A New Story
General | Posted 4 years agoIt's only 6k words, but it's finally done. Just need to edit it and get it uploaded.
Another story
General | Posted 7 years agoI've got another very dirty My Little Pony story in the works. It's not too big or long (well...) but I hope y'all enjoy it when I finally release it.
STORY COMMISSIONS GUIDE
General | Posted 12 years agoSTORY COMMISSIONS GUIDESo, you’ve read one of my stories, seen me
Pricing:
Pricing is determined on a per page basis. While the formatting options for the finished product can be altered to suit your needs, prices will be based around these dimensions:
Page Size - Letter 8.8” x 11” with 1” margins
Font - Arial, Size 12
Paragraphs - 1.15 line spacing
These dimensions are how the story's length will be judged for payment purposes, and can be altered afterwards. That means that if you want a larger font size for the finished product, you will not be punished for it, because the price remains the same! Upon completion of the commission you will receive a digital copy of the story in the basic format and, if requested, another copy with whatever formatting options you want to include.
General Prices:
Non-Adult Writing: $8 per page
Adult Writing: $10 per page
Pages are an ‘at least’ quantity: a 20-page commission will be at least 20 full pages long. Likely, it will be 20 full pages and 1 partially filled page. If I go over the commissioned length while writing it, you get the extra pages for free!
Example Stories:
The Prodigiously Pregnant Pony of Ponyville – 11 pages, 5803 words.
Cynthissis – A Xenomorph’s Tale (Chapter 2) – 15 pages, 7792 words.
Mass Effect Commission – 21 pages, 10,543 words.
Stipulations About Content:
I’m a very open minded person when it comes to kinks - here’s my F-List as an example - but when I’m RPing with people, I do have some things I’m not interested in. However, commissioned stories are a different beast entirely. Things that I do not like to RP about can be included within a story, but for an increased price. I write because I want to get better at it and enjoy the art of it; when it’s not fun, it’s not fun. The list of what I really dislike is fairly small, though, and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. But feel free to ask!
Payment:
I prefer using PayPal so I can send invoices, and I accept payment in American Dollars - or gold bullion. If you want to pay another way, just talk to me about it and we’ll see what we can work out. However, I do require payment first before I begin – writing even a short story is a large time investment, and with a job and school, I can’t risk a lack of payment for my work.
Last Points:
And that’s it! If you wish to commission a story from me, just send me a note here on FA and I’ll help you out with the rest of the details and how to proceed. When it comes to writing I prefer to write in Google Docs, which has the added bonus of allowing you to keep a track of the progress in real time AND gives you a perfect way to offer instant feedback to me while writing. A fun way to have a real and profound say in just how your story comes out!
I Hate Allergies
General | Posted 12 years agoI really, really do. I don't like having my nose turned into a snot faucet.
I've been editing a friend's MLP:FIM story, and....
General | Posted 13 years agoSo I've been working on improving my writing, and one way to do that (besides writing more, of course *innocent whistle*) is to help edit the works of others. I have a friend of mine that I've known for a while who has been working on a My Little Pony story, and I've been helping him to edit it and correct minor problems.
However, I am not the most talented writer, which can make editing a bit of a challenge. I have my own problems and foibles, and while I might like certain things, those generally aren't beloved by all. So I find it hard sometimes to critique his writing when I don't know if there is a problem in the first place. I'm an intuitive writer - I try to write what sounds good without really understanding the real laws beneath it - which means that I often don't know why something is wrong when I read it.
Because I'm a dummy.
Anyway, what I want to ask is that if there is anyone out there that wants to read my friend's My Little Pony fan-fiction story, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how the first chapter or two flows. There is a lot of exposition in it; and while I personally don't mind that, I might not be the best judge on how well it flows. I am trying to help him work through it some, but I might need a fresh set of eyes.
Bringer of War [Dark][Adventure][Human]It's about a disgraced soldier and an AI (along with others) ending up in Equestria as ponies. I like it, but then, I like 'stranger in a strange land' scenarios. It's just behind another favorite: 'people ending up in an alternate reality where their life is very different'.
And no, there is no sex or pron in it (*cue disappointed sighs*). I do happen to read things that don't involve big cocks and bigger bellies from time to time, after all.
*crickets*
Honest.
*crickets*
Anyway, if you do happen to put up with his long story, I'd be very happy if you were to let me know (or him, I guess) what you think and what I should offer in the way of assistance.
On a side note, here is a remix of 'Raise This Barn' that has been stuck in my head for days.

General | Posted 13 years agoI do sure love moving!
I love it even more when I'm taking finals at the same time.
But what really makes me happy is when I'm stuck in my new apartment without internet for three weeks during the same timeframe. Fun!

I survived the Olympics
General | Posted 13 years agoAnd all I got was this lousy t-shirt.
And pretty hammered (pissed, for my British mates).
All in all good fun. And surprisingly, the crowds were not too bad.
But the only problem? I had that AMAZING commission from Riddle
sitting around that I couldn't upload until I got back! Patience is not one of my virtues.

Still... still smiling! Fun fun fun!
...
But on the bright side, its all over now, and vacation is coming soon. And that is smile worthy!

Staying Dedicated to Writing is Hard!
General | Posted 14 years agoI've been trying to keep up with my dedication to the idea of writing or working at least an hour a day on whatever catches my fancy at the time. But since I work twelve hour shifts at my job, the days I work I don't have the time (or willpower) to do much else.
But even then it is still hard to remain focused on doing just an hours writing every day!

