In a bit of financial trouble...help
General | Posted a week agoSoo whilst I'm still waiting to get started on this new job (which is just taking forever but now they have to do checks so at least there's progress) I kinda need some help or just need to address something that's just gotten worse over the year.
It's no secret that this year has been exhausting in every possible way for me but in the backgrounds I have been working to near collapse to keep me and my family afloat but to put on top of that I've been paying off a huge loan which was fine to begin with but as the year has gone on and cost of food and living has gone up and the art market dying along with just a world wide crisis and the failure at the con, it's begun to get harder and harder, the loan agreement (which again I full understood and consent to) was to take %25 off all my payments and my dumb brain forgot that the bigger the payment the bigger the chunk it takes which has effected my ability to pay rent, food, meds, etc.
And for a while I was ok with this, again, I agreed and understood that this was how it was gonna be till it was paid off and I was getting by. But now my taxes came through...
And now I owe them £3000 by January of next year on top of the loan which I have about £2000 left to pay , so now I am VERY worried, I have no savings, still waiting to start my job and I'm exhausted from working overtime and not sure what to do.
I'm selling stuff on vinted, I'm planning on doing YCHS and just general commissions to try and pay off as much as I can. But I know it's not gonna be enough and I'm sorry to be such an beggar but I seriously need help with this... even just some of it.

Well I am still gonna be working on the queue and patreon stuff as normal. I just won’t be as desperate to open commission slots all the time now so I may be able to focus on myself and my personal art!

General | Posted a month agoHeya sorry for the lack of updates I’ve been busy trying to keep afloat, the art market has completely dried up for me and I didn’t make even half back from the con sadly. I’ve been in the job market and applying for as many jobs as I can with what little free time I get between commissions which has been rather tiring and stressful but there are some potential jobs so cross paws.

General | Posted 10 months agoHonestly I just can't catch a break, since November last year I've been having a series of illnesses that knocked me out, then taxes ended up being more then I expected which drained my bank, then I got ill again, then christmas happened, then Jan was meant to be getting back on track with everything but became more stressful and to put the icing on top one of my cats got ran over which has completely broken my heart and just crushed me so much... I'm exhausted, hopeless, tired, and I miss him so much I'll never see him again and I only just got over the trauma of loosing one of my older cats passing the same way. Money is just flying out my bank, my social life has just completely ripped to shreds, I feel like my art and work is shit and slow now a days and I'm just so lost and overwhelmed and tired.
Legit don't understand why life is so fucking cruel to me, I suffered so much childhood abuse and even through growing up... I thought life would give me a break but guess that's stupid of me to assume such a thing.
Oh well
I just gotta keep moving forward.

General | Posted a year agoThanks to my amazing girlfriend and awesome friend they got me a new graphics card which seems to working just fine now so I will be taking this time to catch up with work, I plan on opening some full body sketch coms as well as some traditional con badges soon once that queue is clear, but I'll make a post about that soon!

General | Posted a year agoWords can't honestly describe how much it sucks to hear of his passing but I wanted to take this time to thank him for creating this site and being so supportive to so many of us even till his last moments, we only spoke a bit but when we did he was so kind and supportive of my work and I'm so thankful that he helped create this site and kept it going for so long whilst keeping it's core compared to other sites that have become unwelcoming to artists in recent times... if it wasn't for this site I wouldn't have been able to make a living out of something I love and meet and talk to so many amazing people including him.
I'm so sorry the system failed you and I hope you rest well.
❤️Rebranding slightly -PLEASE READ-
General | Posted a year agoI've decided to bite the bullet and rebrand myself a bit, from now on my online name is Werewolfaboo.
But to save on having to start all over again on some sites I've decided the best thing to do is sites like twitter, ko-fi, as well as con table stuff will be now under Werewolfaboo, My more after dark stuff like FA and patreon will still remain as BB as I wish to keep my public art sites sfw only and nsfw sites separate anyway. I'm still fine with people referring to me as binty or boss as I know there's alot of wolfies out there which can get confusing this whole renaming thing is more so for my own personal thing to be honest.
Regardless I'll still be doing the same stuff as always and hopefully some different topics I've not touched in ages whenever I get the time lol. Headshot commissions CLOSED
