Now, I know this has been the year from hell, and with it comes seasonal depression, stress, anxiety, and all the rest. It afflicts us all, including me, the Binder in chief. However, in honor of the spirit of giving, and to see if this will work in reducing at least MY anxiety, I'm doing a bit of a Patreon drive.

Money is tight right now, and don't give if you can't. However, if everyone who followed on all the different platforms gave me just $1 a month, I would be able to cover rent, and at $2 a month, I'm now up to food and pretty much all income. That would ease a major burden and make sure I could focus a little more on getting the stories you all love direct to you!

But, of course, I won't ever ask for anything with no return. So I started a story, realized I messed it up, had a bit of a depressive episode, and in trying to calm myself and replan things the other day, I wasn't paying attention and cut my hand fairly badly on a razor while shaving. I am okay, but what started as a mental shock has now become a physical one, so I am afraid it's going to be a small delay before the next story happens.

Hello all you lovely people, sorry for the delay in things... My significant other is moving and between helping her out and crying uncontrollably it's been hard to find motivation. I hope to post things, and I'll need to distract myself once they are gone, but for now I hope you understand my lethargy. I don't like to get political, and if you don't want to bother with it, don't, but I want to make myself clear. It's going to be a bit of a rant, and deal in absolutes.

Black lives matter. All lives, in fact, matter, but we've definitely proven, as a society, than for some reason we can't get that through our thick skulls. Gay lives matter. Queer lives matter. Straight lives matter. Trans lives matter. And if you, for one moment, can't get it through your thick skull that people EVERYWHERE are people, and deserve to be treated as such, no matter their orientation, background, color of their skin, disabilities, WHATEVER... If you are willing to listen, to hear, to grow, to think, and can be swayed, even if we don't agree on this subject, or want to put caveats on this, then we can talk. If you believe otherwise and refuse to change your mind, I refuse to deal with you. Take your fun elsewhere.

Martin Luther King had a dream, and one day it will overtake this nightmare we live in. We have to fight to make that happen, or else we are not going to survive all that divides us. And even if I, personally, don't suffer from these problems... to be silent is to be complicit.

Since my birthday was on the 21st, I figured I'd take a moment to reevaluate myself and see what's up... so let's get started:

I had a job that took away my ability to write, but thanks to this virus stuff, my tourism industry job is gone and I'm back to writing full time... My state's unemployment system is nuts, but I somehow made it through... My significant other loves me quite dearly. I have started a sexy/smutty D&D session with members of my patreon group (And I'm sure you'll get a lot of stories about that from them) and... Life is strange, but I am coping.

I am so sorry for my disappearance this month. I got a new job, a string of depression hit, I am incredibly tired from the 10 hour shifts, and my usual writing times... well, aren't available anymore because I need to operate at normal human hours. That's the long and short of it. It's a good thing, because I have a job and now don't have to only rely on commissions to pay the bills, but... Man, I miss all the smut writing.

I will be working on getting things going again in a timely manner once I am a little more in the swing of things, and for any of my patrons who read this, DON'T WORRY, I am keeping track of all I owe you~! There'll be a flood as soon as I figure out my new stride.

Hey all! So I'm sure you must have noticed my slow down this month. I do apologize. Sickness, life trying to get in the way, trying to find a job cus Smut only pays so well... same old same old. Still, they're only excuses when you aren't getting all the stories you want. I'm hoping to get through my backlog soon and get back to doing what we're all here for!

Speaking of, there's a slight change to my Patreon.

Previously I was giving people a raffle chance to get a story from me. Well, I'm not doing that anymore. Instead, you're going to build up to one based on your tier, working towards $20. Basically, if you're at the $20 tier, you'll get a story from me every month. The $10 tier every other month, the $5 every 4 months... and so on. Even if you're only throwing in 1, I'll count down those 20 months.

This is retroactive, so anyone already in the system, don't you worry! But for new people, that's how it's going to be working. If someone was crazy enough to throw more than 20 at me a month, I'd have to figure out something really good to give them, but this system seems a little more fair overall, and isn't going to stop me from more "random" choosing of stories, but should open me back up to writing my own things. Oh, and I WILL put a limit on how many stories will land in any given month, but don't anyone worry about me reaching that any time soon.

