I got a call from back home today, Beowulf passed away this past Saturday.

Came home from work and opened the door to the house and was hit with the natural gas smell. Found one of knobs on the stove was ajar and the unit was hissing. I turned it off and opened the windows and made sure my roomies were ok. Neither of them have any idea how this could have happened since neither of them used the cook-top or stove last night.

(The tone of the last journal was not what I had intended so I deleted it and am reposting.)

Blue and I have broken up. We are staying friends, that is all.

I haven’t felt like drawing much these past few weeks. Partly because of school and partly because I feel a bit burnt out on doing so many birthday pictures for other people and very little art for myself. I think I need to cut back on that and do some pictures that I want to do for a while.

Got back in town on Tuesday night, safe and sound. Had a wonderful time with Blue and Cyberbear. Good memories. :heart:

I am on vacation from work and heading for California. I'm sure you all know why. Will be heading for the airport soon, I will see you all when I get back!

Funeral was done on Wednesday, burial on Thursday; I will be leaving for Indiana in about 2 hours from now.

I got a call from my nephew last night while I was at work. My mother passed away last night. I will be following up with my brother later to hear what funerary plans are in the works. What a shitty way to start my week. *sigh*

I had my online final for my Micro Economics class tonight, I scored 92% and I only needed 15% on it to lock in an "A" for the class. Now I can start prepping for CaliFur next week!

My birthday day was long and tiring but also very awesome! Hung out with a friend of mine and we ended up going to a very terrible drag show. We both had some laughs at it. Now on to the next item on the schedule, finish the semester and then . . .CaliFur!

Lots happening this week. Vacation starting on Tuesday, driving home to visit family (6+hour drive); oh also my birthday is this week. So my activity here may be sparse over the course of the week.

Well internet is working again; after the tech left yesterday I went right to bed. Happily the connection is nice and stable. Looks like the feed line from the utility pole was burnt again. Another phantom electrical fire it appears. We have the power company coming out to have a look and see if they can figure out why it is happening.

Just to alleviate any questions as to why I'm not talking much right now, my house Internet stopped working yesterday. Tech visit scheduled for Thursday. Everything is being done on mobile at the moment.
