Posted 10 years agoIf any of you are interested in regular commissions and conbadge work done, I have a good friend of mine who's seeking work, and comes with good recommendation: http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/.....atuxtoxicityx/

Quick commission slots open, work update.
Posted 10 years agoDoing a new thing this week. One FAST piece (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13970405/ level of detail, 10-20$ worth), and one of the other bigger pieces I'm working on, per day.
If you're interested in being one of the fast commission persons, fling me a note, a reference pic, and we'll see what I can do for you.
As for the rest, the others I'm working on this week are thus:
Jaycen inked, coloring, should post mid-afternoon
darkdragon005 shading nearly complete for first pic, maracas pic being basecolored
theZackrabbit sketching
~ammu~ sketching
Silver_Fly sketching
yurikokinai inking
Figure hittin' two bits a day should be easy. More updates as work continues.

One commission slot open, fast n' fabulous.
Posted 10 years agoFirst person to get me a reference link to a one-character image gets the slot.
30-40$ worth:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10328632/
50-60$ worth:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10344396/
I'm trying to keep this one-character only, so as to be able to keep both quality and expedience as high as possible.
This will be done within the day, along with one other commission I'm working on.
darkdragon005, which is already base-colored and awaiting shading. Only break I'll be taking is in 8.5 hours, for pole dancing class, and then it's right back to work, when I get home.
Paypal is tck6206@gmail.com, and I work half payment up-front, half upon completion.
This is looking to be a bi-daily experiment, now that I'm back into doing artwork full-time. So if everything goes well, I ought to be able to not only complete what's already on my list, but take in more at a steady pace.

Fucking brief movie reviews.
Posted 10 years agoSeen a rash of pretty good (and some not-so-good) horror-themed movies of late, figure'd I'd share my take on 'em.
Debug (2014):
Team of government-sanctioned criminal hackers have to retrieve a derilict prison ship after wiping the security AI, which (hurdur) fights back. Has been cited as the "Event Horizon" of this generation. Stick with Event Horizon. Suspenseful, creepy, some genuinely cool parts and presmises, but meh. It's alright, just feels a cunthair-width too B-movie for my tastes.
Oh, it's also got that Peeta fucknut in it. He plays a dweeby cunt. He dies. I laughed. <3
... Nah, nevermind. It's worth it, just for that part. :D
Open Grave:
VERY GOOD MOVIE. Keeps you guessing right to the end, suspenseful, powerful, very worth the watch. Won't spoil it, just get it, watch it, and watch it again! <3
Cube:
Much like a Rubik's Cube, it's a puzzle. Much like the puzzle, this miserable pile of diseased yeasty rectal discharge hurts my brain, and makes me wonder why I'm even trying to enjoy it, in the first place.
It starts off with a really interesting premise, a bunch of randomly gathered/kidnapped prisoners in a bigass cube-maze filled with brutal traps, and the ENTIRE MIDDLE HALF of the movie is them figuring out the math to keep from running into the trap rooms vs. the safe rooms, on their way to the exit. The cop among them is the only villain. NO explanation to the reason the death maze was made is given. Only Rainman gets out.
It's long, it's tedious, it's boring. Fuck this shit.
Europa Report:
SPAAAAAAACE!
Spoiler alert, (for which you will thank me) because I'm saving you your precious time; everyone dies, there's life on Europa, much science, such discovery, wow. Had a great premise and execution, right up to them landing on the moon's surface. My suspenders of disbelief snapped and left my balls being caressed by the wind the moment they drilled through TEN MILES OF ICE IN A SINGLE FUCKING DAY. Never mind the creepycrawlies that terrorize them do so from BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE ICE. TEN MILES THICK. Nuh-uh, not diggin' it, and this one GLARING problem could have been corrected with even a MINIMUM of research into the moon in question. Pass.
As Above, So Below:
"Urban Archaeologist" (That's not a thing. It's just plain Archaeology. :B) discovers supposed entryway to hell whilst searching for the Philosopher's Stone. Creepy, horrific, suspenseful. Makes no goddamn sense, but I liked it.
Devil's Pass:
College student recording her Thesis for her Masters in Dumbfuckery cajoles 4 other hikers into following the footsteps of the Dyatlov Pass incident, wherein all 9 hikers mysteriously died at the base of the Ural Mountains.
Dragged on at times when they were camped and just talking, but this fucker kept me wondering and creepified, right to the end. See it. I'm not sayin' shit about it.
******
Fin.
Also, finally back to a daily artin' schedule. If I don't have something posted tonight, it should be no later than by this next dawn, and more, afterward. :3

