I found out on her DeviantArt taht she uses Sony Vegas, which only works well on AMD GPUs! Needless to day, I am highly offended, as, being an NVIDIA Fanboy myself, I have a negative view of Sony Vegas, and thus, i am thinking about leaving the fandom after this discovery. Should I actually do it guys cuz I don't wanna be friends with an AMD User?

Rule #1 - It must be according to my Guidelines on my Homepage, but that's a No-Brainer.
Rule #2 - It cannot be anything involving Pokemon. As much as I love the series, given how I get an insane amount of people requesting me to do it all the time, the last thing I want here is you giving Pokemon Ideas. I'm trying to search for new ideas I haven't done before, not just more ideas for Pokemon Fanart.
Rule #3 - It can't be Helluva Boss cuz I know a lot of you would just rush that and Pokemon immediately if I allowed those two to be included, but I really want you guys to come up with new stuff here, so I had to ban those two from this Idea Challenge so you wouldn't be able to do the Furry Equivalent of Rushing B.

Some Ideas I Had Upon Seeing Them:
a. Edgy Toon Stuff like You See on Toyhou.se (If you know what that site is which, given a lot of my audience isn't that Hot Topic Type, I'd imagine most of you guys don't know what it is.).
b. Enhancing an Old Drawing.
c. Hybridizing Wolfychu's New OC (Roach/Novi) with Jaiden's Old One (Tory) and seeing what happens.

You guys can also throw in your own suggestions as well cuz I am really excited by my recent discovery!

Just an honest question, as I always kinda wanted to do one on Discord as, while I do have lots of legal complications using it (yikes), Notes is pretty clumsy and cumbersome to use for RP I found as I keep havong to refresh the page and stuff (which gets annoying after awhile). Because of this, I was wondering who would like to do an RP on Discord.


My Discord, BTW, is BF3019#5194 (Sometimes, it's Otrfuae Gov (Anagram based off of On the Run From the UAE Government) as an inside joke pointing to the fact that using a VPN in my country's illegal, but normally BF3019).

For one thing, I always had a thing where I think of Jaiden Animations as corporately pushed cringe just because she appeared in YouTube Rewind, and always seemed to be using her cuteness to attract people to watch her stuff. That, combined with her often not coloring anything in, thus leading me to believe she's lazy and unfinished with her artstyle, lead me to consider Jaiden as a bad, talentless YouTuber who only got attention cuz of OWO Cuteness. I mean, now I do see her animation is objectively better than Wolfy and she is charismatic and that's why people like her. That, and her artstyle for a lot of her DeviantArt stuff is crazy, and thus I'm trying to see past my biases a lot with her, but it took a long time to get to the point where I could actually see things from an unbiased perspective and appreciate both Jaiden and Wolfy like this, as I am known for being SUPER competition-based and always taking up one side over the other.

For another, I do a lot of R34 Stuff as you know. More specifically, I do a lot of Diaper Stuff. And, with how Jaiden has take a stance against anyone who makes R34 of her, I'm a little scared of making art of her in any capacity based on what I do and the chance she might have FA take down my entire profile for posting any art of her. That, and also her current Fursona is way too much like her IRL Self. I can do her old Commissar Lord Augusta/Emperor Zheng one maybe, but there's still that whole she might come after me for doing it thing. In other words, I don't think it's worth the risk to draw any art of her honestly given the nature of most of mya art

As of June 2, 6:03 PM, Discord got Cyber Attacked by an unknown hacker group. No identities have ever been discovered of the perpetrators though. As such, I will be doing a Discord Furry Thing soon in response to this hacking! They will not get away with this evil act of terror they committed on the platrform.

Recently, I was thinking about perhaps doing a lot more toon stuff (tells you a lot about whose gallaries I have been looking through recently, mainly Letrune's, Justa's , etc.), and I had an idea for a character getting turned into a Diapered Toon. I love Pokemon! I was trying to pretend I hated it to the extent of wanting it to be banned just cuz my parents would call me gay if I exposed that I loved the series. This is actually my deepest, darkest secret, and exposing it here is pretty...strange for me honestly. So try to be very understanding of my situation.

I'm not running anymore...I'm now going to stand up for myself.

Alrihgt, so this is the first time I have actually made any announcement on my series Off To Save Dreamland. I decided that I would just do a written format for this one, as I have neither the time or budget to make Webcomics, as well as the basic setting. So, the setting for this one is that it follows a girl named Amaralla, who's actually human in the 'Real' World (in the series). However, one night, after a mysterious incident at work, Amaralla awakens to find herself not only wearing a large, blue slime diaper, but also discovers she's now in Dream World, where is must save it from a dark entity that seems bent on destroying it altogether. I will be doing a lot more drawings based on OTSD very soon, so be sure to check those out!

I am also thinking ofa new character, and this time, I was thinking of trying a different species other than Foxes (Cuz I have way too many foxes already). Give me some ideas on what species my character should be.

Hello everyone! I'm the FurAffinity Nostalgia Critic, Brandon Feinstein, and I'll explain why I hate Pokemon so much.

I don't like it cuz it's overrepresented on here and there's so many requests being sent to me featuring Pokemon and it gets old after awhile and I just began resenting it FROM EVERYONE REQUESTING ME TO DRAW IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, when there's so much better series that they could have had me drawing than that CRINGE DUMP! Thus, I decidded to take an anti Pokemon stance for the sake of my mental health because the commuinity is the problem with their constant forceful requests of draw their pokemon and sh*t!

Pokemon is also being used by many people to just create OCs without putting much effort or thought into them. In other words, instead of using their talents for something better, like making a cool fox OC, or some other videogame species OC (Panderans from WoW for instance, which most people have heard about or played WoW) , they are just goign the cheep route and just making Pokemon OCS with bland personalities, predefined, inflexible character trates, depending on the Pokemon, HIDEOUS designs (if you're unlucky enough with choosing a Pokemon), and overall, just not that interesting attributes. This has led to many lazily defined, half-*ssed characters that are being mass produced without fail in lieu of spending the time and effort to actually make a good character. In other words, making Pokemon Characters is a sign of laziness to me and shows that an artist is either not that motiviated, not that talented, or both!

I'll be honest. Two DDOS Attacks in two weeks at the exact same time isn't a coincidence. I mean, CloudFlare has been doing some stuff with the copyright filter, adn they're getting really hard hit with lawsuits. They're probably cyclically DDOSing sites that run on them to generate a story to distract from their plummeting reputation and dire legal situation.

I also find it unnerving how FA didn't tweet about this attack. Makes you wonder what's really going on and what they're covering up behind the scenes. Cuz the last attack definitely had some sh*t to do with CloudFlare issues and not an actual attack. This one is probably the same way, as if CloudFlare is all of a sudden shutting service down to certain sites and threatening them into saying it's a DDoS against the site itself.

I mean, it's just like:
>Increasing Legal Scrutiny and potential for being shut down for copyright issues.
>Japanese Government has a gun to their head right now because of all the illegal sh*t they did.
>Reputation Destroyed by DMCA and Japanese Copyright Directive Lawsuits (though the second one is what did them in more cuz all the companies they have issues with are Japanese), going from great service provider to absolute diabolical scum and disgusting criminals overnight (and rightfully so, they knowingly allowed criminals to use their service for nafarious purposes).
>Needs a way to play hero and try to look heroic and act as if they saved websites by creating a DDOS epidemic using your own Security Staff or hiring one of those Grey Hat Security Companies like Fortinet or Ghost Squad (Both very respected companies in their field) to boost their dying reputation.

DISCLAIMER:

Before you call me a Conspiracy Theorist and try to discredit me, hear me out. I am not a cosnpiracy theorist, neither do I seek attention. I am stating an honest opinion based on actual research and reasoning. This is just me venting my anxiety over yesterday's apparent server crash, which MAY or MAY NOT be tied to a potential Copyright Filter Implementation on CloudFlare's Hosting Service. It could be just a glitch, you never know, but I don't trust Big, Faceless Corporate Entities like CloudFlare, so it's natural for me to think filtering whenever this happens on their end.

Alright. Now to the matter at hand.

I believe that yesterday's Black Box Incident was on CloudFlare's end. However, I also think that this wasn't a simple glitch, but rather somethign that CloudFlare is gradually rolling out starting yesterday. In all honesty, I am beginning to believe that they might be implementing a full Content Filter on their hosting platform. This would have a terrible effect on their websites, with pretty much anytrhing and everything that is remotely violating the filter's guidelines would be deleted instantly, showing that Restricted Message instead. Because of this, I decided to go and see if there was any potential evidence for it actually being a filter CloudFlare might be implementing, and what I found was....Concerning to say the least.

What kinds of content would it be filtering?

