The Nigerian government is planning to build a six-lane superhighway through one of the country’s most remote rainforests. The construction of this highway will lead to the destruction of the habitat of some of the world’s most endangered species.

Many conservationists say that this project would displace at least 180 indigenous communities in addition to cutting through the national parks and forest reserves that are home to many of the country’s most at-risk species. This includes the endangered Cross River gorilla, chimpanzees, forest elephants and pangolins. There is also concern that the construction of this highway could lead to increased wildlife poaching and trafficking as it would give easier access to land that was previously unreachable.

Small changes have already been made to the original plan for the highway. It has been rerouted to avoid one critical habitat for gorillas, but it’s important to protect all the other animals and habitats still in danger. Entire families of wolves and bears could soon be shot at from airplanes and killed in their dens due to a recent Congressional vote. Though Republicans claim the votes for the Bill was a states’ rights issue, most Alaskans opposed the new deregulation, and several Alaskans voiced their concerns during the public comment period. Wildlife protection organizations have worked for years to prohibit practices like these in all states, but they will now be allowed in the state of Alaska.

Wildlife biologists strongly oppose the measure, and not just because of its unnecessary cruelty and inhumanity. Wolves, bears, and other predators play a significant role in their environments, and hunting these animals can lead to unintended environmental consequences, such as overpopulation of prey species. The impact of this new measure could result in environmental devastation in Alaska.

Innocent animals and their cubs should not have to fear being shot and killed in their own homes by flying human intruders. Please sign this petition to condemn Congress’ decision to prioritize the interests of unethical hunters over ecologically important animals in their natural habitats and ask Trump to not sign this bill into law.

Donald Trump is attempting to revoke President Obama’s coal regulations. As renewable and clean energy has become cheap and used widely throughout the rest of the world, it has has begun to overtake dirty and harmful coal energy. However, Trump wants to trash President Obama’s Clean Power Plan and encourage the use of more dirty coal and fossil fuels. Coal is the single biggest cause of air pollution in the United States and, because of the millions of tons of CO2 its mining and burning emits per year, it is one of the leading causes of global warming (which Trump and his EPA chief do not believe in). To reopen coal mines and rely on the dirty energy source would only further harm our environment and leave more toxic pollution for future generations.

Endangered wolves are being slaughtered in Finland because some hunters claim they are dangerous. Continuing to kill wolves only ensures that this beautiful animal will become extinct. Demand wolves be saved from this horrible fate. We have to act now if we want these awesome animals to be around for years to come.

I just started a petition to try and help stop a development that the government are planning to do on my hometown's open countryside. I don't know if it'll help, but if there's enough signatures then the government have no choice but to pay attention and start looking for new alternatives.

Rest In Peace, my beloved dog Max who past away today.

He went to death's door all within a few days. The vets did some blood tests, and found out he had diabetes, kidney failure, liver failure, and the murmur on his heart had increased. They surmised that he had a tumour/cancer on his liver, which caused a chain reaction that affected all his other organs.

I'm spreading the word for a friend of mine who's looking for any bit of work. Anyone who can help him out, give him a note.

Sadly, I'm in need of a new artist to finish my comic (Talespin: Life of the Party!). Leobo has been an excellent artist and friend to me this year, but he has decided that enough's enough. He wishes to try new projects, to develop his own art style and try new commissions. I can't fault him for that, and he's been generous enough to do 6 more pages for me (which will be a total of 31 pages), but after that he's finishing.

Unfortunately, I still have quite a few more ideas for my comic, so even with Leobo's hard work there's a good chance the comic won't get finished by Pg31. So I either have to cut my comic's outline in half, or find a new artist (preferably one who can draw in the same style as Leobo has been up to now, and willing to discuss commission prices).

Does anybody know anyone?

This seems to be a tragic year for celebrities. First Mickey Rooney then Robin Williams, and now Nimoy.

I've recently decided to start making plans for a sequel to my "Talespin: Life of the Party!" comic!

Keep in mind; I'm nowhere near finished with the current comic, and I probably won't start commissioning the new comic for a long while even after I've finished, as I'll need to start saving up again. So for now I'm just looking for any ideas.

I have the basic outline of the comic's story figured out, so I'm just looking for any ideas for scenes. Feel free to write down any ideas you can think of below! If I like what I see then I'll probably use them, if I'm not already, but if not then please don't take offense that I didn't.

The new comic will be a direct sequel to the current one, and for now will consist of the Air Pirates, Shere Khan, Khan's Pilots, and 'possibly' Baloo.