St. Patty's Day
Posted 10 years agoDon't get stupefyingly drunk.
Don't wear an Irish flag. Don't even wear an American flag (If you're from 'Murica)
Don't worship or praise "Saint" Patrick.
Just enjoy a beer or two with loved ones. You don't need any more, and you don't want any less.
That's all the Day's about.

Posted 10 years agoI've done football.
I've done handegg.
I've done cross country, numerous martial arts, and years of weightlifting.
I've done P90X. I've done Insanity. I've done P90X and Insanity, AT THE SAME TIME.
I've marched over hill, vale, and mountainside (then climbed them) with everything I hold dear, strapped to my shoulders, for weeks on end.
But NOTHING I have ever done in my life has ever prepared me for the raw, undiluted pain, of 25 minutes of handstand exercises, for pole dancing routines. You know you've hit your limit, when not only do you have to tap out early, but you can barely put your cunting seatbelt on, before you drive home.

Rekindling the Spark.
Posted 11 years agoThis past 2 weeks leading up to AC had been occupied by finally making room in my life again for regular artwork. The two most recent pieces I'd posted are commissions for two of my dearest friends,
Azurtrix and
TheZackRabbit, and not only was getting them cranked out a breath of fresh air, but I have even more sketches I've done and will be posting soon that I'd whipped out in the same weeks, leading up to Anthrocon.
Even better, I was able to sit down, hang out, and relive art-jamming with the most excellent
Yawg. I'd hung out with him at MFM many yonks ago, and havent been able to see him for years. When he'd asked me to do him the honor of adding to his sketchbook, The Book of Moar Mon, I'd hesitated only because I didn't want to leave my boi,
CaranthirLinwelin, waiting for me too long to do so. But he was supportive of me doing so, and when i'd sat down to crack out a good, wankable pic of Renamon... Hell, I even surprised myself. I'll be posting that image when it's fully inked, soon. :D
Further, I'd had the delight of hanging out with the absolutely amazing
Cebelius and
Wyla with my whole room crew. She surprised the dickens outta me by whipping out a pic of my Esper fursona, at the same time I did her a gift art pic of Asta!
... After a weekend this good... I feel genuinely rekindled. So much so that not only have proven that I can and WANT to get back to regular art production, but I even want to hash out the details of my own porn comic, once I fill out a few practice pieces and the remaining commissions I owe.
Either way, I feel AMAZING. It's so good to be back! <3

Wear a loincloth, free art! (no, seriously. :V)

Arite. Been perpetually delayed by work and life in general, but things have finally loosened up and I'm fixin' to do a THING. So drop your socks and grab your notes, you people will take pencils!
I've had what has been a bit of an unofficial fashion club with my friends for a good bit now. Its never been named, but I have this tendency to loan out clothing to friends just for shiggles and gits, right down to loaning things like corsets, whole bellydancing, or bondage outfits for cons or dances in town, and the ilk. My lovely boi
caranthirlinwelin and I have been jokingly referred to as the Loincloth Mafia.
I've been horribly bored by typical men's fashion, but this does include modern female fashion, too. So I'm taking it upon myself to cajole some more color, shine, and sex appeal into this world!
Here's the deal:
Get a loincloth. Satin, silk, whatever. Don't know where to get one? BAM!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/29062410697.....84.m1423.l2649
http://www.ebay.com/itm/29088005496.....84.m1423.l2649
Two options, right there. You might want to get more than one, because those satin ones feel AMAZING. You'll never want to wear anything else, ever again. <3
Kay, so next, wear it to a con. I encourage making a whole outfit around it, as it themes very well with bellydancing and harem-slave-esque outfits, but you can work it into other styles, as well. Hell, be daring if you want; minimal jewelry, makeup, and sandals/slippers, and you can wear it with nothing else! But for you of a boob-ular physique or just like to accessorize, here's a few top ideas just to get you started: http://www.ebay.com/itm/39051363167.....84.m1423.l2648 http://www.ebay.com/itm/28060633382.....84.m1423.l2649
Take a picture of you in said outfit, at a con.

