General | Posted 13 years agoAs many of you know, myself and several others used to have a friendly cash game on a weekly basis. Due to circumstances (people moving and losing interest), we did not have enough people to play. We are looking to get weekly poker night back up and running.
It will usually be on a Friday night. We play very low limit, with stakes of .05/.10. Maximum buy-in is $10 at a time. We usually stick to Texas Hold'Em, but we will pepper in other games (Omaha, Stud, etc.) occasionally.
People are always welcome to bring drinks and snacks, and a pizza is usually ordered at some point in the evening. :P
So! Sound like something you'd like to do? Leave a comment here and we'll start getting this back up and running.

Regarding CALIFUR and RMFC poker...
General | Posted 13 years agoSo, if you follow me on twitter or have talked to me recently, a lot has changed in my life. Within the last month, I have both graduated Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, and was hired as a case manager for a State agency. Not really sure how much of the job I should be disclosing, but it is a pretty nifty position.
ANYWAY, back to the purpose of this entry. With this new career, I cannot guarantee being at either of the cons in the title. If I do make it, it would likely be a spur-of-the-moment thing. As such, I will no longer be able to run the poker tournaments at these cons.
If you are interested in keeping the cards in the air at either of these cons, shoot me a note and I'd be happy to give you the appropriate contact info.
Thanks to those of you who participated in one (or more!) of the tournaments in the last three years. It's been a lot of fun. :)
Oh! I do plan on being at FC, so if you want an invite to my exclusive cash game at that con, lemme know. ;)

Please keep in mind, however, that I can only make you one if I can find the appropriate animal figure. The company, Schleich, does not make all kinds of animals.
