Noisy Rooms available (deadline to sign up tomorrow at 8am)!
Posted 11 years agoThe hotel just informed us they can block together our "noisy" attendees to help us reduce noise complaints.
Note that this is not a true "party floor" like that found at Further Confusion. Room parties still must have the doors closed. Please still don't blast music; please still keep the noise level the same as if there was no "noisy" block. With this common courtesy, and a little luck, you can party as late as you like without getting noise complaints.
If you have reserved a room and want to be in the noisy block, send an email to hotel[at]biggestlittlefurcon.org with the legal name on your hotel reservation, and we will add people to the noisy block on a first-come, first-served basis until the block is full.
It's really important that you send your emails right away; we have to send them a list of people to put in the noisy block by tomorrow.

Dance Till Dawn!
Posted 11 years agoThe Saturday night to Sunday morning dance till dawn is a go! On Saturday March 29th! If the dance floor stays alive it will go until 7am when the bottomless mimosa buffet opens. We look forward to see those party animals again!

Hope you're all enjoying the photography I'm finally getting around to posting -- my EMT course and life in general have kept me a bit busy until now, but now that I'm free for a while, expect to see lots more!

BLFC fun day at the GSR! Sat. March 2
Posted 12 years agoThe Grand Sierra has so much fun stuff to offer that it's a shame to wait until BLFC to enjoy it! This Saturday (March 2) 
, our celebrated chairskunk, will be hosting a day-long event at Grand Sierra Resort. There will be fursuit bowling, go karts and shenanigans galore! It will also be a great time to try out some of the 11 restaurants on site. As one local fur put it, the sushi at Rim is "so soft you can chew it with your teeth!" At just $26 for all you can eat, how can anyone pass it up?
We'll be meeting up early afternoon and going until all furs drop. There will be a room for changing into/out of fursuit. Bring your cameras and sense of fun!

Promo video shoot is today!!!
Posted 13 years agoFilming for the BLFC video is today, starting at noon. It will be an all-day event, culminating with a room party at the hotel. Help is certainly going to be needed and there will be lots of fun things to do between locations.
Come by the GSR and be ready to help out. Again, filming starts AT noon!

Video shoot - Sat., Nov. 24. People needed!
Posted 13 years agoThe filming of the BLFC promo video has been finalized and will be shot at noon this Saturday at the Grand Sierra Resort!

pegalis will be at the GSR all week, getting details worked out, but the Social media office, VP of facilities and security departments are all ready to let the SNFurs shoot!
Please show up a little before noon so shooting can be staged and suiters can get into costume. At the shoot, pegalis will be the lead, so follow his instructions. Some furs may get tasked to assist in herding the suiters and getting shots taken care of.
Fursuiters ARE needed. So if you have a suit and are free that morning or know someone who is, please attend. If you cannot make it, please consider sending the fursuits. Non-suiters, you may be asked to wear suits at times to help with productions.

Fursuit casting call!
Posted 13 years ago pegalis and baseprogression are working on an advertisements for BLFC and have been granted full access to their media site as well as granted permission to film a fursuit promo video at the hotel.The rough story board is drawn, music selected with rights in the works; all that is needed is an HD camera and actors! Suiters from the Bay Area will be in the area, they are hoping to recruit draft all Reno-area suiters. If you do not have a suit, they might still be able to use you in case there are more suits than bodies or a suiter needs a break. This will be up to each suiter of course, but it's something that will be needed. If you are a suiter and don't want to act or cannot attend, the use of your suit would also be greatly appreciated.
The tentative filming will be Thanksgiving weekend and will most likely last a few days. There will be some scenes filmed both before an after the weekend as filler or teasers.
It will be hard work but a lot of fun! Details of an after party are not certain yet, but you can be sure there will be an amazing Base party to celebrate! =~/-\^=
UPDATE: One fur has already offered to the use of his camera and to help film. I would like to have a back up camera in case his can't make it for some reason.
Oh, and spread the word!
