Join.me vs Livestream?
General | Posted 12 years agowhat do you guys prefer to be honest? I'm thinking about streaming sometime and I've been wondering which services best cater to viewers/streamers? I've recently hopped into a Join session with a friend of mine you see, and I found the whole program to be adorably light and simple and easy to use. However, I've never really seen that many people streaming with it, most use livestream though Join seems to be, ah, cleaner??
so what i'm asking is what are the pros and cons you've noticed? My bf says livestream's a bit easier to manage in terms of streaming quality (the ability to choose between low, medium, and high), aswell as being able to keep one window selected at all times. For Join you have to upgrade to do things like that, and has a 10 person limit to basic streams. Also, no sound.
anyway any input or feedback would be appreciates yo! I'd like to stream a tintype sometime, though they seem to take a few hours to do haha

Journal Cleanout Yeah!
General | Posted 12 years agoDecided to go in and clean out my rare once-a-year journals I tend to make as a lot of them were WHOAH I NEED SOME HELP HERE or BUY SOMETHING FROM ME PLZ. :'D I left my old commission data up and some experimental stuff I was doing (or planned on doing, still do actually!) but for now I think I'll actually interact with you guys instead of popping in once in a while, offering something, and then running off haha.
I've also decided to not go through with the tintype commissions like I had planned. They're still relatively new and I feel like I haven't drawn away from the source that they started from. So as much as I enjoy them, I'm going to work on making them 100 percent my own. It was a tentative offer anyway, so I think that's ok. ;v;

IF you find yourself ordering quite a bit from me, you MAY want to opt for flat rate (I don't think that'll happen but!!! never know!), flat rate envelopes are $20 or appear so on the UPS website plz correct me if I'm wrong here. If prices somehow drop I will let you know; right now they've jumped to twice their normal amount and it's kind of bullshit if you ask me. :I!! But that's how it is for now; I will keep things updated.

["Unique/Unusual" commission idea - Capsule Balls]
General | Posted 14 years agoOk so you know those capsule balls you get from 50 cent/1 dollar machines? Those ones that contain little plastic toys, or stickers, or whatever?
Well I buy them from time to time. As a result, I have a small handful of plastic, brightly colored capsule balls. So I was thinking (and I got this idea from my latest capsule venture), what if I were to do a series of teeny tiny drawings and put them in each ball, and have people pick which one they wanted from a photograph. It'll be random of course, but I'll provide some hints; for this set, if I go through with it and to keep things simple, I'll do Pokemon again. The balls will be divided either by region (johto, sinnoh, etc) or by type (poison, grass, etc). But the Pokemon inside them will not be up to the customer.
Because of that, I'm not too sure how to price them. They'll probably be around 5 bucks per ball, and you'll get 3-4 micro drawings on card stock. I love doing microstuff, I don't know why because it's freaking painful, haha.
NOW I'M NOT SURE IF ANYONE'S DONE IT BEFORE (probably have) but I thought this would be neat. Anyone who's got any suggestions or feedback for pricing or whatever comes to mind, would be greatly appreciated! C:
