up from. Unfortunately, I can only use the internet while either sitting in a seriously uncomfortable chair or standing for LONG periods of time, both of which damage my legs. I want to seriously cut down how much I'm on my legs, so I am considering that I might have to cut out internet from my daily routine, so I might not be on as much. Don't worry about me, I will be back on when my splints are fully healed.
Changes
General | Posted 9 years agoBe prepared for some drastic changes from me. These changes you may or may not like, but in time I hope you get used to them. Don't be surprised when you see these changes.
Also, my muscle-gut fan group for those who are interested.

Earthquake-WarriorsI guess this was kind of on my to-do list for a while. I know this site has fat groups, but I kind of wanted to make a more tasteful one, and one that focused on fighters and such. I also wanted to make a place for searching for RPs. Still, I don't know how well this will go over, as I'm still not entirely proud of or comfortable admitting that I basically draw a fat character almost every other picture or two. It feels like a rut that I should really get out of.
Still, I can't help but admit I like them to an extent. I think what I like about the big guys is durability, and how they look like they can take a lot of hits: also how they look like they can shake the ground with every step. That's kind of how I got the name for the group: insinuating that the characters displayed are big enough to cause earthquakes.
Open for RPs
General | Posted 10 years agoIf anyone is interested in RPing with me. I do have a few things I would like to state.
1: I tend to prefer action RPs, but I will do Slice of Life on rare occasions. I will NOT do romance RPs.
2: I AM will to do RPs with fetishy characters, like characters who are fat, big footed or like swallowing things whole, but I will NOT do RPs revolving around said fetishes. I'd still like to keep things tasteful.
3: I generally don't RP as a human, but... that's kind of a given.

Bertram Wants YOU!
General | Posted 11 years agoWhat's that? Quarantine 2 is accepting other applicants? Yes, Bertram is unsatisfied with having only 18 contestants, and this time he wants twenty contestants. ...But who? Who is he asking for? Why, he's asking for characters from YOU!
"Heads up Milly, you got competition."
That's right, welcome to my "Your Character in Quarantine 2 Contest" is here. Do you have a cool Pokemon anthro OC you'd like to see in Quarantine? Applications are open, and here's your chance to get yourself not unknown.
"So someone let the Skitty out of the pantry."
But remember, only TWO Pokemon OCs will be allowed to join Quarantine 2. And I know what you're thinking. "What's in it for me if I win?"
"I hope Bertram has something better in store."
The winners will not only have their characters put in Quarantine 2, but they will also receive a colored drawing of their choosing. As a special treat, I will EVEN be willing to draw, *gasp* an Eeveeon if I have to.
"Please though, don't force it on me."
Rules
1: There is no contest deadline involved, so take your time.
2: There are OTHER Pokemon besides Eeveelutions, Lucario, Vulpix, Charizard, Greninja, Pikachu, etc. Only Legendaries are banned, but remember I will judge on creativity, and common Pokemon like those are not recommended. So if you're going to submit an Eeveelution, make sure to really flesh their character out. ...That goes for all characters though.
3: It's also not recommended to submit a Pokemon that has already been used in Quarantine. ...But also not banned.
4: Participants are not required to color their entry, just a simple sketch will do.
5: No fetish characters allowed. Even when I draw fat characters, I still try to keep things tasteful.
...Not sure what else to say.
"I don't think it's going to work."
This is my first contest for FA, and I'm kind of nervous. I don't know if anyone will join.

Quarantine 2 Status
General | Posted 11 years agoJust to let the few people who care know, while I may be posting art for Quarantine two, I will NOT start writing the fanfic until I have finished writing Benny: World of Mythica: No Rest for the Weary. I really want to actually publish a book, and Quarantine 1 was just practice for it. I hope, sometime this year, I will be finished with B:WofM Volume 1 and I also hope to find a company who will have it published.
I'm still worried, though. Even if the story is good, will I find a demographic for it? I want it to be a book targeted at teens while readable for adults as well, so I'm trying to mild-up the cuteness of the characters, but I'm still worried it might not sell because "Iz nut abowt hoomans."

