Whenever I meet someone who outclasses me, I'm exposed to the boundless potential of dialogue that I can't tap into because I'm a complete mess when it comes down to it.
I'm there thinking "wow, such class, the eloquence by which they paint the world around them!" but the sneaking realization is that simply wondering such things is ultimately fruitless unless it's reciprocated somehow.

anyway it's odd, some people creep you out, some people are wondrous fountains of inspiration that makes me want to buckle down, explore their minds.

Met some new people recently and the thing about the fandom is, you end up talking about stuff you'd never entertain the notion of alone or with your usual friends.

I'm honestly not a person with too many hobbies or interests, but in a way it's fun to see this whole world of other things you've never really heard of, or actually experienced.


I remember when I had this English tutor, and he jokingly said "what are they teaching you!?" when I mentioned I've never seen the star wars trilogy.
