2 years, second entry, god I write a lot
Posted 12 years agoWell, aside from a change of jobs, everything's still close to the same. Not that anyone really cares, I guess.
Still living the dream to be a badass biker with my Schwindian motorized bike. Fear my weedeater engine, reen reen! Even taken the nickname "schwindian" at work.
"Have you guys seen Ben?"
"Who the fuck is Ben?"
"Oh, Schwindian, anyone seen him?"
"Oh yeah, he's over there"
Recently rekindled my love of building things and trebuchets...oh boy, that doesn't send up red flags, does it?
Currently built a small wood kit one and enjoyed it. It wasn't much of a challenge though given my decades of experience building models. So my next attempt at one is gonna be the Stirling Warwolf kit which I shall aquire with my bonus this year.
Along with a new rear wheel for the bike
And a new comp. This one's going on five years now at the least and is getting finicky. It's also so outdated that the new vid card I got for it, while working well, only works at half power and when graphic intense stuff pops up just slams my comp into the floor. I mean it was kinda meh when it was new....this time though i've found some good top of the line gaming rigs within my bonus budget that just need some extras to get up and running.

Posted 14 years agoI stumbled across a question on a website and figured I might as well write down my feelings on the matter...it'd make for a good first I guess.
"Are you afraid of death?"
Short answer; Yes
Long answer;
Yes, and not because I'm worried about a heaven, hell, purgatory, some sort of afterlife at all, or even that I'll still have porn on my hard drive that others might find.
I'm scared of death because of what I'll miss. I personally don't believe anything comes after death, just nothing, the end of existence.
What i fear is that I'll miss things, like, I won't be able to experience things or be around to enjoy a warm sunny day.
Granted I won't be able to care afterwards, but there's so much I want to experience and enjoy.