Busy Busy Busy
General | Posted 11 years agoNo I am not on a major drawers block, it's just that I've been wrapped up in other things like video games and my Pokemon fanfic that I've had a hard time finding time to draw. Plus I'm working on a winter art trade for someone on RP Repository, and it's taking a LONG time to do. It doesn't help that I have to draw a humanoid: the one thing I hate drawing most of all, but the fact that I'm trying to draw it like I care because, well, I hate drawing art for someone and feeling like I half-assed it. It's taking forever to draw but I'm trying to put my heart and soul into it. So that's why I haven't uploaded anything for a few weeks. So for anyone who cares, don't worry, I'm still around. Quarantine will hopefully be finished the first weak of December anyway.
Heroes Guild (Elemental Force Mythica)
General | Posted 11 years agoGetting near the end of my second Elemental Force project and I only have one hero left to draw, as well as a bunch of group pictures, and let's not forget the badguys which might I add there are twelve to draw: one villain redesigned, one replaced, and 10 brand new villains. But what comes next? Remember Shackler? A Labolas who uses deadly chains, gloves and boots as weapons? He was a concept character for a Mythica version of Elemental Force. Since the characters will not be using elements this time around, the name "Elemental Force" would be ill fit, therefore the concept is officially called Heroes Guild.
Unlike Elemental Force, who's idea is largely based off of Skylanders, Heroes Guild has completely different gameplay. It still utilizes figures and projectors, but plays more like an open-ended RPG much like Elder Scrolls or Monster Hunter. You can go on missions, visit villages, use potions, buy new weapons, and you can even have so many moves to use, rather than just four of eight. These moves do all kinds of different things, and can be upgraded AND infused with the abilities of other heroes. Like you have a brawler like Shackler, but also have a figure of a Yang mage, Shackler is able to infuse his moves with fire, light, and earth type moves. A charm mage allows Shackler to control his moves more like a remote controlled chain that can easily latch onto opponents. Even a Fencer is able to give Shackler some unique moves
Like the Elemental Force, Heroes Guild has 10 types and 30 characters.
The Yang Mages are...
Summer Breeze: A Bokun Torun who's adept at healing magic and the abilities of summer.
Clamp Shade: A Chouchin-Obake who houses a strange fire. She is attached to an animated wooden cane with arms and legs and can use serious fire magic.
????: A creature Summer Breeze finds in a villains cold prison. He is a demon who controls Earth, and talks about his "other half."
The Yin Mages are...
Name Pending: An oni who can summon a frosty cane to help him fight. He can fight melee as well as use magic.
Name Pending: A warg who can use shadow magic to teleport and do other miraculous things.
????: To be made up.
The Illusion Mages are...
Menagerie: A Buer who uses books and can summon things out of these books.
Name Pending: A Kasa-Obake who works as a kabuki dancer and weilds dual fans. She is able to summon many different spells.
Name Pending: A serpent who wields electric rods powered by magic. He seems to be completely resistant to his own electricity for some reason. He can also summon waves too.
The Charm Mages are...
Orbital: A World Tortoise who controls elemental orbs of magic.
Dancing Blades: A Kirin dragon who wields some floating weapons with a mind of their own.
Ursus Maximus: A Kin-Taro human named Girav and his pet bear Max. Max does most of the fighting with his own paws, but Girav himself is a skilled mage, able to not only enhance Max's abilities by borrowing his own life-force to the bear, but do a little bit of magic by himself.
The Necromancers are...
Name Pending: A Baku who likes to summon skeletons. He loves summoning giant bone dragons the most.
Tomb Raiser: A Tawaret who raises mummies and zombies from the crypts below her. Her child can also use magic.
????: To be made up.
The Brawlers are...
Shackler: A true anti-hero, he's not likeable to start, but is skilled at using chains as weapons.
Emperor Tiberius: A miraj who can turn into a giant grotesque monster equipped with blades coming out of the back of his wrist.
Name Pending: A minotaur who builds for the Scrauser, is also a skilled fist-fighter who weirs strange bracelets that are heavy and promote strength. Despite his brawny appearance, he is surprisingly fast and agile.
The Fencers are...
Foreplay: A giant rat who fights on all fours. He likes using either a sword, two flails, or a pair of knives, and switches between them.
Hammer Slammer: A Basilisk who uses a great bludgeon. He is decked out in heavy armor.
X-Slay: A blind Scrauser (Original Species) who wields strange five-tipped spears. He has bandages over his head because his X-Ray vision renders some things invisible if he doesn't.
The Trappers are...
Name Pending: An orobas who sets traditional traps like caltrops, tripwires and other things.
Name Pending: A moleperson who is skilled at digging her own traps. She is looking for her missing brother.
????: To be made up.
The Rangers are...
Ace: A dragon who's aim with a crossbow is renowned worldwide.
Name Pending: A boomerang wielding tanuki.
???? To be made up.
The Technos are...
Name Pending: An androsphynx who fights using a strange flail with a tracking device that can target multiple enemies. He is in coalition with Menagerie and Tomb Raiser.
Name Pending: A Hawaiian Yatagarasu who is a kabuki dancer like the Kasa-Obake. She wears objects that power up her natural fighting skills. Her bracelets help power up a spell called Kamehameha, which summons a giant laser that takes the shape of an ancient Hawaiian king of the same name. (In other words it's sort of a spoof of the Dragon Ball laser, just that keeping the name is the only way the spoof will make sense.)
Turbine: A rebelious Manticorat who wants better meaning in life than bullying other races. He rides a mechanical suit and wields long throwing blades.
This isn't something I'm doing yet, but may do in the future is draw concepts for this idea.

