So. I'm not all that much of a gamer and have been more on the Xbox side of things. But after a couple requests and a bunch of inquiries, I broke down and got my first PlayStation and Monster Hunter World. It's interesting and frustrating, but I like it. My biggest hurdles in the game are reminding myself that I'm not holding an Xbox controller, remembering monster names/locations, and begrudgingly asking for help.

I only started a couple days ago and haven't gotten far due to running around the map like James Woods after candy, but I'm enjoying playing with the glaive. What are you guys' favourite gear and/or monsters to hunt? And also, do you have any tips for a newbie like me?

Until I find another job, I'm back. May really relearn how to doodle, but you won't see too much of the ol' fluffbut. I'll be around though, lurking in the bushes to pilfer all your spaghetti, sushi, and delicious pastries. Feel free to poke the shrubbery with a stick or fish to lure me out and chat.

Still working and barely lurking here nowadays. I got two positions now, and more off days every now and then. I managed to come across an Xbox, so I'm enjoying that. Fell in love with Dying Light so much that I forgot how to play GTA, but I'll get back to it if I figure out the online parts of it.

All in all, this old mutt is fine, lifting 50 lb potato sacks, running off with all the carrots and pink apples she could get her paws on, and drop kicking zombies like a looney. Totally fine. X3

I still lurk here when I come across some free WiFi, if only to clean my messages.

Also, I got myself a job a couple weeks ago. I like it, but standing up 8 hours a day is really painful. Though now I barely make it halfway through the shift without my feet trying to kick my butt.

Anyone mind me doing a few single character $10 sketches or $15 flat coloured sketches this time around?

I need to replace a few thing thanks to the hot water heater turning the apartment into an indoor kiddie pool. Plus I need to get some medicine because I managed to catch the rare cold.

Any ideas on what things I could draw JC, Sorel, or any of my other characters doing? I need to keep myself and my doodling hand busy. XD

Maybe open up trades or random gifts since I think I suck at commissions? Pics of someone's character hanging out with mine?

Since I tend to wuss out over commissions commissions and trades, I think it would be best for me to go back to my old ways, which would make things easier for me. Whether it's receiving art or money, if I'm getting something in return for my art, I'll go through a "chickening out" phase until I'm brave enough to start working on the pic I'm supposed to do. That phase can last for quite a while.

Back when I first started posting doodles online, I used to just do requests and some gifts. I'll do that from now on, at least until I'm less wussy.

Requests: I'll do them by posting a journal with a trivia question or riddle. The first one with the answer will get to request a pic.

Gifts: Will go to: Friends (if I man up and actively start making them), Any character that piques my interest, or nearly anyone who says something that makes my day (be it something that makes me laugh or just something awesome). The gifts will most likely be surprises, unless their profiles indicate asking before drawing gifts. (I'm too shy to do that)

As for commissions, I'd rather just do sketches until I'm confident enough to do better ones. I may surprise a commissioner later on by colouring or making a finished version of the pic, as a gift. Would that be good?

I'm sorry to those I owe. Would you want free sketches of what you wanted instead?

But that doesn't stop me from being a zombie.
Sorry I haven't really been around. October and November has been full of horrible insomnia, coupled with rude awakenings nearly the moment I finally drift to sleep. Heck, someone even worked puppy-sitting into one of those days.

This month, I still have the insomnia But with no interruptions, so I actually get some rest. I did end up with a bad cold now though.

Haven't drawn since October, but I hope I can fix that soon enough.