Congratulations, you're now in the Loincloth Mafia. :D
As it stands, the group has about half a dozen members with
~Ammu~, whom is also an admin for the
Femboy page, being the newest member and prepping his outfit for Confurgence, in Aussieland. Lookin' forward to seein' how the whole shebang turns out, babe! :D

Posted 12 years agoKay. Some of you who know me personally know I've been on this really fucked up horror movie kick. Started about the end of August and its included The Descent 1 and 2, World War Z, The Cabin in the Woods, The Fly 1 and 2, and that's just a few to name. Cabin in the Woods was actually spectacular enough I watched the last half of it about 12 times as background noise while I was doing other things around the house. But its motha-fuckin' Joss Wheedon, so you cant be surprised it was epic.
Being a man of variety, I looked up a few of the top 10 listings online. I stumbled across Martyrs, and the blurb writ by this movie critic specifically kept it brisk so as not to spoil anything.
Just like telling me to NOT do something immediately assuring me I'll very likely do it anyways, withholding information from me immediately triggers curiosity. Further, it was #1 on this listing, so ... I downloaded it and gave it a shot.
Pass. Just... No.
Seriously, if horror flicks are something that's curiosity to you, fine, look it up, I'm not elaborating on the gritty, bloody, psychotic details beyond this; it focuses on kidnapping and bringing women (specifically, women) RIGHT to the edge of death after weeks of protracted and slowly escalated torture and suffering so as to breach the barrier of the afterlife WHILE they're still alive so as to describe of the visions they see.
Horror movies are usually good because they keep you guessing all the way through. They give you the HOPE that at least one of the cast will survive to the end.
This film starts with little. By halfway through, it gives you no hope at all. There's a scene where the main character is doused with chloroform and the screen goes black. The only thought that wafted across the brainpan was "... I can turn this off now... Because I know exactly what is going to happen and I know its going to be unfathomably horrible..."
I watched it. All of it. I suppose on some level both to slake my curiosity as well as a test of my intestinal fortitude.
I'm still quivering.
One part from abhorrence, the other from just being plain SEETHING MAD that this was something made for people's "entertainment". My only consolation is I didn't pay for this waste of my time and purged it from my computer the MOMENT I was finished with it. XU
*deep breath* ... I'm going to pour myself some wine, slip into my fave satin loincloth, give myself a hug, put on Wreck it Ralph while I art, and try to forget the past hour and change of my life. >.<
... Matter of fact, I think I'm going to watch nothing but Disney films for a month.

Further, my good friend
Chazpup has a theory on all of this delicious-yet-politically-relevant hoonery. 83
"I think it MIGHT be an interesting take on the British monarchy. I may be reaching here but the royalty has had little luck getting the people much interested in anything lately, whereas before they were. The doctor is Parliament, and the watchers are the EU. Charles coming to the rescue on the horse, political parties, is a way of trying to show the new blood trying to fix thing, when he runs into the moose (Canada) they spurn him, which Canada did by saying when the queen dies they want to secede from the monarchy. The monarchy responded by saying Fine.. be that way, then we want all our loans back and stop playing with our toys. Canada felt hurt. Charles (and the horse) try to wake her, with little luck, when she finally wakes up on her own.. saying the people of the monarchy move at their own pace. perhaps i'm reading to much into it.. but its fun to try."
