Posted 11 years agoSo my finals are coming up (Oh joy!) and I'm gonna need to practice my character writing/reading so please bear with me, as a lot of my art titles will feature Japanese characters.
I need to get used to Katakana and Kanji though, because I have hiragana down pat. ;A;
Practice makes perfect, I guess...
Also I need to get used to all the conjugations and blah blah blah so be expecting japanese flying everywhere in the next few weeks. (I'm trying to get a style that doesn't take a week per picture)

I would like to inform you all that the ending was really rude and omg they left it at the worst cliffhanger ever. ;_;
I don't want to wait for a year for more of this crap. Q_Q
Just, if you haven't watched it yet, don't watch it, save it until the next season is about to come out, save yourself the trouble of "dafuq was that" and "Well shit what the hell is happening now???" like honestly.

Hair cut
Posted 11 years agoSo I got a much needed hair cut today, and I wanted to get something new and "fresh" and well
I have a mohawk
And it's so weird??
I'm used to it on one side since my hair used to be half shaved, but it's weird having the other side shaved now too.. ;;
I think the lady who did it made it uneven on top of my head but you can't really see it anyways from the hair covering it, since I don't plan on spiking it up anyways.
But all in all, I like it so far yay
Also- I'm still trying to finish that one piece of art I've been working on for awhile, I'm just being slow about it. :c

Posted 11 years agoSo I just came back from the new Spider-man movie and IT WAS REALLY GOOD.
The soundtracks were A+ and the freaking film aesthetics were great and Andrew Garfield is a great actor and that entire movie is great, yes.
And the girls behind us in the theatre were bawling at the end, so I guess it must have been really good, cx

ploxtracks seems to have lost her 3DS, and she thinks she may have left at the con?
She has a journal on her page- but if anyone has seen a purple 3DS with signatures all over the front, some animal crossing charms, and a tales of the abyss game in it, accompanied by a charger, please drop either of us a note it would be much appreciated. ;-;
It's not in either of our con bags, so unless it's buried in one of our rooms (which I doubt) it might still be at the hotel (we have yet to check) but if anyone saw it lying around or anything, please let us know!

Fur-Eh! Day 2!

By the end of the day my makeup and wig just looksed gross so I apologize to anyone who say me at the end of the day. Cx
Buuut- I will be uploading some pictures soon! I had a lot of fun, and my sister ploxtracks and I are apparently stealing feet because she bought the only pair of foot-paws from 
temperance and the only pair of hoof-boots at the con (whoops).
Buut- despite being exhausted, I had a good time!
Thanks to all the suiters who even t hough I didn't know you very well- stopped and talked for a bit!

Buuut- First impressions of Fur-Eh!:
-Super friendly community! Slightly older than what i'm used to, but everyone is super friendly and I haven't had one person not smile back at me today!
-Confusing building! It's slightly hard to navigate, and a lot of the things are all over the place.
Despite the confusing setup, it was awesome today! :D
I hope there's more people tomorrow, as it was pretty quiet today though cx

So, since I have school Friday I'm not dressing in anything fancy- and just going casual. However Saturday and Sunday I'm going to be in all my pirate gear!
I'm more of a hallway con-goer, and so I probably won't go to that many panels or anything.

Posted 11 years agoSo, for Fur-Eh!, Since it's pirate themed, I was thinking of doing a gothic/pirate Lolita coord with my furry accessories (Ears/tail)
I don't know if that would look too weird though?I might have to try it on first, but since I have an eye patch, and a hat I can probably re-shape with wire to make it more pirate-esque and lotsa jewellery and such, I figured I might be able to pull it off?
I dunno, I'm going casual Friiday since I have school that day, but Saturday and Sunday I wanna go full out dressed up- but I dunno if Lolita + Pirate + Furry would look very good?

Posted 11 years agoSo I just came back from watching the new Captain America movie and it is A+ and hot dang it was really good. *u*
Also, I started working on a new drawing but my art takes like 3 days to finish because I draw in 10 minute intervals because I get too distracted and normally work like:
Day 1. Lineart
Day 2: Base colors and basic shading
Day 3: Complex shading and finshing touches
So if I want to start commissions I'm gonna have to work on that and condense it to one day. ;o;
Also, I started working on a new drawing but my art takes like 3 days to finish because I draw in 10 minute intervals because I get too distracted and normally work like:
