Heya! Ever since I started posting my work out here there’s been an aspect I’ve thought about a lot, and that’s the F-slur. It’s a recurring element in my personal work, though it takes long enough breaks that it might be a surprise to some when it shows up. It hasn’t attracted any controversy or discussion yet, but FA’s a big place and I know not everyone will share my exact views on things.

Originally, I intended to put out a poll gauging folks’ opinions on it, but now that FA has finally implemented a proper blacklist system I’ve been able to modify the plan I was likely going to hatch anyway into something with no real catch. Any piece utilizing the F-slur will contain the "slur" tag, so if you’re not keen on that you can add it to your blacklist! I’ve taken the liberty of updating my back catalog with the tag as well. New pieces going forward with this stipulation will have slightly different alts posted to scraps, with different scripts. Also a chance for me to flex the writing brain more than just monkey braining in the "neuron activation" word, lol

If you’re wondering, "who the fuck cares?", well it costs nothing to be accessible and welcoming. I know a lot of my work deals with ‘edgier’ themes as-is but unlike a lot of aspects, this particular one can be associated with real hurt. Courtesy’s good, especially right now.

Hiya! Just a quick little gallery update and a bit of a question for y’all! I’ve added some additional folders to sort by character if you’ve got your preferences hehe. I’m hoping to hash out some other granular sorting options in the future too.

And as for the primary point of this journal, I wanted to ask you folks for opinions and such. I don’t buy into the doomerism surrounding Furaffinity as of late but that being said I’ve been meaning to establish presence on more platforms than just here. While I have a Twitter that’s very much off the table for… obvious reasons. I’ve been hoping to offer things that might be somewhat impractical to organize on this platform but well-suited elsewhere (i.e. ask boxes and the like) along with just being another avenue to post things. If anyone has suggestions for where I could set up shop that’s accessible for folks and functional (Bsky? Cohost? Tumblr - NSFW stuff is still banned there, no?) it’d be an interesting and helpful conversation to have. Thanks!

Hello hello! As a quick aside before I start, I’m really pleased to see how much people liked the POV CTF! Meta aspects were something I’d been wanting to do something with, and Kaz hijacking his own ref (plus a little rampaging in the comments) seemed like a fantastic opportunity. Big thanks to everyone who played along~

Anyhow, this past month hasn’t really gone the way I expected… I’ve felt a little stuck dealing with art block and mild illness, which messed with my schedule and motivation a bit. But I’m gonna get back on track, and I have an idea of how I wanna tackle this month! For the first half, I’m gonna be progressing on a request in between binging the fuck out of Persona 3. That should be the first upload from the newest request batch!

My main goal then for the second half is to finally open up comms for a (very small, initial) batch! That’ll establish a roughly alternating pattern of request work and comm work, depending on how many slots I take. The full details will go up later on, but the client-side flow will be more or less the same as that of requests.

Hi all! Since my last journal I’ve made a lot of progress on the YCH pieces (first should be up tomorrow!) As such, I’ve decided to open up my request form to start collecting responses - here are the important details:

- Form will remain open for a little while, at least a week or more. I’ll communicate again prior to the form’s closure. Requests are not first come first serve, I’d like to give everyone a chance!
- As always, anonymous requests are an option!
- Requests this batch do not have a particular theme this time (I couldn’t come up with one, lol) so feel free to throw ideas around! My horizons are fairly broad. If you’re strapped for ideas, the themes in my gallery and faves are well within my wheelhouse~
- This batch will be notably smaller than the first, only around 2-3 slots depending on the content. This is for the sake of limiting the turnaround time, especially with the larger plans I have for the future. I felt bad keeping people waiting for so long.