Art Trades
General | Posted 12 years agoJust putting it out there that I am, in fact, open for art trades. I dunno I just feel a bit charitable and want to draw other peoples characters. And, I have to confess I wouldn't mind seeing someone draw my characters as well. Here's how I do things:
1: First, I draw. A person requests I draw something, and I draw that and show it to the client.
2: If the client is unhappy, I will work on it till the person is happy. I want to have a fair art trade, which is why I usually go first.
3: The client draws what I request. Note: I will not draw or ask for Porn or fetish pictures of any kind. Fat Characters/Big Pawed characters are on thing, actual fetish pictures are another.
On another note: I've been running out of things to do online, so I've found more time to work on my EF project. I'm already done with Bobsled and Yin-Fang, and I even added the dragon on Yin-Fang's shirt.

tannytheratty is a person from Oregon who is currently being evicted from their home unlawfully. Spread the word to see if anyone out there can help. :)Remaining villains
General | Posted 12 years agoAlright, I've finally figured out what the last 8 villains are going to be for Elemental Force. It took me a while to figure out the last two, though.
Name: Harpy Queen
Element: Air
Species: Eagle
Bio: The queen of Free Bird's land, she continues to seek out Free Bird to exterminate her for exile. She is the second biggest Elemental Enemy next to Anchor Weight. She is crude and ambitious, and can use her talons as a natural weapon. She also can use powerful wind magic.
Name: Snarl Tooth
Element: Poison
Species: Opossum
Bio: A rather unpleasant looking opossum with an immunity to all poisons, like Gas Giant. He also has a huge tail which he can use as a weapon. As well, he can breath poison. He also has combat training. He's not all that bright, but has a deep resistance to pain.
Name: Heat Choke
Element: Heat
Species: Coyote
Bio: A fiery coyote in a metal suit who can bend fire to his will. Straight-forward design, to be frank. Except his metal suit.
Name: Dr. Cogs
Element: Steam
Species: Mole
Bio: A small mole scientist who operates in a giant mechanical suit.
Name: Deep Fryer
Element: Thunder
Species: Electric Eel
Bio: A witty, sarcastic eel with extreme electric abilities.
Name: Dollmaster
Element: Life
Species: Cat
Bio: A cold creature who controls others. She can control those who live and those who are dead.
Name: Anchor Weight
Element: Water
Species: Hippo
Bio: A gargantuan Hippo who can summon a lot of water to create rooms and huge pools, then grabs his victims and uses his weight to drown others.
Name: Super Visor
Element: Cyber
Species: Robot
Bio: A huge eyeball inside a cybernetic suit who can shoot lasers and control cybernetic devises. Unlike the other characters, he is not based off of any animal.
As for the next house portrait, I've had to work all week and I generally don't draw on days I have to work. I plan on starting the Cyber house Saturday.

Ugh, Steam House.
General | Posted 12 years agoI'm still working on Steam House group portrait. It is taking a LOT more work than the first one. Took me three to four days just to finish Frog Launcher, and I barely even started on Gear Head, and Steam Skunk has yet to be started. But for the few people who care, don't worry I am still working on it. I'm just behind schedule. Thank god I don't have a due date.