A lot of you might associate filters with NSFW Content knowing how DeviantArt has to do it to comply with Wix's Country's laws on said content and many other sites have their own filters. However, I have found evidence that it could actually not be an NSFW Filter, but rather a COPYRIGHT filter. The reason I think this is because, in January, 2020, CloudFlare Experienced a lawsuit from the Japanese Publishing Conglomerate, Takeshobo, for damages related to illegally uploaded content that CloudFlare was storing on one of its client sites. This caused CloudFlare to shut down the site in question, though their reputation was hurt severly after this incident. Additionally, to further add insult to injury, this isn't CloudFlare's first rodeo with issues concerning those using their services for illegal purposes. In June, 2019, Kadokawa, among many other large companies in Japan, including but not limited to Kodansha, Shouten, and several others, filed a lawsuit against CloudFlare for property that was uploaded ILLEGALLY to one of the manga sites that was on the platform. They stated that "Cloudflare is complicit in copyright infringement by offering its service to manga piracy sites," meaning that they were knowingly allowing people to break the law using their platform (Sherman, 2020). This means that, in other words, CloudFlare is not just censoring because of "Sensitive people," if they are implementing censorship, it's most likely due to continued legal issues with other companies and the dire situation the propbably find themselves in more than anythign else.

What does This Mean for FurAffinity?

Given the severity of the violations listed above alone, it means that FurAffinity is probably gonna start being severely limited in waht users could post, but not by choice, but rather by still being connected to CloudFlare's technology and using them for a hosting engine. Eventually, this severe limiting by association with the platform itself will mean that either FurAffinity will have to switch to other platforms, like Wix (though they have limiations on NSFW Content due to the country they're operated from) or WordPress (Not sure what their limits are) for hosting, or will just have to cut off from CloudFlare and begin building their own services for pictures and security. All in all, though, I'm really nervous about where CloudFlare is going with this, cuz...based on what happened with the lawsuits involving CloudFlare, with what I imagine was CloudFlare beginning to crack down on what client sites can have on them (With how this was gradually happening and not all at once, as well as how it said RESTRICTED, something I automatically associate with Authoritarianism and Censorship, and was happening on all CloudFlare Sites, it's evident this was a new filter on CloudFlare's end, and that's not good as yesterday's Black Box of Death was probably just a test run)...I don't think it will be headed anywhere good for FurAffinity or any other CloudFlare sites for that matter. Because of this, I strongly support the notion that FurAffinity MUST leave CloudFlare immediately and start developing its onw internal systems or move to WordPress or maybe Wix (one or the other) before it's too late.

I Will continue to update this one regularly as I continue to monitor the news on what CloudFlare might be doing, as I am greatly concerned with this, and I think it's just a first taste of what's to come.

After a recent Writing Request, I have realized that I hadn't exactly outlined my guidelines for requests.

I have updated it to cover both writing and drawing requests, as I have begun to draw more often.

Here are my guidelines for Writing and/or Drawing Requests:

1) I do not do anything with BDSM - That's just...no...no.
2) I will do dark stuff as long as it DOESN'T turn out Batman Returns and/or Zeta Gundam level (Wolfy in Toon World actually reaches those levels a lot now, so that rule's pretty much void).
3) I do not do anything about Mind Wiping cuz that just makes my skin crawl. I can't stand it.
4) I don't do Scat Fetish PERIOD (Yet I draw it all the time with all the Messing Stuff I do).
5) Since the opening of my NSFW account, I now allow stuff with graphic sex scenes. Just read the latest WITWs and some of my One-Off stories some examples of this.
6) Intense Sexual Content is now allowed as of the launch of my NSFW Account.
7) I now allow Extended Nudity Sequences as of the latest series of stories on my NSFW Account.
8) I rarely do any light or shading, but that's because of my technical limitations more than anything (I'm Using GIMP, and the Visibility/Blending for Shaders there is ugly as sh*t).


Clause Regarding Character Artstyle:

Because of my Artstyle, I often have to adapt characters to work within my artstyle rather than the other way around. As such, if your character looks somewhat different (or even extremely different depending on how much adaptation I have to do), don't blame me for having to change your characters in such a way. You asked for it knowing I have to do this, so the drawing is partly your responsibility!


Clause Regarding Age of Characters:

Due to my country's restrictive laws, I will often increase the age or size of characters to avoid any legal issues. Once again, this is something you will have to deal with head-on. I'm so sorry for being so restrictive sometimes, but one look at where I live will tell you everything.

UPDATE (Regarding Nyxiette's Suspension):
I have discovered that Nyxiette was actually suepended on behalf of Nintendo due to their Pokemon stuff (AKA Nintendo just once again being copystriking pricks). In other words, with this recent event, I may have to permanently discontinue producing anymore Pokemon Content just because I don't wanna end up like him as well. I'm truly sorry for this.

UPDATE - Things have since then cooled between FA and Nintendo, so now I can do Pokemon stuff again! Just note that I won't do it very often as it's not my favorite thing in the world to do.