Star Wars - The Old Republic
General | Posted 14 years agoI finally decided to get back into the whole MMO thing. Being a long suffering Star Wars fan, it seemed an excellent choice.
Anyway, I'm playing as Tannala, a Jedi Knight on Iron Citadel. If you happen to be on, drop me a line!

PayPal - The Quest to Talk to a Human Being
General | Posted 14 years agoSo, many many months ago I had problems with my PayPal account back when they went all security crazy. At the time I was still in school, didn't have much money, and had little use for my PayPal account. I didn't really care to jump through hoops to get my account all "securifimified" and I didn't do any of the steps PayPal demanded I perform. Any concern I had I let sink away as I focused on my real life issues.
Now fast forward around two years and, a few months after graduation last spring I have (thankfully) found employment and have some extra money to spend.
"Oh capital!" I declared two days ago, "I think I will treat myself to a Commission or two now that I have a steady source of income." So I remembered my old PayPal account that was registered to my email and decided to go check on it to where I had left off two years ago.
There my troubles did begin.
Let us just ignore the fact that it took me a dozen attempts at different passwords before I found the right one. And the fact that the security questions I had made no sense and lacked clear answers, leaving me incapable of changing the password to something easier to remember.
No, let us just focus on the fact that after a few dozen attempts I guessed my ancient old password and gained access to my account to re-discover that I had limited access due to it not being verified. It doesn’t sound like a major obstacle, so I thought I would go ahead and verify myself
My first obstacle quickly presented itself, beckoning madness forward. I needed to verify myself to regain full access, yet because I could have full access I could not verify myself. I have become Catch-22, destroyer of logic.
Thus I had to call their support number the next day. Finding said number was a chore, but once I had it I began to call. And confront the most bassackwards computerized phone system I have dealt with. To keep things short I won’t go into depth about how the phone calls kept ending after I chose one option or another, making the ordeal take much longer than necessary.
There I was, trying to navigate my way through obtuse menus that were of little worth to me. Each time I felt I got a little further into the system but still could see no light at the end of my PayPal tunnel.
And then that pleasant robotic voice uttered a word in amidst one sentence that caused my soul to sing: agent. “Agent!” I screamed into my phone, startling my dog. “Agent! Agent! I want to talk to an agent!” And the phone crashed again. However, I knew the key phrase to gain access. I turned into a monstrous bitch to the digital receptionist, interrupting each of her sentences with a loud “Agent!” before she had time to finish speaking.
Eventually I was led to a real human being (oh glory!) and finally managed to resolve my issues after another hour or so of work with her. I had triumphed over all, despite it taking two days and hours on the internet and on the phone.
So the real point of this story is thus: I finally have a working PayPal account, spare change, and a desire to purchase a few commissions!

WoW Screen-Manip Collaborations
General | Posted 15 years agoSo I thought I might post a link to the Darknest Fantasy forums where a German friend of mine, Toyhammer, has put up a number of World of Warcraft screen-shot manipulations he has completed.
The reason? I collaborated with him on a number of them, writing some stories and text, and he has replied in kind with some Whitehoof fanart.
Here should be a link to one series of pictures:

Addicted to Fav'n!
General | Posted 16 years agoI swear, I am an addict when it comes to marking images as my favorites! I normally save a copy of every picture I like onto my hard-drive, and if I think a picture is worth saving I usually add it to my favs as well.
But I have SO MANY FAVS!
I’m such a fav whore. . .

General | Posted 16 years agoWow, I just realized I hadn't yet uploaded Chapter 9 of my Whitehoof story yet, despite the fact that its been on the Darknest forums for a while. Need to fix that ASAP!
Need to keep writing
General | Posted 16 years agoSo, I'm finally getting settled into my new apartment (I know have hot water! Yay!) and have been trying to work up the drive to write the next chapter of Whitehoof.
But I am seriously blanking on where it should go.
So if anyone reads this and has an idea, feel free to reply and I'll seriously consider what you write. No joke. I'm lazy, and love to have people do the work for me!

Been a long while
General | Posted 16 years agoI should update these more often, me thinks.
I really should work more on my Erika Whitehoof stories, as well! But damn me, my ADHD, and my very lazy nature!
For those of you who are interested, there is a very talented artist who is doing some character sketches of my protaganist Erika Whitehoof, for free no less! When they are done I will ask him if it's ok if I post them here so you can all enjoy his work! Huzzah!
Heres hoping you are all having great summers!

Sprained Ankle
General | Posted 16 years agoI sprained my ankle late on Sunday night. How much does that suck; class the next morning, and I sprain my ankle just a few hours before going to bed.
Well, at least I have painkillers! *Drugs herself into sweet nothingness*

Elephant Dicks in SL?
General | Posted 17 years agoWell, it’s quite simple really: I would love to see a proper elephant penis for Second Life. As it is now I get by with a heavily modified horse dong that works well enough, but it’s still lacking that massive tubular look and near prehensile like quality that I want, nay need!
I’m very much interested in all the little details you could say.

Second Life Elephant Avatar
General | Posted 17 years agoWell, I got a very lovely gift early Christmas gift in SL from two very close and special people: a wonderful Elephant Avatar!
Mmmmm... now I just need to wait for my new computer to arrive so I can start taking some really nice screenshots.