Away from all that mess, I hope you are all well, and that this journal finds you at the beginning of a fresh new month. After the mess that was the last one, hopefully things clear up a little.

Hello all! I am sorry that the month has been so sparse with updates. I had a really bad cold hit right in the middle of things, and then a wave of commissions that I have been working on. Of course, I'm happy for the commissions, but it has been slowing down my other writing. I do aim to get fully back into the swing of things, and to aid that, there's a slight change coming to my patreon in February, but I'll post the details for that when I have it all hammered out.

So... I have been unemployed for MONTHS at this point, and living off of my savings. Those have depleted, and the job I was counting on landing decided to go with someone else (So glad I spent all those years studying for a degree that nobody cares about). Since I've been having some issues lately getting work apart from writing, and as much as I wish accolades and good wishes paid... well, they don't. SO, it's time for bit of an emergency drive!

I continue to have a Patreon, and from now until the new year, every single person who joins it, at any level $5 and above, will get a story of their request equal to the amount they donated (1000 for $5, 2000 for $10. and up to $5000 for 20. And anyone who wants to toss more money my way monthly will get an even longer story). This is ON TOP OF the bi-monthly drawing for a free story you get just for being a patreon. Also, prices for commissions will be as follows:

$20 gets you anywhere from 1-5000 words, with 1 free rewrite if you want stuff changed around.
After 5000 words, it's $1 for every 200 words, with no limit on it.
If it's something I don't want to post on my account, or you don't want it being posted, add $5 to the price.
I'm flexible on MOST things, but I do have a couple hard "no" topics: scat, diapers, vomit, gore/snuff, and full on violent torture type stuff are no bueno.

Hello my wonderful readers!

Sorry that I have been so quiet this past week or so. It has been quite a stressful time in my life, and holidays and whatnot... Honestly, let's just write off the whole thing... Or I would, except I have reasons to celebrate!

As you may have noticed, I have a patreon, and it has a wonderful first patron. Now, at the moment, they're the only one in the running for my two monthly story giveaways (Which are separate from the picture's worth 1000 words, which I'm still doing, btw) but there's still time to give them a run for it. Anyone who chips in any amount of money, from 1 dollar all the way up to 20, is going to get a chance at a personal story written by myself on the topic of their choice. Now, there are rules, and it may look like a raffle or a lotto draw, but there are two things to keep in mind: 1) once you've gotten a story, you won't win again until I've given one to everyone else, and 2) it's not a matter of "if", just "when". Everyone is going to get one eventually.

But, if you're wondering why my story flow has been a little slow lately, that was due to a string of commissions I received. Now, as I look forward and continue working on things, I am going to make a small argument here: I want to do this for a living. Not just this, but work creatively: be able to write and make people happy without having to worry about whether or not anyone cares. I see that you guys do, don't you worry... If you have the ability, could you show it? Here's what I mean:

If every favorite gave me just 2 dollars, I'd have rent for the month.
If every watcher gave me just 10 dollars a month (33 cents a day), same deal.
If I was being paid by the word, at 10 dollars a month, that would be 0.015 cents a word for this first one. Or 3.67 cents a page.
And, just for fun: You'd have a book almost as long as the first Harry Potter book if I bound up what I had and sent it your way.

I honestly hate that I have to be mercenary about this sort of thing, but this is the reality of the world we live in, and I can't live on likes and favs alone. So if you can, it would really make my day to send some money my way, and if you can support on patreon and I know I have stuff coming in, I can work on making my dreams come true and help your fantasies make it to the page. Isn't that really what we all want?

Now, there's a Patreon ad above this journal, and I've been asking for you to subscribe, but if you look on it... there's no extra content. Nothing is locked away as Patreon-only. So, why should you pay for your porn when you can get it for free?

I know that reasoning far too well, but I refuse to lock away any stories. I want to give directly to you because I want to make people smile. I want to make them feel good, read something fun, get a little horny... I don't do it for the money, I do it for the love of the smut.

So, life hit me with a curveball recently, and it's been set on a path to just keep them coming. I'm running deep into the red on my bank account, and that combination of over and under qualified that the wrong degree gives you just... Well, the job hunt is screwy right now. There may be a few other life developments that weren't planned for, and... Let's just say I'm having a minor freakout.
